I mean to be fair, Animal Crossing was a series with a consistent Pattern. I frickin love Tomodachi life, but what’s annoying about not getting a new one is very different from being inconsistent. People expect AC, but don’t get it; we hope (but not expect) to get a new Tomodachi life. Hope vs expectations. Plus I don’t think AC and TL have anyone in common, you don’t have to tear down AC fans in the hope that that gets someone to make Tomodachi life quicker. We all want content in the worlds of our favorite games

I probably meant if it was just a port with no changes, I wouldn't buy it. The only reason I would buy a direct port is if I want a second island without modding/hacking.

Nah it's normal, my little brother got 4,000+ hours on Fortnite in ONE YEAR.

More things: - Dreams are more fun or have some extra aspect to them - Ability to ask miis to be friends with other miis (instead of relying on a CHANCE for them to ask to be friends with a mii) even if it doesn't work out or they don't get along, we should at least have the ability for them to introduce each other or something - See a list of all food likes and dislikes for each mii - More areas on island in general - Room decor options (they can be minimal but you could get items from miis to then decorate with instead of selling them at the pawn shop) - Food name and description corrections (I mean seriously, "Bacalao" for the portuguese dish??? Didn't that pass ANY checks lol that one HURT my portuguese heart)

@WildVee the chance aspect of friendship was so fun tho. I definitely wouldn't mind a way to make certain miis interact to be friends, like perhaps invite both to an event and they talk there.

@@Nebby_smells Oh definitely, it is fun! It's adorable how it can be so random :) But for example, I have some miis from an anime series on my island and *none* of them are friends. It's heartbreaking! The fact there's nothing I can do about it really sucks, I think there should be way to urge them at least :)

- Less regional differences, please. I want all of the content in each version instead of having to mod the region exclusive stuff into the US or EU version. - A proper family tree system so we don't end up with incest, a huge problem if you aren't using a save editor to force Miis as siblings or family - More stuff to do with baby/child Miis - I want to say adding a pet system (cat/dog/bird to keep things simple), but I feel a Nintendogs revival would be a lot better for that sort of thing - On top of gay Miis, aromanticism as an option would be super useful too (Mii cannot fall in love and will reject all romantic confessions regardless of relationship status)

Furthermore, Nintendo had actually only originally trademarked "Tomodachi Collection: New Life" over in Japan so technically this new "Tomodachi Life" trademark that popped up is an entirely new one instead of a renewal.

I would say that they would probably have to adapt per region to avoid backlash if you know what I mean. Which won't happen anyway, but probably what could solve it from getting banned from some countries. Kind of like there's movie scene adaptations for some countries and not others.

Althought if they do that, they better also include life and make it a whole series collection (heh). That way nothing is lost and everything is on one console. Besides I would love to be able to natively access the japanese songs. Would absolutely have a motivation to learn Japanese just to make songs (not the only motivator but the most tangible one).

​@@TheStickCollector Did you know the Japanese version is named Tomodachi Collection? The first one was only released for Japan, and the second one was titled Tomodachi Collection: New Life, and it got renamed Tomodachi Life for the other regions.

@@bennel3588 Seems weird to assume I didn't. If it wasn't a sequel why would it be a new life if the old life was already there? Heard it was the vocalization software that prohibited easier localization to the west until a few years later.

@@TheStickCollector Someone has mentioned that New Day is probably taking the attention away from Tomodachi Life. I wish the creator of New Day worked with the companies that did Tomodachi Life. Someone is hoping Nintendo will sue them. I think the game is already available on Steam. The creator is telling me that he is not cheating off of Tomodachi Life, it just has the experience of the Sims and Tomodachi Life. I did suggest he worked with Nintendo, but he already made a demo of the game on Steam, so it seems like there was no going back on that. I even told some people to stop begging, because Nintendo might cancel the sequel, but they tell me that the more they beg, the more likely Nintendo will bring it, but it seems like Nintendo does the opposite. Someone did a video that Nintendo is not bringing Tomodachi Life back, and someone noticed it was because fans kept pressurizing Nintendo into making a sequel, so they shut down the series.

@@bennel3588 neat, I suppose. How would you even go about working with them? Send an email and hope you get a job or something? How would you even pitch the game to them anyways. I would say the more competition the better. They might even have to make one in order to keep some of the original marketshare. If I knew any programming I would be making a similar game by now, with all the features I want in it.

I thought they were going to fix that in later games? In Miitopia, I’m pretty sure gay couples were allowed. I think there was something with Russia making it 18+ because of it. I think Nintendo would be okay with making it possible to have queer relationships in Tomodachi Life if they were to reboot it.

@@saturnthemirrorballits not really outright “gay couples” all the characters in miitopia are just friends, and none of them have gender i think, unlike in tomodachi life where gender plays a roll and they can have romantic relationships, not just really close friendships

I dont think they're being homophonic, I think it's more of them not wanting to cause more controversy. They'll get hate if they add it, and they'll get hate if they don't.

personally i think this could be acknowledged in an "advanced" settings option on a mii's profile that lets you choose which gender they like (opposite, any, none) tho idk how this would be recepted, but i think it would be a nice and simple "fix" to have😊

@generically.watched I agree there's a way to go about it, but you never actually know how people will receive it and they aren't interested in controversy or there would have been many possible tomadachi life games by now.

Wii U was my favorite console. If I did download some stuff on the Wii, I can transfer all of that to the Wii U. There were classic games I can download on the Wii and Wii U. I meant Wii does NES, SNES, N64, Sega Master, Sega Genesis, Turbo Grafx, and I'm wondering if I'm leaving anything out, and Wii U does NES, SNES, N64, GBA, Nintendo DS, and Wii. It's a shame that the GameCube got left out. I thought it would have been better if Wii U downloaded Game Cube games instead of Wii games. The Wii disks could still go in the Wii U, but to play the Wii disk, I have to go to Wii Menu to play it. I know, because I used to have a Wii, and then got a Wii U, and then transferred the stuff from Wii to Wii U, and all the transferred stuff from Wii is in the Wii Menu.

They'll probably have a cursor/box around icons. Don't see why they wouldn't have that. I just hope that we can actually make something out of the new hardware, like a gyroscope for the console/controllers with trigger buttons for the shutter.

I'm pretty sure some tomodachi life's features can be taken from the way they interpreted miitopia
