My mom became a single mom when I was 6 and my siblings were 4 and 1. She didn't have any extra money, but she had a love of Disney and we watched all the Disney movies growing up. When I was 10, she decided to plan a trip to Disneyland, "It's now or never" she said. It was the most amazing place I had ever seen. I just remember feeling like I had been transported into this magical land. My mom was buying several souvenirs which was unlike her because I knew she didn't have extra funds. When I asked her why she was she said, "This may be the last time I ever come here." I told her that was silly and of course at the very least when I grew up I would take her with me. She was diagnosed with cancer about a year and half later and passed away soon afterwards. It was the only vacation I ever went on with my mom, and somehow I think she knew she would never be back. The home we lived in was just a rental and is long gone, so I feel like I remember her best on the streets of Disneyland, or riding Big Thunder Mountain, her favorite.

I grew up on Disney as a child in the 1960's. I remember when Walt was alive and I used to remember seeing him introduce his weekly anthology show on Sunday evening. My first trip to Disneyland was in 1963 and my parents told me my eyes opened as never before and was obsessed with Disney ever since. I'm now 64 years old and still love Disney. I hope that however you celebrate the holidays, you have peace, hope and joy.

I love Disneyland! My oldest son was disabled. I raised my two sons as a single Mom. Money was tight! As my kids grew up, I volunteered at their school and one year all the teachers got together and gave us a trip to Disneyland!!! I nearly passed out! Well, long story short, my son had the best time! He is no longer with us, but we rode Peter Pan so many times! So, now, when I go back, I head straight for Peter Pan and the memories and the magic fill my heart! That’s why I love Disney! This year I am taking my younger son and family to Disneyland. It will be the trip of a lifetime!

In 2010, I went through an ugly divorce. I have three daughters that decided to stay with me. Disneyland was our place to get away and have those special moments without having to think about the ugliness we were all going through and to this day we still make the time 15 years later to all go to Disney together and share those special moments and create new ones but now with new grand kids. I think it’s safe to say that we are a Disney family though and true. Disneyland got us through those tough times, and was and is our special place to be together.

I’ve always wanted to work at Disneyland since 8 years old because of the castmembers always made me feel acknowledged and made my experiences at Disneyland magical. Now as a castmember I make sure I acknowledge my little guest (children) and their families being as pleasant and welcoming as possible. Whenever I see you and your family I always thank you for being kind to our guests and making videos to share the magic at Disneyland. I appreciate working at Disneyland and I enjoy making magic for all of our guests they’re all family to me ❤🙏🏾

Hi Chris, I’m currently 70 years old and my first visit to Disneyland in 1956 and while I don’t remember it we do have home movies. Living in Minnesota, driving to SoCal is a major trip, but every year from age 3 to 20 we took family summer vacations and over the years we’ve taken every possible route always ending with several days at Disneyland. Every year as vacation time drew closer the anticipation of going to Disneyland was for a kid in the early 1960’s indescribable. We never had a lot of money for souvenirs but one year after watching the gas powered model airplane demonstration. My dad purchased a a gas powered model airplane that would fly on a string. After getting home my dad an I had many hours of fun flying that plane

Disneyland… when I walk through the gate and under the sign (you all know which one) I’m no longer an adult who knows about 9/11 or school shooters or divorces or hateful people… I’m 7 again when my world was perfect. All my family was alive, I was safe and worry wasn’t a thing. I was just happy then, pure joyfulness. I feel all that again when I go and get to see all the kids, my baby sister and then later her kids (my beautiful nephews) & all the kids I see when I visit the park. Seeing kids believing in the magic and that they could do or be anything….it heals my hardened heart. 🧡🖤🧡

I took my wife here in 1974 for her 1st time at Disneyland for our honeymoon. We have been coming back many times over the years with our kids and now grandkids. This June we will be back just the 2 of us for our 50th anniversary.

As an adult, I got to go to Disneyland (before there was even a DCA) with my mom. Just the two of us.! It was awesome!!! We had a wonderful time! We’ll never be able to do that again though, as she can no longer travel 😢Very happy to have that very cherished memory 🤗💛

My family didn’t have a lot when we were growing up. But one of my earliest memories was when my parents took my twin brother and I for a Disneyland vacation for our 4th, birthday. It was the only vacation we had as a family that wasn’t camping in the woods! I’ve been as an adult a few times sinceand it brings back those special memories each time! 💕 I was able to bring my own children when they were little. Walking through the gates with them for the first time at night with the music and lights brought tears to my eyes as we got to re-experience the park through them. I’m coming back for my 50th birthday next spring!

When I was a kid, I didn't see my dad much because he was working 12 hour days to support us, but every Saturday morning, I would wake up and run downstairs and we would watch a Disney movie together. It was the best part of my whole childhood.

I am from New Zealand, so Disneyland is a long way for us to visit. As a family our only exposure to Disney was watching Disney's Sunday night movies as we didn't travel overseas, that was too expensive when we were growing up. It was always somewhere I wanted to visit and ten years ago I brought my family to Disneyland and loved it. In 24 days (not that I am counting) we are coming back with our youngest child who doesn't remember it from ten years ago. We are all really looking forward to it. I love your video's, as some one that only gets to Disneyland rarely they are a valuable source of information.

My parents took me to Disneyland for my birthday 3 years in a row. I was born 2 days after Christmas. So for my 12th, 13th, and 14th birthdays, we went to Disneyland. It was so great. This was before it was popular to go to Disneyland for Christmas. On rainy, drizzly, foggy days, it was like we had the park to ourselves. We would ride all our favorite rides over and over again. It still makes me smile thinking about those times.

My husband took me to Disneyland on one of our first dates. There is something special about falling in love there. We have been married over 40 years. Our health and mobility doesn’t allow us to have yearly passes anymore, so we really enjoy your videos.

Going to Disneyland as a child with my parents was a disaster. Later as an adult going with my wife and now with our daughter I love the park. It's such a great escape for us . Especially for me as a Paramedic for the last 25 years it's a break from reality and stress.

I’m a second generation Cast Member(former now). My dad worked at Disneyland in the 1960’s and I worked at Disneyland and DCA in the late 2000’s. My dad grew up in LA and was fortunate enough to see DL open. My love stemmed from being fortunate enough to start my childhood in LA and how many times I got to go to DL in the 80’s. After we moved away we still went regularly and were AP holders. I wanted to be a cast member since I was a kid and I moved back to live my dream. I had to leave Orange County but it was the best work experience ever!!!

My father was in the military and gone a lot when we were kids, but when he happened to be home on a Sunday evening, the whole family got together and watched the Wonderful World of Disney. When he retired in 1976, they took the family to Disneyworld. I'll never forget the rainy day at Magic Kingdom when my parents let me, 12, and my brother, 14, go alone to ride rides while they relaxed in a restaurant. We ran from ride to ride, and to this day, that was the best fun I have ever had at Disney. I have given that Disney love to my 2 children who, when asked where they want to go on vacation, always say "to Disney" and they are both in their 20's

I didn’t grow up with Disney. Never had the opportunity to go as a child. My first time going was in 2013 with my husband and 3 small children. I fell in love. I have passed on my love to them. We have been back to Disneyland 5 times. My daughter even had the opportunity to dance in the parade this past summer. That brought tears and joy to my heart and soul. We have been to Walt Disney world twice and two Disney cruises. I love how we can all enjoy the Disney experience together and still have our own moments as well. I love seeing the park through my children’s eyes. It melts my heart. ❤️

I first visited the Magic Kingdom in Disney World in 1977 on my honeymoon with my lovely bride. I'm 70 years old now, and everytime we walk through the gates with my still lovely bride I'm that young man all over again.

I remember crying on the carousel as a little, tiny kid. I remember taking my little guy when he was only four and our infant daughter, when the Enchanted Tiki Room came to life, my little guy got up from his seat and shouted TIKI ROOM!!!! and the audience laughed and adored him for his moment of wonder and excitement, I will never forget that.

The Disney magic was passed on to me by my parents even though they are not fans. But since I was a little kid they used to take me to Disneyland and bought me several VHS of the renaissance period. Since then, I started going back to Disneyland when I finished medical school. Recently, I have passed the magic of visiting the DLR to my girlfriend that is a huge Mickey Mouse fan. We just visited for out first Holiday season and it was beautiful beyond words.

Eating breakfast at Goofy’s kitchen warms my heart so much because it brings back such great memories of when my children were little and they were so excited to be at Disneyland. Loved the interaction with the characters too, especially Cruella de Vil!

I’m 44, and last year I got diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve spent my whole life feeling like I didn’t belong/something was off. I’ve never felt that at Disney; I’ve always felt like I fitted in. I asked my husband why he likes Disney and he said “I just like going with you”. So now I’m crying into my cornflakes 😍❤️.

My Aunt worked at Disneyland and took me often when i was young. She was able to get me into backstage areas that instead of ruining the magic made me appreciate it more. She has been a second mother to me and instilled in me a love for Disney; especially for the smaller details.

As a kid, my family would always watch "The Wonderful World of Disney " on Sunday evenings, but what really sold me on Disney was in 2000, we took our kids to Disneyland. My youngest was 4 years old, and we were walking down Main Street. We saw Tigger inside the Plaza Inn, and I pointed him out to my son. Tigger stopped what he was doing and looked out the window and waved at my child. It made the morning magical, and it is still one of our favorite memories as a family.

Disney to me means that no matter how old I am, I’m always a child at heart. This is how I feel every time I’m at a Disney Park and happy that I get to share this feeling with my daughters and soon, my grandson.

Disney reminds me of my grandma. She took me on one of my birthday’s back in the 90’s and I fell in love with it ever since. I just went again this year in April, and when I visit I go immediately to the two rides she loved - pirates and haunted mansion 🥹💕✨I miss her so much. When I go I feel like I’m honoring her and continuing the traditions of attending Disneyland in our family 🥰💕🥹😭💕

My grandma used to live in brandton Florida, and when i was two we went down to see her. Now i don't remember this but we went to the Magic Kingdom and as we were leaving, i didn't want to leave so i started crying. Dad said that i cried all the way to the boat that takes you across the lagoon. He said that once it started moving, i fell asleep on his shoulder. It was then that i started my love for Disney. We would vacation there almost every spring break from when i got in Middle School. Last year we took my kids for there first time, and i got that same feeling as when Dad told me about the boat ride. Seeing the smile on their faces just made me remember what dad told me about my first time. And i hope that we go back many more times. You know that in the end, when we move on from this world. Its the memories that others have of you that will last. I just want to make those memories happy ones, filled with love and excitement. Love what you do, hope you have the greatest holiday season.

I had been seriously abused and even moved from foster home to foster home all the time. I can’t think of being very happy as a child. Shortly after my 14th birthday after many hours of working to raise money with my cousin. Her dad worked for TWA, they got free travel. He managed to get me 50% off the ticket, their part of the family helped with garage sales and we aside from a lot of hard work were active in the livestock part of the local county fair. We won money from entries. It was my first time flying and we had to stop in pheonix starting in Kansas City Missouri, for a visit with family in Arizona. When we continued the trip to Los Angeles flights it just got more exciting. We stayed in a motel near the park. My cousin and I were given our ticket books after paying a very small park entrance fee. I was in awe having never experienced this before. I immediately fell in love with Disneyland. To me it was magical. I loved the matterhorn, the ride in the things you could ride across the park on a cable in, and so much more. It was my inspiration and when I was older I helped bring that experience to a lot of people who had never experienced it before at my own expense because I wanted to share the excitement and magic of Disneyland.

Came to Disneyland for the first time in 89’ (I was a little girl) and to this day I remember how magical everything was! I would return every year with my family and every time it just had all the feels. I then found a fascination for the amazing man behind it all and my love grew even more. Now I go with my husband and son (named after Walt) every year for our vacation and it’s HOME ❤

I fell in love with Disneyland during my college years. I already had fond memories of going a few times as a kid. Then, I was able to get a season pass while at school at LBSU. I went to counseling for a few years. My counselor was located down Katella halfway between my apartment in Long Beach and Disneyland. After a session, I would continue on to Disneyland and hang out for a bit. No matter how I was feeling going into Disneyland, I always felt happy, and my heart felt fuller when I'd leave the park. People watching, the magic of Disney, or the Cast Members, something always stuck with me. I still feel the special essence and healing happiness of Disney every time I go even 25 years later.

I read many comments before writing my own. I too grew up in 60’s. My early life was in Bakersfield and in winter the sun would not shine. My folks loved driving to Anaheim to get some sun. Disneyland was so magic and my dad had me convinced that everything was real. Now I pass that love on to my grandkids.

My parents took my sister and I to Disneyland once or twice a year in the 60’s, we lived in Southern California. We watched Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color every Sunday night. Disneyland was magical then and still is today. We moved away from California in 1970 so our Disneyland trips ended but the magic stayed with me and my sister. We were only able to go a couple of times as time passed. Now we’re both grandparents and the magic has been passed down to our kids and grandkids. When I retired in 2019 we were able to take all of my kids, grandkids, my sisters grandkids to Disneyland and DCA for the greatest trip ever. We haven’t been able to get everyone together again at once but we’ve all been back several times since 2019 & have a graduation trip for one of the grandkids coming up this summer. I’m 62 years old and have lived within driving distance from Disneyland my entire life. I have pictures with my parents by the Mark Twain when I was four years old. Raised my children who are now all grown and are Disney fans also. We used to take them and even stayed at the hotel for Christmas back in the 1990’s! Feel sorry for those parents who can’t afford it nowadays. Since retirement my wife and I have been season pass holders and live the magic still! We traveled to Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea this year. Used your guide videos which was a great help!

I have said it for years... It's the cast members. From the person sweeping and cleaning, to the food server, to the ride operator, to the actor in the character costume. My first time to the park was when I was about 10. That would make it 1977. We were in and out in one day and I didn't think that much about it. Fast forward to the first time I took my family, maybe 1999. We happened upon The Evil Queen in Fantasy Land and I was blown away. She was so on and so present with my kids. My whole perspective of the park changed. Now I go as often as I can and I focus on the cast members. I want to interact with all of them. Thanks to all the cast members who make the real magic happen.

I grew up watching Sunday night World of Disney and dreamed of one day going to Disneyland. I was an adult when I was finally able to go, and we went January 2013 (the tail end of Disney Christmas) with my husband and 6 year old son. We all felt the disney magic and my love for all things disney began. On that trip my son insisted on making a wish at the castle, and we stopped to take it all in and I made a wish that our family would soon be complete (many years of fertility issues). A complete shock to us, I gave birth to our daughter that same year in December 2013 She is my disney wish come true. Disney magic!! And this past summer she danced in the Disneyland parade and we completed our 4th trip. ♡

When I was 5 years old, my dad was working on building Disneyland one day, and he took us there to show us. we drove the car right up to the castle. We'll my wife and I spent part of our honeymoon at Disneyland in June 1971. We're still together, and now we live in Nampa, Idaho, and go to Disneyland once a year. I loved Disney as a child . But now that I am an adult I appreciate it even more. I am an RN and healthcare stress is a lot , life stress is a lot for everyone . But Disney provides such a contrast ; it is light and fun and sweet and lovely . When you pass under the sign on the overpass . Really nothing else matters for those few hours except smiling . My dad was a huge Disney fan. We could only afford two trips to Disneyland when I was growing up, but it stayed with me. The last time I went to Disneyland with my dad, he was in his 70s. He was such a trooper, and kept up with me and my sisters and our families. We have so many stories and fond memories of that trip.

I was born in 1959. Disneyland was one of the first family vacations I remember. We only went once or twice as a family. In HS my marching band performed at Disney!! I have taken my family many (many) times and have passed my love of Disney on to my daughters, especially my youngest! I love it when I walk onto Main Street and hear the sounds and music. I just feel happy!!

As a kid, I always wanted to go to Disneyland and got to go a couple of times. However, my love of Disney exploded when my wife and I got married. Her parents were huge Disney fans and had a DVC membership. Now I just absolutely love the Disney parks and just wish I had enough money to go more often than just once every 3-4 years.

Disney is one of the places where I am completely relaxed. It’s comparable to sitting on a beach or a mountain top. All the cares and worries of the world disappear and you are in the moment entirely. No matter how hot or crowded, it feels like home. That’s my Disney Magic.

My grandma took me to DL every spring break (we lived, still live, in NorCal) from age 6 (1969) to 12. The rest of the family were not fans. In fact, after my grandma passed I mentioned that she loved Disneyland and grandpa replied “that was just for you.” I think he didn’t want her to seem unserious. But I absolutely beg to differ. She clearly loved the park, went on all the dark rides with me, and sometimes she sat on a bench and let me roam. (Esp Tom Sawyer’s Island, my favorite place on earth.) She loved Carousel of Progress the best. She was a lady of her time, and I was a hippie child from Berkeley, so later on we had our moment or two, but we had the most lovely memorable days in Disneyland together. She simply gifted me my favorite memories, of ever, and when I go to the parks now I still feel she’s there with me in a lovely way. Years later I started taking my kids, and fell in love again. (Grandma was so strongly present there at first, breathtaking) Our oldest can’t take the crowds, and my husband is not a big fan (though he took his high school show choirs for a decade - SO fun for me and my younger daughter to tag along) but he has promised to go with me to an international park, wherever we get to first, Paris or Tokyo, so we’ll see! Met you, Chris, in DCA in Nov 2022, with my younger daughter. A lovely moment, and a great photo, I’ll never forget it. You’re my fave DL vlogger, almost never miss a vid. I live Disney so much because i grew up very poor and never went as a kid. I now go to Disneyland several times a year. I simply love the feeling i get when there. As a middle-aged man, I love taking my family often, and i love that i always feel like a kid again when im at Disney.

I didn’t grow up with a love of Disney, but have always loved the movies and the princesses. My sister has been a Disney adult for YEARS! 😂. I went to Disney world as an adult and my love for all things Disney has grown. My favorite memory is when my two oldest children met Mickey for the first time. It made my momma heart explode with joy🥰🥰

My Disney magic started early! I'm a kid of the 80s, and I have always loved the magic of Disney. I had the posters, I even had the Bambi jeans that I wore till I absolutely grew out of them. Being a child of divorced and a military kid, Disney was the one thing constant and safe that I escape to. That and I sing like all the Disney princess 😊.

My mom started going to Disneyland for her birthday, November 1955. She has continued the tradition almost every year since. Which has transitioned into a family tradition. My sister and I have both been CMs as well as our husbands. My sister and bil met as CMs. My bil is still a CM, and now my youngest niece is as well. Disneyland literally means family to me.

For me it is magic because when I was a child, it was impossible for my family. Living in South America, barely making ends meet my dad couldn't afford it. Now that I live here, it was about time to take my daughter there, so this last Spring Break we drove to Orlando and made my dad's dream become a reality. Seeing the fireworks with my kid was one of the most emotional monents of my life.

For me I fell hard at Grad Nite 44 years ago. Then I took my mom, who had never been (long story but her mom took her two siblings and left her home when she was young because she had a paper route). Then I took my nonverbal daughter with physical and intellectual delays when she was 3, she LIT up. That started us going at least every two years, if not every year. The only place she just laughs and smiles the whole time. I LOVE Disney because it is just a happy place. She is now 25 and still her happiest place to be! We are now Magic Key holders.

In 2005, we took our then 4 year old to WDW. He was in amazement the entire time. My recollection of him on the pool slide at Saratoga Springs Resort was extraordinary. He “cackled” laughing while he was sliding literally for hours. We go back to WDW as often as we can, but that first visit with him exuding pure joy will be in my heart the rest of my life!

Well, at age 66, I still believe in princesses, and flying elephants. My favorite memory would have to be sitting on a bench at night in front of the castle watching the Dream Lights and listening to the Christmas music playing softly, it was so beautiful and to myself I thanked Walt and all who helped build such a magical place...

I grew up with Disney in the 80's and 90's. I loved all the movies! We visited Disneyland when I was really young, and Disneyworld a few times when I was older and can remember. I've always thoroughly enjoyed going to the parks. Now as an adult I enjoy them even more. Seeing my kid's reactions brings joy to me. Watching my husband go to Disney World for the first time in his life was an experience!. He never travelled a lot and seeing his childlike awe was a memory for my entire family. Now he indulges me and my practically yearly trips to the parks. Especially now while my children are younger. We regularly watch the movies at home, as well as some of the documentaries on Disney+.

I grew up on the original Disney cartoons with Mickey and the gang back in the 80s. I didn’t have the happiest home, but I always felt safe with Disney. Disney movies, Disney original cartoons, anything Disney made me feel like everything was going to be OK. When I go to Disneyland now as an adult, I feel like I’m home and it’s just the most magical, happy place I could ever be in. I feel like I get my childhood back when I go and I just love how clean and well thought out it is. I love Casey Junior’s Train! It’s one of my favorite rides along with the Matterhorn. With Casey Juniors Train, I love the sound of the track beneath you. I love seeing the view from the Matterhorn. That’s why it’s so magical. When you’re at a Disney park, or watching something Disney, you just get to be a kid again, no matter your age. Disney is accepting of all people, cultures, backgrounds, views, and they just see the good in every person, and don’t judge anyone for their lifestyle. They just accept everybody in as a child of any age.

My fondest childhood memories are ladened with Disney. From gathering around the TV as a family to watch a Wonderful World of Disney to my Dad surprising us with an impromptu trip to Disneyland (we lived in San Diego) and spending the night at the Little Boy Blue motel...and then as a grown up asking my nieces and nephews on their 1st trip to Disney, my life is full of Disney memories. My husband and I even spent part of our honeymoon at Disneyland as an homage to my parents honeymooning at Disneyland in 1967. It's truly a magical place!!

I grew up going to Disneyland every year. I also get nostalgic and feel the presence of my Nana and Papa because I always went with them. Disneyland just seems more magical now as an adult for some reason. I love sharing the magic of Disney with my husband and niece. I will still keep going to Disneyland as long as I can no matter how old I am!

I thought my love of Disney started when I got my first annual pass at 19 and was able to go to the park and just walk around enjoying the railroad, walking around Main Street and watching the window decorations, or listening to the Disneyland band or the Dapper Dans or any of the other entertainment around the lands. However, 10 years ago, I got in contact with a friend from my childhood in Argentina and she sent me a photo of my first trip to Disneyland at age 6 with a note in the back from my Mother that said "Nick living out his dreams." As it turns out, I have always had a love of Disneyland, my Parents just didn't have the opportunity to take me very often during my childhood. Disney will always be my comfort and my happy place.

Many years ago, waiting in the ticket line before the park opening, while my wife and son were still napping in the car a few yards away, back when the parking lot was still out in front of Disneyland. I remember thinking to myself "Oh, so this is what it feels like to be an adult!". It's a sweet, beautiful memory for me.

Disneyland has a place in my heart because my mom loved Disneyland. She was able to go in 1955. I went in my childhood and I went as an adult and became an annual passholder. Our family took her to Disneyland one more time before she passed in 2005. Disneyland will always hold special memories for me.

My love for Disney started with my parents. I like to say that I work so that I can give my a dog a happy life and so that I can go to Disneyland with my husband and/or my family. I was born a year before Disneyland opened and grew up visiting the park from about 5 years old and still go now that I am almost 70. I remember Frontierland the most. Loved the mule ride and the Indians the best. I also remember the mermaids in the lagoon of the submarine ride and the motor boats near by. My father enjoyed Disneyland as much as I did and I remember his joy when we would visit. I have passed on my love of all things Disney to my husband, children, their spouses, and my grands. Thank you Uncle Walt as we called him for sharing his special place with all of us.

My love for Disney was inherited, but my passion was created by cast members as a child. I have so many fond memories of going to Disneyland and magic being made by cast. When I was young I had a security guard seeing I was looking all over the ground for a hidden Mickey by the big metal sun DCA used to have, this guard came over helped me find the hidden Mickey and then proceeded to show me more all over the area. I told him my book didn’t have half of them and how happy I was! He told me to write the author and to always ask cast members their favorite hidden mickeys and I would find loads of secrets! Little did this guard know he set a spark in me. I wrote the author and got recognition for these Mickeys he showed me. I felt forever grateful for him and it lit the flame to be like him and become a cast member. Thanks to this amazing man, I got to work 9 amazing years with The Disney Company before my health took a turn. I wish I would have been able to tell this cast member how much he impacted my life and how grateful I was. He probably didn’t even think it was a big deal, but he is one of my core Disney memories! ❤

I grew up going to Disneyland every summer with Family. Then as a teenager I would go on the weekends after 6pm to dance in the now Toon Town area. That led to more visits to Disneyland to enjoy the rides. I got married and had kids and began taking my little's to Disneyland from the time they where babies. I have great pictures of them. As my kids became young adults we would go to the park together ( by this time we all had annual passes.) It was great family time , often the relaxed atmosphere would allow my kids open up their hearts to me about what was really going on in their minds and lives. Now I am a grand parent and my husband and I are enjoying seeing Disneyland through a new generation's little eyes. So much fun. So many happy memories, I can't narrow down one exact experience, but when I think of Disneyland I think of the rides, great food, amazing smells and my sometimes sore feet & happy smiles.

As a child, my parents brought me to Disney every other year. It was always magical because we were always happy together, and my father, who worked so hard, was always present physically and mentally.❤

I have way too many wonderful memories to choose just one, but I can tell you something my husband did to make sure Disneyland will always be extra special for me. He purchased a brick with our names on it that sits between Disneyland and CA Adventure. It's the first place we go before going into the park. Having a piece of me that never leaves Disneyland is the best feeling, especially when I'm missing it, or our trips are too far apart. Chris, I hope you and your family have the most amazing holiday. I was able to make so many fond memories with my mom at Disneyland before she passed. Her favorite ride was Peter Pan. We went to Disneyland to celebrate her memory, and had the most wonderful interaction with a cast member at Carnation Cafe. She was our hostess and had asked about our visit buttons, and we explained the reason for our visit. She got a little choked up as we spoke. Before we wrapped up our meal she asked us to flag her down before we left. We did so, and she asked if she could escort us onto my mom’s favorite ride. She walked us up to the ride and at the moment she turned and gave me a final smile, I asked if I could please give her a hug. She happily agreed through tears. We are friends on Facebook. Pixie dusted and all.. I consider her an angel.

Every Sunday night when I was a little girl, we would watch the Wonderful World of Disney. I was a sickly child, so I had a lot of medical treatments. My Mama would do the voices of various Disney characters to distract me when something hurt. I never had the chance to go to any of the parks when I was a kid, but my husband took me as an adult. I fell in love. When I saw Cinderella Castle, I cried because I saw the real window on the castle where the light went out at the end of every WWOD episode. I’m tearing up just remembering. We were lucky enough to have annual passes to the Orlando parks for over a decade before COVID. Disney is my heart. It always will be and I passed that love on to my kids. Thank you for your videos. They remind me of how much I love it. Hopefully we’ll be able to go back in 2024.

I love Disney parks because they marked my adolescence. I live in Rio de Janeiro. From 1990 to 1994 I went to Disney World many times. I won't forget that I burst into tears when I left Magick. At night. Playing when you wish upon star at the shitty ferry docks. 😢I miss this place. The magic, the environment. Everything is wonderful. I thank God every day for giving me this opportunity. I'm 51 and live in Washington state but I've grown up with Disneyland going every summer as a kid. I was lucky my Mom and my grandmother and aunts and uncles all loved it. So many memories. I've had family who have worked there too. I started taking My son every year or 2 since 2001. Now he's 27 and we are coming back in March!! 😊 I can't wait to try that sandwich!!

I’m 68 years old and I remember in the 60s going to Disneyland with my family it was so magical and since then I have taken my three kids when they where young and everyone had the same tee shirts on so we could find one another remember this is before cell phones. I grow up with Disney and always wanted to go there but from the uk it was a once in a lifetime experience, when I got married my wife’s dream was to go to Disney, we went to to Disney world in 1990 and was blown away , and said we must go to the original and we did on are 25 anniversary, and we loved it , there is no feeling like the one you get when you first see the castle, we❤Disney.

I’m 62 and my parents took me to Disneyland the first time when I was a tiny baby. My dad had a heart condition and couldn’t walk a lot, so they had a wheel chair. People would stare as when my mom got really tired (carrying a baby) so they would switch! He passed when I was 5 but that story stayed with me. My wonderful husband has taken us (one kid, a daughter) many times to Disneyland, even for our honeymoon and also her senior trip. My dream was to someday be a grandma and take the whole family to Disneyland. We have 3 grandchildren and dreams can come true and we have been twice together as a big family! ❤

I was five the first time I went to Disneyland. I remember riding Casey’s train. I think I’ve love Disneyland because I loved watching The Wonderful World of Disney on TV as a child. That show along with the many Mickey Mouse Clubs really instilled a love for all thing Disney. I told my children for the first time when they were 2 and 4. There is NOTHING like seeing Disneyland through a child’s eyes! I am also a crazy, crazy Star Wars fan and when Disney made Star Tours it was a mind blowing event. That is until I went this past August and saw Star Wars Land for the first time. I cried when I rode the Rise of the Resistance. That trip was the most magical time I have experienced at Disneyland. My husband I and went to Disneyworld 32 years ago. Although I enjoyed some of the trip, nothing is as wonderful as Disneyland. I started watching your channel a few months before my Aug trip. I’ve really grown to love you and your family. Thanks for doing so much research and sharing your life with me. Someday I hope to meet you all in person. Until then, YOU need to remember how special you are and that just being you brings so much joy into our lives.

My whole family grew up in So Cal. My aunt was the one who took me to Disney, for any reason imaginable (yay for the 90s! lol). My aunt was already a big Disney nerd and had loved it entirely. She was very heartbroken when she decided to move to Utah (we all moved) and she hasnt gone back to Disneyland since 2004. I went back once in 2006. Then years later I found this lovely channel, PPP. I watched it frequently on my own and decided to share it with my aunt as well. She loves Provost Park Pass because it feels like getting to see a place she feels is home and see some as excited about the park as she is. This past year, I got to return home and share my love Disneyland with my wife and daughter, neither have been before, to celebrate the kid's 10th birthday. My wife talks non stop about going and the kid was happy there and now idk how she feels back at home.

I love Disney because of memories growing up with my Mom. We watched the Wide World of Disney together every week and in the summer, she bought me Disney magazines that were sold through Gulf stations. I was fascinated by all things Disneyland, I remember the article about cleaning up gum! We never went to Disneyland but Mom, Grandma, and I went to the NY World's Fair and I saw Mr. LIncoln, Small World, the dinosaurs, and the Carousol of Progress. I got three souvenirs-an embroidered Peter Pan hat, a pennant that had candy in its hollow flag pole, and an extruded wax dinosaur. I've been to Disneyland quite a few times and I have four days reserved in April! and I'll remember Mom when I ride Small World. Thanks, Chris.

For me. I just like disney parks and visiting theme parks like the dutch Efteling. Because i was extremly bullied and did not have a great time as a kid. But like you always say. Things do get better! I love visiting these parks alone or with my wife and kids. And enjoy how they enjoy. Feeling like a kid again. Feeling positive energy. So i can charge my emotional battery and do my best in daily life. The first time i visited a disney themepark i was 17. And it just made me feel better after all the hard and bad times. And gave me a relief inside. And my grand dad noticed that. And let me promise i would visit a themepark at least once a year if i could. Because it made me smile

Disneyland is important to me because of the memories I made there with my mom. My mom worked as a cast member from 1979 to 1989. Then she had me in 1995. And just 3 months later she took me to Disneyland for the first time. And my whole childhood we would go to Disney about 5 times a year. I loved spending that time there with my mom as well as learning the history of Disney and the parks. Almost all of my book reports in school were about Walt and the parks. My mom and I went to the parks together multiple times a year from the time I was 3 months old up until I turned 28! Very sadly my mom passed away this year. I still go to the parks about every 2 weeks and everywhere I look I have memories of her! And that makes me very happy that I have a place to go remember her. A place where I have countless memories of her and I together. And that’s one of the main reasons I love Disneyland! Love your channel and positive messages to the world! When I was in the 3rd grade my parents said we were going to Disneyland in the summer and I was soooo excited but it never happened so my freshman year in college myself and 3 of my friends took my 72 nova for a road trip from Montana to Disneyland for Spring Break and loved it. I brought my son there when he was 5 years old for the first time and we’ve been back 5 more times and another trip the end of June to make 7. He’s 13 now and that’s where he always wants to go for vacation. We go for 10 days in the park, most people think we’re crazy including my wife who chooses to stay home cuz she says that’s too much 😂. She went the last 2 years on our 10 day Disney trips and opted out this year. I just love seeing the joy in my son when we go to Disneyland it’s priceless!

Hi Chris, my love for Disney has been around since I was a young child (3 years old was when I took my first trip with my grandparents and aunts.) My grandpa passed his love of Disney onto me. I remember watching the classic Mickey cartoons (like through the looking glass) and of course the classic Princess movies and the renaissance era movies. I’ve been obsessed ever since. My love for Disney has grown even more since my grandpa passed in 2016 and I’ve just not ever wanted to let go of that love!

I was introduced to Disney by my cousins when my family immigrated to the US. I was in love, and I passed the love down to my daughter. We are fanatics. ❤

I love everything Disney because it reminds me of my mom and my family. I have been going since I was 2 years old I am 67 now. I grew up going to Disneyland watching wonderful world of Disney. Took my husband to Disneyland for his first ever visit he is a big fan just like I am. My daughter is a Disneyland fan as well as my grandkids. It brings warm and precious memories. As a child, I always dreamed of visiting Walt Disney World. When I got married I told my husband I always wanted to go there so we went there for our honeymoon. Guess what happened? It was more magical than I could have ever imagined. We tried to return every 2 years for the first decade or so. We now have 6 children. Our 2 oldest daughters love Disney, like I do. My oldest daughter even worked at the Canada pavilion in Epcot before she started working as a singer and dancer for Carnival Cruises. I LOVE every time I can visit a Disney park. In April/May 2023, I visited Disneyland for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday. I feel in love with Disneyland! I'm planning to go every year now for my birthday 😊. In September 2023, I was able to share my love of WDW with my youngest daughter. We even met you Chris at Disney Studios!! ❤ Now she's a huge fan too! I am really hoping she can come with me to Disneyland April/May 2024. Hope to see you there! 😊

Disneyland was the only family trip where dad didn’t lose his temper and ruin the trip. It was where my Marine buddies and I would go when we got back from every deployment. It is my happy place.

My Grandma was in a Japanese women’s club and they went every year and she would take my sister and I. It was some of the best memories I had as a kid. Going now as an adult rekindles those memories and feelings for me.

Please don't worry about the walk and talk videos, it is wonderful to feel like we are walking the park with you. I love Disney because they are welcoming to everyone and children (of all ages!) especially for those with disabilities or other personal challenges have the opportunity to leave their lives outside the park at the gate and enjoy the experience. I have found that adults really look forward to vacations and such, but we don't really consider that kids need breaks too. To me, Disney is one of the best examples of dedication to the best of humanity. I could keep babbling on about how we each need the cognitive break from reality, but I will stop here.

I had to grow up in a hurry due to parent's divorce and other life things, but trips to disneyland with my mom and extended family are some of my strongest core memories. This last christmas my wife had a collage of photos of us together made. She remarked that the photos where I am really, really smiling and beaming is from our trips to Disneyland.

I went at about 18 months old in 1955 and have loved ever since, will be going in about 2 weeks for my 70th birthday with my ohana 😊🎉. We always blow a kiss up to Walt's window. ❤

When I was little my family would go to Disneyland once a year and I remember how special I felt and how magical Disneyland was to me. I remember watching the wonderful world of Disney! As a child it was on Sunday nights. Going to the Disney movies The computer wore tennis shoes, Davy Crockett I begged my parents to go to Disneyland. I finally went to Disney World when I was 40 it truly is the happiest place on earth!

I'm a Disney adult along with my wife. We didn't grow up in families that could afford to go to Disneyland. We have enjoyed Disney movies, they really haven't started to go awry with movies until the last half decade or so. Anyways went to Disneyland California this last year for the first time. Loved it! Loved it for 4 days. And so will be going to Disneyland Paris soon. It really feels great being there, it's the happiest place on Earth for a reason.

Disneyland is my happy place. Every time I go to Disneyland, I feel a sense of nostalgia. When I march down Main Street, it warms my heart & it takes me back when I was a kid & I feel safe there.

My love of Disney is all down to my grandmother, we were not rich neither were we poor, but she always was able to take us kids at least once a year if not twice when she could. Although she's passed on Disney Land will always hold that special place in my heart.

I got a little behind in my viewing with the holidays! My dad loved Disney. When I was 4 he had me watch “The wonderful World of Walt Disney” and I was hooked! I think he tried with my 4 older siblings, but they were kind of neutral. But with me he had a willing partner. We loved anything about Disneyland. The first time he went to CA to visit my sister, she took my parents to Disneyland and he came home and told me (then 12) all about it. I grew up, got married, went to Disney the 1st time age 20 while pregnant with my son….who was of course a Disney baby who married a Disney girl, and is now a Disney dad with his own 2 Disney kids! My dad passed 12 years ago and anytime I walk into a Disney park, I get misty missing my first Disney partner. The only and best way to describe Disney is just - MAGICAL!

My wife is who passed the Disney magic to me. When we were still dating (together for 13 years, thus far), we started to spend time at Downtown Disney around 2014 or so. We’d always say we’d eventually have dates in the park when we could afford it. The time finally came when we got Magic Keys when they came out, and we started spending as much time as we could there. It wasn’t often, since we had to wake up EARLY to make the drive to OC and hit rope drop, but almost every Disney day was a magical one and well worth the drive. We developed a tradition of sharing a black coffee and eating Costco or Quest protein bars (gym rats here!) by Walt’s statue and looking at all the people walking by, the horses, and the incredible castle. This was after knocking out Haunted Mansion, Star Tours, and Pirates after rope dropping. Each of those moments is my favorite memory. We spent our wedding anniversary at the park twice and our birthdays. The park just holds a lot of great memories for us - walking around, hitting Star Tours, the turkey sandwich at Jolly Holiday, and so much more. Disney became our happy place and escape from the craziness around the world. Though we didn’t renew our keys this time around, we’re looking forward to making more beautiful memories there in the future and sharing them with our first little one who’s on the way. 🖤 We watch your videos ALL the time, especially when we’re really missing Disney - which is OFTEN - and are very grateful for you and your wonderful positivity. 🪄✨

Grew up on Disney and loved the Jungle Cruise, Autopia, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Grew up and married my wife who was a WDW fan who took me there for my first time in 2016. Will never forget the feeling of being in each park for the first time.

My first trip to Disneyland was at 5 years old in 1975 and continue to visit ever since! I grew up on the Mickey Mouse Club and Sunday night World of Disney movies. I’ve gone with family, extended family, school trips, girlfriends and now with my own family. And 2 my girls LOVE Disney too, their first trip was at 3 years old and 1 year old. The magic we feel as soon as walking on property always brings us to tears ❤. We’ve come to love the sights, sounds, food and everything else. Can’t wait to go again in a couple of months!

Honestly I love Disney so much because it’s the only thing that allows me to continuously act like a kid and not be judged by others because deep down, when it comes to Disney, we are all kids. It also has no matter what, put a smile on my face even in my dark times. If I have some hard times, I go straight to Disney. It’s my home away from home

As a kid I was blessed to be able to go to Disneyland just about every year. The moment that Disney became something more than just a theme park was one particular time my family surprised me with a trip. I grew up in a broken home and I would spend two weeks in the summer with my father. One summer was not good and hard on me. I called my mom and my papa and told them that I want to come home. That next day they picked me up and not telling me took me to Disneyland. While on that trip we watched Fantasmic and I remember as a child watching Sorcerer Mickey on Tom Sawyers island dancing and conjuring up his magic. Ever since then, Disneyland became my home away from home. The place that I could escape and know that everything will be ok. My papa also instilled in me my love for Disney, he passed away 2 years ago and I think of him every time I go to Disneyland now. As luck would have it I ended working in Disneyland in 2014 and met my wife a few years later who happened to work is Disney world at one time. We are a big Disney family now. Love your content! I first went to Disneyland in '82 aged 11. Growing up in Australia in the 70s I barely registered that DL existed. I immediately fell in love. (Especially Pirates). Since then I visited while on army exercise in '89. When my future Anerican wife took me to WDW I knew she was a keeper. In the past 41 years I've been to DL 3 times and WDW 3 times, (including a 2 week / "once in a lifetime" trip in 2008 with the kids), which is a huge effort from Oz. We are currently planning our next trip in 2025. Your videos help get me through the years between visits. Thank you.

My Disney appreciation comes from my father. In saying this, my appreciation grew by learning more about Walt and Roy the struggles and triunphs that they had to create a unique company. Walts venture in movie production, themed entertainment and city planning is near and dear to my heart.
