Marine + Ghosts seems like a good composition, good drop potential with a mix of Nukes and Marine drive bys and Ghosts allow you to counter tech. I also think ravens should always be allowed if only at least for detection in fights.

I'd like to see some liberators in there. I think it'd be funny to have the air units cover the ground units and the ground units defend the air units.

Vikings would be a sound addition. Deals with the colossus nicely and has a lot of potential.

I suggest marine + Medivac + widowmines. The wms add potential for big plays but also potential for disaster if the shots get pulled into your marines. Double edge sword of sorts.

I recommend adding ravens for your spice. The things that seem to ruin your marine medivac are tanks and giraffes and ravens deal with those.

I believe Libs can be a great addition to Marines, they can cover them easily and help against tanks and other threats. Also Marines/Cyclones could be quite good I think ? (they can take care of units that are too far away or fast units such as Tanks, Sky units, Stalkers, etc). And lastly why not Ghosts/Marines ?

Hello Marc, love the content from bomb cloud to current. I would love to see Mass Marines (and Medivac) plus a special guess unit of your choice per game at a timing of your choosing. For the Finally or Mass Marines to GM Version 2.

I don't have a particular unit I want to see, I think all the suggestions are good, I would just love to see that video, still doing this challenge with a bit of extra utility thrown in is going be a great episode.

I remember when you first started... I wanna say bongcloud? Or speedrun to GM where you mentioned how you're worried about your cast/analysis quality while in-game. Its really insane to see how far you've come in such a short span of time.

I was thinking a little, if you do SCV pulls to GM, you could always play around with attack priority. So say go in a choke, hold position workers and go rouge with marines or something xD

Gotta be Raven. Detection and aa missile vs toss or mech is sorely needed already. I'd say only go for a Tank, when there's no other option to in anymore (without the Raven).

Armour shred only ravens would be amazing. Still keeps marine only purity but also will make marines themselves better with less armour. Id say using ghosts against protoss and zerg for emp only would be awesome. Wouldnt mind seeing both armour shred and emp and see how far that makes the marines go.

would love to see the hotkeys uThermal uses. Like in the only mouse video with the camera or with a digital overlay which hotkeys he uses. Would might help to improve my own gameplay :)

I don’t even know why, but I’d like to see Thors added in for one of the marine medivac finale games.

Combat shield I believe only increases HP by 10. 45->55. But with stimpack it makes them go from 35->45 HP. Banelings deal exactly 35 damage. So marines are no longer one shot by them. And zerglings now take 9 attacks to kill instead of 7.

It's hard to say personally what would be a good edition to phase 2 of marine medivac. Tanks makes the most sense because it is classic SC1 terren backbone, Tanks and Marines all day. But I'd almost want to suggest ghosts, no nukes. I think the EMP's will just let marines melt colossus, the snipes will help with the chunkier and long ranged zerg units, and the ability to do some sneakier stealth based things. I feel like too that keeping the build bio is also more in line with the spirit of marines meds. Def second vote would be tanks though. Part of me would even love to see Hellbats for that classic marine firebat feel, but the point of phase 2 is also to make the build stronger to keep it going on the ladder.

I want to see you play RocketMan where you can only make units that fire rockets. Marauders, Mines, Cyclones, Vikings, Banshees, Liberators (yes they fire lazers when sieged, but rockets unsieged so they're allowed!) and anything else I've forgotten. No bullets (guns), lazers, medivacs, battlecruisers, etc. I want to see you Rocket To GM!! 😄

For another challenge I would love to see you try a : Zerg cheeses to Grandmaster! These Bly matches are insane. Having your awesome commentaries while you would perform these sneaky hatcheries would be very entertaining!

Possible next challenge? You have to build every unit, but have to work your way through, Barracks, Factory, Starport. Then back down, Starport, Factory Barracks. So you can only build a marine, a reaper, a maruder, a helion, a seige tank, a cyclone, a thor etc, then work backwards and forwards throughout the game

I'm mostly an SC2 spectator, but when I actually play my Terran, I always play Silly Goose strategies.

Let’s see reaper with marine medivac. Provides a zoning effect like the sentry and can allow you to split units for focus fire.

Someone else mentioned a "Boxart to Grandmaster" where you can't have more than 5 of any unit at a time. Seems like a fun idea to me.

You said the non-stim combat shield is better for when you get surrounded, which would also make it better when you don't have good enough micro to not get surrounded.

hoy thermy. Would something like "youtube/discord plays uthermal" be fun? Maybe have a vote every other minute which gives you an order on what to do next. Expand. Harass. Tech switch. Or. Have some kind of application that decides this for you, as the game progresses. Maybe by enabling certain things after x amount of time. So within the first 5 seconds, it might be something like "proxy x", "exp before rax", "double exp before rax" etc. After 4 minutes it could be something like "tech switch to x", "pull the boiz", etc etc :)

Marine Medivac Marauder without siege tanks is probably a very old classic and I'd like to see it revived. Nothing spectacular or creative or whatever but yeah, I do still want to see a slightly improved version.

Because your star ports are busy making medivac and barracks is busy making marines, a factory unit makes sense. Cyclones would be fun.

I would suggest a battlemech challenge (mech + bc).. It would be a less restrictive one with lot of combinations potential and lot to learn.

Challenge idea: On a challenge where you are building one set of units only (example, marines + medivacs for this one), you must build another Tier 2 (except Helion) or Tier 3 unit, but only one of them, after your first 4 marines. You must build only one such unit and keep that (hero) unit alive throughout the game. If that unit dies, you instant-GG and lose the game. To spice it up, that hero unit needs to have at least 5 kills (if too easy, make it 15 kills). You are not allowed to heal or repair said hero unit. In a game where you opt to have one ghost, you cannot have medivacs in the set of units for that challenge. Example, hero unit cannot be ghost in the marines + medivac series.

Third game vs Zerg was really impressive, as a lowly diamond player I learned a lot

As a new challenge you could do a “5 unit limit” where you could only build 5 of each unit (5 marines, 5 marauders, 5 tanks, 5 vikings etc) you would have a large selection to choose from at the beginning of the game, but you would quickly run out of options as you made your way up the tech tree, and once you had finally done 5 of each terran unit, you could build whatever you want to finish the game.

My first vote would be Marine + Raven would love to see 3-3 Marines on anti armored units. Plus disable can really help with Tank and colossus when are kind of broken against Marines. It is also a pretty good gas dump. my next vote would be Marine + Liberators.
