It is both used in a legitimate manner, e.g. people bringing up the fact POC face increased violence and targeting by US law enforcement agencies and trying to find a solution for this, and is weaponized, e.g. people asserting that Sanders supporters are bigoted in some fashion (against women, AAs, etc) when population-level data actually shows the opposite. The big question is, how can we address the real issues that cause socioeconomic disparities along identity lines, while dealing with the people who weaponize IDPol to defend right-wing neocon/neolib policies, like Neera Tanden?

I also think that when supply chains collapse, none of us will be able to afford to be so ideologically discriminatory of our food sources. So, I'll be the first to resort to cannibalism.
