Hi Chris! I want you to know that you helped me to accomplish one of my Disney Dreams! My family and I regularly watch several of the Disney vloggers. We had planned to go to Disneyland in November to celebrate my birthday, but I wasn't able to take the time off, so we decided to go in October. I've always dreamed of being able to see one of our favorite vloggers recording live in the parks. In the segment where you just finished talking about the fire insurance plaques in New Orleans Square, we were just emerging into the street that you were heading out of. I looked up, and there you were! I am the lady in the brown dress and blue headband waving at you, and that is my family with me; the tall man in the red plaid shirt, and the blond lady in the grey sweatshirt! I just wanted to say that you and your family and your show are awesome, and thank you for helping me check something off my bucket list for my "birthday" trip to Disneyland!

Spot on about batuu! Maybe keep the characters separated by timelines but there’s enough of Batuu for everyone! Speeder bikes would be an awesome ride!!

Secrets revealed are some of my favourite content that you produce but I would also be interested in hearing about what your favourite "small" parts/aspects of Disneyland / DCA are. For example, you might have a certain corner of each land that speaks to you because of the music, the sight lines, the greenery, etc. I would be very interested in hearing from Amanda and Miles as well! It's so easy to say what your favourite ride is but there are these little details that never get mentioned. For myself, there is a railing just outside of Big Thunder Mountain that is one of my favourite parts of the park because I rested there with my Dad on the last trip he made Disneyland. Anyway, just a suggestion! Thank you for all that you do and for just being you.

Chris I absolutely agree with you about dropping the time line for star wars. I think it would draw more people. I'm a star wars fan but honestly I don't have a big desire to go to Galaxy's edge I feel like there is little to do that isn't pay to play. It's super cool to see the work out into it, but after a couple visits I try to avoid it if possible.

Wouldn't it be great if you walked into a "modern" Dreadnaught Star Destroyer and as you walked through things changed and it became the Death Star. You could go from seeing Kylo Ren and his stormtroopers to seeing Darth Vader with his and Obi-wan and the original group would be walking through it!" Imagineers could have really shined, eh? Just another 10 milllion $ that's all.

You're not wrong at all. Disney spent tons of money to acquire all of Star Wars, so why are they hamstringing themselves with the timeline concept?!?! It makes no sense. And honestly, guests would absolutely love to see every iconic character in Galaxy's Edge.

how fun! i learned some new ones this time. omg, a speeder bike attraction would be amazing! also, i agree that all the star wars characters should walk around batuu (or some other planet). my fav star wars movies are the original three, but after that i adore rogue one. it’s a great story, amazingly produced and acted. it’s very cinematic, too. thanks, chris, for another great video. you are amazing!

A video so nice, you made it twice! The spikes on the poles in New Orleans Square under the balconies are called “Romeo Spikes” they are supposed to deter young suitors from climbing up into the windows.

Definitely! And if people are concerned about character timelines getting mixed up, they could just have a set of characters from each era that come out “on stage” at the same time and then change out. It would be so fun!

I think the set time period for Galaxies Edge was more important when they had plans for role-playing elements and games that would make you feel like you were actually a part of the universe. Since they scuttled those plans it is a restriction without a purpose.

Yeah the Disney play app was hyped up. You could join the first order or the resistance and do missions throughout the day. the cast members would comment on your deeds. A lot of that interactivity got sent over to the galactic starcruiser, and we all know what came of that.

You are the greatest tour guide. Finding bits and pieces of what Walt Disney thought while all the lands were being built. Main Street ... the flags on top of the buildings have missing stars and/or stripes. Flags would not have be taken down by the employees ever day.

I don't know if it's a secret or not but Star Tours in Tomorrowland was built around the old People Mover track. You can see the track end as it sets against the wall of Star Tours.

You really got the Galaxy’s Edge thing right. I’m a huge fan, but don’t love it over there that much. Mando and Grogu have made a wonderful difference, but I would LOSE MY MIND if I saw Darth Vader, Luke and Leia, Han Solo with Chewie. I might never leave. 🤩

Empire Strikes Back. Irvin Kershner understood how to tell a story through the human experience. For example. The script said that Han was supposed to say I love you too. Irvin told Harrison Ford that’s not what Han would say, you know ow the character just say what comes to mind. The first thing he said during the take was, I know. Best line ever. Because Irvin understood people. Superior storytelling 🤙

My favorite Star Wars movie is Empire Strikes Back because that movie came out the same year my son was born. When my son (Dylan) was a few months old my Mom babysat him so that my husband and I could go see the movie. I remember being nervous the entire time, worrying about Dylan (even though I knew he was in good hands with my Mom.) Thank you for all you do Chris. You are cherished by all your fans (me included!)

I still feel the Galactic Starcruiser should've been original trilogy themed, but then I guess maybe it wouldn't have worked with the Galaxy's Edge day/excursion. I would also love to see Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Han, C3PO.... all of them! Or, even the prequel characters/era would be great.

14:21 idk if anyones said this yet for the speeder bike attraction concept Chris is talking about but possible the same tech they use for flight of passage in animal kingdom? They could tweak it a bunch but I think the virtual reality of it would be able to make the attraction longer and they could really do a lot with it ❤

I think a DCA video would be amazing because each land in that park has evolved SO much since it opened. It would be fun to see what little tidbits remain and are there. I know you've done some cool ones about Buena Vista street before and I think about it every time I walk down the street now.

Chris, did you know that the entrance to Batuu tunnel. The lines running against the wall is supposed to represent when you go into Hyperdrive! Like in the movies, lightspeed!

YES!! to Darth Vader, Yoda & anybody else from the original 3 movies. I'm not really much of a Star Wars person; to me the best of Star Wars is the '77-'80-'83 trilogy; sacrilege, I'm sure, to most fans. My favorite Star Wars is the original one! I had the pleasure of watching it during the first week it opened, while on vacation with my parents. Saw it in the Rogers Theater in Decatur, Illinois. A strange coincidence was that the theater originally opened with 2 movies in 1937, and the star of one of those movies was Kenny Baker, who played R2-D2. Now to check and see if you've done one of these for DCA. If not, please do one.

Definitely agree in regards to Star Wars characters. Disney seems to be afraid to acknowledge any of the original characters, such as Lord Vader, it’s though they are afraid the public like the originals more than the post-Disney buyout films. They forget the SW fan base is built on these.

I agree with your wish about what they'd do with Batuu and there is canonical precedent for it. Darth Vader has gone to Batuu. Same with Padmé, Anakin, and Thrawn. People would lose their minds if those characters and yes Luke, Lea, Han all made appearances. They could a couple times a year to a "throw back" era say like for a month each where you have characters from the original trilogy, then another month you have characters from the prequals. That way still 10 months out of the year it's the current time frame, but for just those 2 months you the fans get something nice and cool. Would also probably drive tickets during the lower attendance seasons.

Chris, maybe they do a 4D ride with the speeder bikes where you race each other, that way you would not use as much space, and could offer different racetracks. Oh and the Roofing joke really did work. Ah Haaa!

I love that you are mentioning sound more and more! One of the coolest part of the parks and attractions! Just think how they manage that, specially with rides that can speed up/slow down/stop for guests. I'd love for you to discuss the park sounds more! I can spin some ideas if you want =)

Your speeder bike attraction is a great idea! Especially if they do 'head to head' racing of individual bikes, and not a big train of them.

When my mother worked there from the day it opened she was a pastel portrait artist on main Street and when you first went into main Street on the left on the corner was Wurlitzer company shop. The man who later became my stepfather worked there demonstrating piano and organ. His favorite was the pump organ

Yesterday I went to DL in So Cal and my wife and kids went on Buzz, I decided to hang back and went into the eatery area in Tomorrowland to sit down and relax and while walking over there I actually noticed there was Cilantro and Red Lettuce growing in the planters. This VLOG now ties that all up for me. :D
