Features I like about this Micro Radio Recorder:
Compact Size.
FM Reception Above Average.
FM Stereo on Headphones.
Onboard Speaker is Excellent for it's Size.
Microphone
Rechargeable.
Aux-In.
MP3/WMA Player, with Repeat Functions and Folder Navigation.
Numeric Keypad for Direct Entry of Stations, Presets, and Files.
Very Low Cost.
Pocket Friendly.
Record FM Stereo Radio, Aux-In, and Microphone.
Lock Function.
Mute Audio.
Fast Forward/Reverse during Single Track Playback.
Features that could be added or improved on:
Add Stereo to MP3 Playback.
Add More Bass for Headphone Use.
Make Battery Replaceable.
Remove Hiss from Recordings. (this can be done in most audio programs though)
Overall, this little radio recorder is a Solid Buy under $13, and even better when it's under $10 ;)
It has some solid competition from the XHData D-318BT, but if size is important then the Prunus J-328 wins the race.

Love it! - will make a great partner to my Prunus L-238SW. Yet another radio that will fill some functionality gaps in my collection. Super form factor and impressive speaker. This Rocks, I use mine daily while I walk. Plays Old Time Radio shows off the Micro SD card. The speaker is perfect for these shows.

I got mine after you posted that deal, thanks a million todderbert. What a terrific little radio for fm and listening to otr. Unfortunately I didn't get the same aux cable as you, just a standard white micro usb :(

I received it today from Amazon and the quality of sound is really good. Both speaker and headphones. I did not like the hand tag antenna concept. Still the device is good for the price. Recording option is awesome by the way… you can record your fav song from radio (high quality)…

Yes, this radio is with me on my daily walks. I have a micro SD card loaded with Old Time Radio Shows. The speaker has such a good sound for these shows.

Good evening, I understand that the Tecsun Q3 has the capability of automatically saving a recorded file in one hour segments. Do you know of other recorders that also have that feature? I own the Sangean DAR-101 and the PR-D8, both can save one hour files. Is there anything in Tecsun, Kaito, Degen, Retekess or others that can do this? I like to record one to three hour talk shows that I would like to save in one hour files. If the recorder had an AM and or FM radio, that would be even better. Line in is a must have. Does the Kaito ka-29 or the Degen de-28 have that feature? Thanks! Darwin :)

Very impressive. Just looked for it in UK. Not available from Amazon uk. May buy from Amazon USA. It would be handy if It had a small torch (flashlight) in it

Mine sounds nothing like that....all I get is static. Really, I just wanted to record my affirmations and things I have to remember, but nope that doesn't work. This piece of inexpensive junk doesn't work. I didn't see rec when I push the button. And it's too late to return it to Amazon, and this is my second try at buying inexpensive recorders from that site. Any suggestions on what I can do to make it work? And what is aux...what does that do?

This is a great little radio. For its small size, its speaker puts out great sound. I have loaded the TF card with podcasts and am ready to go. I love putting this little radio in my shirt pocket and carrying it around while I do chores

Yes, but I tend to use the main speaker mostly.

@@todderbert Thank you. I'm also looking at the ccrane skywave. Is there a way to install a flexible or wire antenna -- I've been reading that the stock antennas break easily. Any other suggestions for AM/FM/Shortwave?

For FM Stereo Reception I would go with the J-125. Very pocket friendly and Excellent on the FM band. The J-908 and J-328 will have the better speaker audio though.

@@todderbert was thinking of just keeping one in the car for drive ins and camping (once they get reopened). My cheapo android deck has a bad radio chip in it
