After i saw your video about your tablesaw kity 619 and you looked very happy having it... I bought one myself. I was searching what to buy and you gave me the confidence to go for a kity 1619 when it showed up on the internet here in the netherlands. I am happy with mine too and now i am looking for maintenance tips. So tomorrow i will buy some WD 40 PTFE and start spraying. I hope to see more video's about your tablesaw. Greetings Randal

I used a paste wax made from 1.5 parts bees wax and 1 part raw linseed oil for rust prevention.

Can you use 0000 steel wool to remove rust on you hand plan body, foot and blade?

Perfect thank you for sharing. I have some hand tools that are developing rust (Channel Lock Pliers and some Snips) Would you recommend Dry PTFE for the Rivet? Anyway thanks again!

Standard WD40 works great for pliers and snips can be a little messy but nothing a rub of a cloth can't sort, PTFE will also work.
