I've met a few extremely sad women in my life. Tasha is one of the saddest ones I've listened to, so far. Her biggest problem is that, in her heart, she doesn't believe that she deserve being loved. In fact, she cannot imagine any man, in his right mind, being able to truly love an 'ongoing or inflexible' prostitute, which she confessed to being; she said that if there is something that she wants and her boyfriend isn't able to get it for her, then she will go out and prostitute to get it. The only type of man, outside of the game, who I can imagine being able to love a woman like Tasha is a man who is capable of having an 'unconditional love' for someone. Men like this are as rare as unicorns. To be in a continuous love affair with Tasha, a man needs to have the patience of Job, the heart of Romeo, the brain of Sigmund Freud and the forgiveness of Jesus. The 'game' has transformed Tasha into a person who is thoroughly-damaged, mentally. She seems to be suffering from a very serious case of paranoia with her trust issues off-the-hook (Inflexibly, her current belief is that every man who is interested in her either has an overt or hidden motive, which has nothing, at all, to do with loving her). Any man whose agenda is to love Tasha, unconditionally, he truly has his marathon task cut out for him.

Great comment Mim-Z. But that’s what’s required. Your description of a Job/Romeo/Freud/Jesus hybrid unicorn man is what we should all try to be. That is, if we want to be fulfilled, I believe. If being fulfilled is not our goal then any alternative will do the trick.

She's brutally honest and the streetlife is so deeply engrained in her that it's who she's become. She is right, she'd never put up with the bs that comes with working a job and waiting to be paid. I respect her for making the choice to not bring children into her chaotic, painful, dysfunctional existence. Stay safe, Tasha.

I don’t judge her, at all, but (I’m sorry) it gets hard to listen to what she is actually trying to communicate and that becomes annoying because I do want to hear her story! It is similar to a person over using “like” when it is used so many times every other sentence. the listener is just anticipating the next LIKE, and not really listening to the person anymore. She can train herself out of it if she practices and tries to be conscious of it, though.

This is probably the only interviewee I’ve seen with common sense and smart about not doing drugs, having kids, advice on stability, etc. It makes me sad because she’s been doing this for 18 years and she could have likely succeeded in a couple different careers. The way she talks about the young girls and how they shouldn’t be out there and all that, she has compassion. I could see her as a nurse or counselor of some sort. She’s a great communicator. I hope she is ok in the future

Talking about how good of a parent they are despite them being on drugs and not present. They praise the women who have kids that they aren’t even taking care of on here but then chastise the parents who did the same thing that they are doing that caused them to grow up like this. I like her. She's honest and open and real. Started at 16, made $700 her first night. The sad part is alot of these working girls get that type of money and then dont know what to do with it and spend it daily as fast as it comes. She's 34. Could you imagine what she would have now if she just had started with a small savings account over these years.

I can't imagine being 12 or 13 and having been so mistreated in my life that I think sex is such a casual, nothing, thing to the point that I'd consider prostitution as "fun". Then, as an adult, being so use to being mistreated that I'd be addicted to this kind of lifestyle. I understand the money being addictive... but I guess the cost has long since been paid. The amount of people that are treated as objects in this world is just heartbreaking, truly.
