I come from an upper middle class home. My parents were very strict on 5 of us kids. Very religious, catholic schools, country club membership the works. All 5 of us where taught money does not grow on trees. We all worked at at a very young age at our family manufacturing company. Saturdays and summers. We got paid min wage, but it instilled great work ethics. I made the Dean's list and honor roll each semester. My younger brother was 18 months behind me. He never finished 9th grade, my father died when he was just 14. No education, no job skills. He just liked to parTy and steal stuff to get by. My mother tried everything, as the rest of the siblings. I bailed him out countless times. Moved him here to Texas. Nothing no matter what I tried worked, he was on the road to drugs and alcohol. Shortly after this my mother passed away at 56. He got his inheritance and blew thru $285,000.00 in 2 years. His "FRIENDS" JUST MILKED HIM DRY. His druggie girlfriend dropped him off at a hospital in New Orleans when he coughed up blood. He bled out in 4 hours. She told the staff he had no family, then drained what money he did still have and left him in the morgue for 66 days. We didn't know where he was. He was buried in an unmarked puppors grave. So sometimes no matter what your upbringing rich or poor. People chose the lifestyle they want to live. I don't blame the grandma at all. I'd like to get in touch some kinda way. I'm single no kids retired very comfortably. I've worked very hard in my life. Put myself thru school. Honorable discharged United States Air Force Sgt. I've seen to many friends pass away to soon. My neighbor kicked his only son at 17 because he told them he was gay. Jehovanohs Witness religion, it's a freaking cult if you ask me. He was homeless for 4 months. I never knew it. He could have stayed at my place, I've known him all his life. So in closing, you never know where someone has been, nor what they have been thru. While that Is considered a violent one. You can get those misdemeanor’s (solicitation) expunged after a certain amount of years when domestic cases you can’t.
