I was there! I went from Brazil to Kazakhstan just to watch this concert. That performance was the debut of that song so nobody knew what that song would be like. During this last part, you could hear people sobbing, everyone was deeply moved. I couldn't breathe. I myself was so moved that I couldn't cry. I thought I shouldn't cry because for me it would be an "easy" way to "release" the pain and I should feel all his pain there... I don't know if that makes sense, but that's how I felt. And then this song haunted me for almost 2 months... I couldn't listen to another song, I needed to artistically process these feelings: I drew 2 drawings and made an acting performance based on this song. Only then did I manage to let these feelings go... Being there was an experience that I will never forget! Hug from Brazil!

Yes I was there, what did I think, honestly the whole audience were mesmerised, I was so captivated with the song, images etc that I didn't even realise that I was crying, I felt that I was all alone just listening to him perform, no one uttered a word until the end and then the whole stadium just erupted in a chorus of cheering. I don't think people can appreciate just how incredible Dimash concerts are, he totally takes you over and into his world, 3 hrs 45 mins of being one of Dimash's Dears, he completely gives himself to us and vice versa. Will be his supporter forever as he is 'family' 😍😍

You are so fortunate. Dimash is great on many levels. He sings to the heart, to its love, to its grace! He speaks to our ancient Souls in a voice too familiar to deny. He unleashes an embrace around his audience formed of compassion empowered to stir memory of our Oneness. And in that moment, we are invited to allow the highest within us, 'timeless Love', to to rest within one another's presence. DIMASH IS A DIVINE VISITATION. But as he would be first to admit, he is but a reflection of the Light and its creative altruism that abides within each and every one of us. He will one day also be cherished as a leader in the cause of PEACE upon this Earth. 🙏🦅🌎⭐♥♥♥➡Ad Infinitum

It depends, usually kazakh concerts are really cheap, because those are held under the kazakh ministry of culture..... For example tickets for his European tour were freaking expensive.. I paid €350... But I need to say, the experience was worth it... 🔥🔥🔥🔥 This was my second concert I travelled to Kazakhstan to see him live!!!! I will never ever regret the money I have paid!!!

I was there, during this song we were just in shock, you listen and you can't believe what you hear, it was amazing, , especially the last part because it was a surprise to everyone, even for the long-term fans, Dimash never sang like that, that rough screaming at the end , a big shock and surprise, in his voice you could feel all the pain that is reflected in this music This whole concert was a real experience, not only in terms of world-class technical solutions, choreography and a powerful show, but especially Dimash. He alone fills the whole stage, his energy, direct communication with the audience, gratitude, wonderful transformation. Each song is like a different story in which he plays a different role. And you are there in the song, and through Dimash's singing, the song reaches your heart, because he is simply a master of conveying emotions This song has come directly from his soul, the pain, emotions, feelings that he conveys, this is all that he goes through in himself, these are exactly his thoughts that he wants to convey to a wide audience. His fans know how he takes what is happening all over the world to heart, his heart aches especially for the fate of children and old people, for his people and country.

This song is currently saving my life. I’ve had health, emotional, employment, relational issues for years. When this song came out, I I took a different meaning from it. My Piper is laziness, addictions, complacency. I was having trouble even surviving, I was so beaten down. I decided in November that my only New Years resolution I would choose is “I’m Choosing Life!” I’m religious, and this was my lone prayer. Since then, my spouse has made miraculous changes in her health. She is now able to carry me while I go through stuff. But after bottoming a week ago, there is now a clear path at what is wrong, and specialists assigned to address a blood disorder. My employer has given me an opportunity to make a complete change in career, help me with training, and get me into a solution that takes me out of the conflict I was in. Dimash’s song is my vision, motivator, and my prayer. That is how he impacts me. FYI, no one else I know can stand listening to him. I’m on this island alone with reactors.

Hello sir and thank you very much for the review of this wonderful work! I had the privilege of being present at this concert in Almaty, I flew from Florida for nearly 25 hours each way and it was indeed worth every effort and every cent to see Dimash in Kazakhstan especially in light of my advanced age (66 years old)..and I can say with absolute certainty that as excited as everyone is to see The concert on KZfaq is not even a percentage of what you experience at a live concert! In my opinion, it is not only a privilege to be present at one (at least!) of Dimash's concerts, it is a necessity in order to understand who Dimash is, that we live in the same generation with him and future generations can only envy us! As a Jew, I would like to describe how I felt in the moments when Dimash fell to his knees and shouted from the bottom of his heart "We choose life" when in the background of some of the pictures shown on the screens the results of the Second World War in which 6 million Jews were killed... I could not help but burst into bitter tears and could not see Dimash and the pictures because of the tears Clearly, but his voice penetrated my soul and to this day I experience it again every time I see the pictures and hear Dimash's voice in the background!

Dimash…….. what can you say about this amazing man. He touches your soul, and moves you for ALL of humanity. I realize as a reactor, you have wonderful knowledge of music, and can speak intelligently about musical ability and technical intricacies. But with Dimash, his perfection is in giving totally of himself to his Dears. He is such a responsible young man, with depth and compassion. What an incredible human being!

I was beside myself with tears and so was the man seated next to me in that massive stadium. It was so overwhelming and poignant. The song really hit home for me. His last words in that performance was We need peace. So true. I would strongly recommend anyone to see Dimash in concert should the opportunity arise. In all my years ( I am 62 ), I have never seen or heard anyone as great as Dimash. I have seen many artists in the past from Pavarotti to Streisand, to Brice Springsteen, to Freddie Mercury and none comes close to Dimash. Ive been fortunate enough to have seen Dimash in Dusseldorf, Almaty and Kuala Lumpur. Can’t wait for his next one wherever that may be.

I was in Almaty in September: 6500 kms to watch him live. The whole concert was phenomenal. Beyond words. But this performance is History. It was the most powerful musical moment of my entire life. I cannot describe the feelings during this performance, chills, tears, a flow of emotions, and impossible to understand what was happening. The power of this moment won't never be forgotten. You mentioned the price: the tickets are not expensive at all. Even in the EU, I saw him in Germany and the ticket was less than 90 euros for a very good seat (I don't remember the exact price). In Almaty, it was between 10 and 80 euros if I remember well, depending on the seat. For an artist of this caliber, it is clearly not expensive at all. Because there are a lot of other participants: virtuoso dombra players, orchestra, dancers, 2 gorgeous mini-films on dombra and kobyz... I strongly encourage you to watch all the concert, Dimash released it on his YT channel (3 parts).

*That* phrase in growl register is a kazakh proverb he inserted in the song, "Adam kerwen ömir jol" - meaning, beyond the literal translation: "Life of Man is long and dangerous journey, one must be careful" (with the choices he makes) - (marking the most difficult moment of the MV : the discovery of the innocent child that was killed = the darkest misery of war) /// You can say being at his concerts is transcending, but really more connecting you to a peace within yourself that you forgot you had. This was my experience, in short. Hearing Dimash`s voice in stadium speakers is quite amazing :) Other than that, Dimash`s concerts feel like visiting a good friend, or family. People think sometimes that experiencing a live concert of his would be overwhelming. I can say that for me it was not, but I experienced the purest serenity. I never felt so serene at any concert of any other artist in the world. I think that because he acts like a normal person and not like a star, he doesn`t stun or amaze people in any 'forced' manner :) He is exactly as you see him online and in interviews - someone who does something extremely well and loves to do it, and loves to share it with people with joy, while being a normal person otherwise, no pretentiousness. Like watching an engineer at NASA or an astronaut talk about the laws of physics or something :)) When I left, I felt that I had met and parted with a dear brother for whom I carried the best wishes forever :) This concert was in Kazakhstan, and my superfan area ticket was 80 euros, I got to sit right next to the stage. The plane ticket to get there was the bigger expense, but it was worth every cent. In europe the tickets are more expensive, but getting there is cheaper, so it balances out. All in all, it`s extremely worth it, especially considering that he may not have a stage career of usual length, he is very connected to other life values and priorities, like having a family and being around them, and he might not "rock out" on stage until he`s in his seventies. His stage performance setups and concert frequency might take different forms. He has said that things so far have been a warmup, and there`s more to come, but he has also said other times that he is aware that this is a time window when he can do all this. So, I think that any concert is precious and worth getting to and experiencing. I`m telling you, the serenity is unmatched :)

Thanks! I was there and it was super hard to manage your feelings, your breathe, your tears, the pressure in your chest, I personally was overwhelmed! At the end you almost had the feeling it wasn’t real, you thought it didn’t happen, because everything was so powerful and beautiful and unique and live. But, no, it was REAL! Oh… it was one of a life time experience… DIMASH is indescribable… he is the BEST! ❤️

I was there. This was a moment that was indescribable. As you said, it was like a religious experience, it was as if angels came down amongst us. I didn't even notice that the tears were running down my face. It was electric, the thrum in the stadium. I will never get over this moment, honestly. I know this sounds completely over-dramatic and extra, but those who were there will understand what I mean!

I was at this concert. We knew about the premiere of Dimash's new song and were looking forward to it. And so he announced this song. From the first notes you sit mesmerized by his voice, lyrics, music of the song. At the very end of the song, where we heard this anguish of the soul: "We choose life!", I heard the whole stadium breathed "Uff ..." with me. Words cannot describe what we felt, but it was amazing! Thanks for the reaction!

Dimash‘s soul pours out of his body onto the stage, the audience. I wasn’t there to hear it live but I’m convinced that this was the most intimate part of the entire concert and the minutes Dimash being most vulnerable. What an artist giving his all, opening up to his audience, not being afraid to show his vulnerability. I love this man.

This concert is on youtube in 3 parts and this song is at about the 2 hour 25 min mark. I feel that when he went on the upper stage and took his jacket off he was winding himself up to put all he had into the end of this song. He put 3 years into this and this was his first time to sing in concert for 35,000+ people. I would love to know what he was thinking at this point and it must have been a great release for him when he finished.

Hola amigo! Cuidado!!! Es adictivo!😜!!! Iré a verlo a Armenia 😅

That was great! Dimash hates war and violence and he put it all into that song! This was a special concert because after “ The Story of One Sky”, he sings a song that ends up with 4 Dimash’s singing! This concert was special, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, and in a very special, welcoming and positive mood everywhere in this stadium. The Story of One Sky was premiered there so I didn't know what to expect. But I certainly looked like the people they showed in the crowd in this recording. The moment I realized he sang distortion (I needed some time to realize and process) was the most haunting moment for me. He never sang it before, yet I always hoped he would do, because for him his music is all about emotions - but until then he wasn't able to express anger and rage in his songs. When he did for the first time it hit so hard! Combined with the building of this song to this moment, the visuals of war, him being exhausted afterwards... I'm sure I will never forget this special moment in all my life.

What can I say? I never expected to enjoy this concert because I prefer smaller venues and being close to the artist, but at Almaty I was so far away I could barely make out Dimash on any part of the stage. However, this show was something else. The light show on the gigantuan screens (like buildings) was nothing short of EPIC! For the most part of the concert it was a Picture Show, a magnificent Movie, with only limited shots of what was actually going on on stage. When he sang "Story of One Sky" his voice filling the dark, balmy air along the atmosphere of the audience was indescribable. I have no words. I was so stunned and moved by the song. It was almost unreal. ( On my long plane journey home I played my audio recording and couldn't stop the tears and emotion.) In some ways this was the best concert I'd been to. I was reasonably close in NY, 3rd row in Dubai, but the atmosphere in Almaty was Electrifying. I feel extremely privileged.

I think that for some people, he is overwhelming. People like to classify things and Dimash does Dimash things. He makes no compromises to trend. (Maybe in stage attire, he's got very sassy clothes). Musically, he likes to tell stories. I think Art is always painting in a sense. With notes and tones, with colors, with emotions, and all that together tells a story. He has such a presence, you see an humble young man in interviews but as soon as he steps on that stage he owns his audience. It's almost shape shifting lol. Like at the end of that riff in the recent Budapest you can seevthe stage personna slip off for a while and he gets this boyish vulnerable expression, like he's himself astonished at what he just did. I've become obsessed with him (in a good way lol). I love art, and he is a masterpiece.

Put into words what it was like to be there? Impossible...but you have somehow captured and expressed the incredible atmosphere in your wonderful reaction. This was the first time we heard The Story of One Sky --the film was shown in a smaller stadium the next night. So it was electrifying, to say the least. It was a beautiful September night and the drones were buzzing around; people were on balconies in their apartments listening throughout nearby Almaty, and there were hundreds outside the gates as well. (35,000 "dears" from 68 countries were inside.) While you heard lots of applause at the end, there were many, many people just sitting in stunned silence, or crying. Hope you can attend a Dimash concert...I've seen many on You Tube, but being there is a whole different unimaginable thing. From USA.

Honestly I've heard at least several singers say Dimash IS most comfortable in those upper registers. You might think its the hardest bit but for Dimash? They could be the easiest bits! I think the very low stuff might be the hardest for him. (Besides the really high whistle stuff- since he cant always bring that out on a whim - but he rarely uses it anyway(stuff ABOVE 6th octave) )

Hi, I am a Dear from Austria, not a spring chicken anymore, but totally absorbed in music and singing. I like your reaction videos, you seem to have become a Dear by now :) Reyur question: I was at his concerts in Düsseldorf, Prague and finally, in ALMATY! Wonderful concert, magnificent country and people! These four hours - and I was standing for altogether 8 !!! - was a lifetime experience, shivers through your whole body, you constantly have to take care not to stand there with an open mouth like a moron. No make-up for the ladies, as tears of emotion and happiness keep running down your cheeks. Of course the audience is screaming bravo, but when it comes to the sensitive songs, you could literally hear a pin drop. So much love, respect, energy, actually it is undescribable, but I try :) I was so close to the stage (yes, with 67 years I was in the Superfan Zone, on my aching feet... no pain! )... and it was all worth it! Anytime again, even with the same programme. He performs every song slightly different, the stage is breathtaking, the musicians, his background singers, top notch.... well, after being a music fanatic all my life, having seen hundreds of concerts, I can say: THIS IS ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LEVEL; A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE you cannot imagine if you weren't there (though the 3 parts of the concert on his channel are absolutely great to watch, fantastic sound quality, exciting drone shots etc.). Please try all you can to see him live. I really hope that he will soon come to the States again, I wish for you, and for myself :) With my best regards from Vienna, Austria!

We couldn't speak at the end of it. He was literally feet away from me on the runway for that spectacular emotional finish ... no words, I've just NEVER seen that much passion from a singer ... he was completely lost in that music, completely possessed by it!
