Seriously unfashionable. Wonderful music. I treasure watching Mamas Boys at the Marquee in London in the early 80s as a wonderful time. They were great. Hey I am a Motorhead fan and I appreciate good rock and roll regardless of image or press. I would like to say, THANK YOU MAMAS BOYS.

I still get sad listening to MAMA'S BOY'S. My cousin Kevin used to pal around with Tommy when the lads lived in a bungalow in Hartstown, Blanchardstown, in Dublin, Ireland. This is how i got to know Tommy sure he even came round to our house around 1983-1984. Tommy was very funny, honest, and an all round good person. I was lucky enough to go to a few gigs and for me a 13-14 year old i was hooked on their music. I will always remember my friend. . R. I. P me ole pal Tommy. Still missing you.....Dave

Thanks for your story. Tommy was indeed a gent , a right blaggard 😂 & incredible drummer. I still miss him & our chats/laughs. I have gigged (I'm a drummer too) with Pat McManus a few times , from 2008 to 2014, as a dep'. Such an honour. (Just to add, I'm still in touch with John)

I travelled the country to see these guys play. They were up there with Thin Lizzy and Rory Gallagher and indeed the Horslips. First time I heard them live, my neck was aching for days after , oh the head banging

Yup seen him in orkney a few years ago and at Troon winter storm festival before lockdown. He's certainly the best guitarist I've ever seen in orkney. He plays plenty of Mammas boys covers and is really approachable for chat, autographes or pictures. All round great guy who's in the business for the right reasons.

Great tune. I saw this band in the '80s in Blackburn. They were great and I am surprised they did not become more successful. I know Tommy got ill, and they had problems with radio play and vocalists etc. But, great tunes nonetheless.
