This McDonald had the best burger, peach pie, and pandan ice cream! It's by far one of the best McDonald's ever!

Just a heads up for those non-Singaporean viewers. The prosperity burgers and peach pie is not on the regular menu, and it's only available during the Chinese New Year festive period (Feb-Mar). The pandan ice cream and prawn paste chicken are also not regular menu items. The MacDonalds in SG regularly comes up with these novel flavours for a limited period only. For example, we now currently have the nasi lemak burger as special menu item, and the last time it was available was 1 or 2 years back (can't remember exactly when). These items are usually available only for 1-2 months and they're off the menu.

McSpicy has a different name in Malaysia which is the Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, I wonder why they didn't just use the same name. and the McChicken is the regular smaller one.

Each McDonald's in (virtually) each country operates independently from the origin McD U.S. This is just due to McDonald's being a franchise. So, 'McDonald's Singapore' operates an an independent company under licence from McDonald's U.S. This is like 'McDonald's UK' or 'McDonald's France'... etc...

Singapore is the only place in the world I will eat McDonalds, the food is fresh, generous, tasty, a hint of Asian fusion thrown in... chilli sauce instead of horrible ketchup. For Mikey Chen, next time you are in Malaysia or Singapore, please try the 4Fingers, another tasty take out place with great Korean inspired fried chicken. 10:07 Peak a boo, i see you!

The chilli sauce is called the garlic chilli sauce, one of Singapore's MCD speciality! You should try that with the double Mcspicy burger , you'll never leave Singapore

I personally love the plain chili sauce. The garlic chili sauce is one of the most terrible things I've ever dip my fries in, literally the smell alone is terrible and I love garlic, and chili, not together. We have them in Brunei too

The McDonald's in Singapore & Japan are really up there! You don't have to pick a favourite between them though! Because both of them have different best burgers. The Filet o Fish & Shrimp Burger in Japan is the bomb! Whilst the McSpicy Chicken burgers in Singapore are the bomb!

As a Malaysian, the reason is that you can get great non fast food in Malaysia, Singapore etc at a really cheap price. So in order to actually get customers, McDs need to serve actual food at low price. Whereas in the US, McDs are just all about being cheap

Fast and cheap is the American way. I'm a chef and even though I can cook for myself is all about time we are a fast pace nation everything on the fly so going through a drive through is just easier. Doesn't make it right the way it is I lived in Europe and it is more relaxed. We have fast food restaurants at every corner its about convenience also.

We do have the mcchicken burger and it looks just like the photo and it costs $2 as compared to mcspicy which is more than double the price :) and the prosperity burgers are only available when it's Chinese New Year thus "prosperity" hahaha ^^

It's not bad but it's not good. It's more of a bland food, but it's consistent. So you aren't likely to be surprised when going to McDonald's by either exceptionally good or bad food. Which I guess has some value when traveling.

Honestly the McDonald’s in the United States are probably the worst. Large companies likes McDonald’s like to cut corners and use fillers and cheap cuts in their food. This is especially true in the United States as there is no law saying they can’t sell burgers with a significant amount of plant-based filler. They also manufacture their food to be addictive so you keep eating it.

I was actually fortunate enough to visit one in the Phillipines about 15 years ago, but they only had one burger on the menu. I did try the spaghetti but like Mike said in past videos.. it was way to sweet. However, their fried chicken was good.

I so wish we could visit that McDonald's...! I agree Mr.Chen...why can't our fast food and convenience shops be as good as they are in Japan and Singapore! The service in the restaurants, stores and shops over there is SO much better too. I doubt that we will ever be able to visit those countries, so we really appreciate you sharing your trips and experiences with us!

Gi E sure, but it’s fast food, one shouldn’t expect much quality. It’s still unfair for Mike to compare the dollar menu “mcchicken” to a limited time premium sandwich. He ought to be comparing it to their “signature buttermilk crispy” or “artisan chicken”, that’d be a decent comparison.

The pie is so good because it looks like they’re still dee frying. Here in the US McDonald’s stopped doing that years ago and now bake them. They ruined the taste.

It is changing, more US consumers care about the quality of food. This is why organic food is one of the fastest growing industries. Wholefoods and New Seasons' profits are much higher than traditional grocery stores. Even Walmart now has organic section. What I'd like to see change is the fast food chains: offering better ingredients but still maintain lower price points. But this will cut their profits down.

For this video, I think he went ard January- February because prosperity burger only available during chinese new year(includes the peach pie). McSpicy and buttermilk burger available all year long.
