This game was ahead of its times. It still looks good even today

One of the BEST games of history

Hey, i'm the guy that wrote the comment/walkthrough for the previous level and copy pasted it everywhere because no one else did, i'm gonna do the same here, good thing this level is way easier and there is a trick to make it even less hard. SIMPLE WALKTHROUGH: i played as level 9 Aragorn, and only played as Aragorn, on Normal. ok so what i did, and i had plenty of time left, was placing my thumb over fast attack a heavy attack and mainly mindlessly mashing those two ( A&Y on Gamecube) sometimes using the right analog to fight, but rarely, and pressing X now and then. Stand by the door and do this, Aragorn will do his overhead swing attack and break most shields fast, whenever you have the time try to charge up your sword attack. One thing you need to get a hang of is how little time you need to charge up the attack , holding heavy attack for a second or two, you'll want to hold it as little as possible (so they have less chance to interrupt you) but still enough for it to work, if you did it right it will knock a couple of them back and if you have the upgrade, even set them ablaze. Once you get to the part where you have to help Legolas, STOP doing everything and run towards him on the wall, avoid ALL fighting on the way to him, just go around EVERYONE. , kill the Uruks attacking Legolas and try to avoid hitting the barells, you'll need health from those later on. Now this is the best part, the trick is... The door is not taking any damage while you're on the wall, almost NO damage at all. Head right with Legols but do NOT leave the wall. Once you come near the orcs on the right STOP, let the explosion happen first before hurting you, now fight. Again, smash A&Y, charge up when you can, try to finish/stab the big Uruks on the ground when you can and try to not get swarmed in thr middle of the crowd, try staying by the sides, mix up A&Y with right analog now and then. Gimli cutscene happens showing Uruks destroying the door, still do NOT go down, the door will not be taking almost any damage, do not go down until i tell you. Fight some more Uruks, stab those on the ground, charge up when you can, return for barells/health on the far left/right of the wall if you need and can. Now the archers will appear, shoot those as much as you can, good thing is that if you have an upgraded bow you can easily one-shot them, fight off orcs on the wall only when you need to clear them to move and kill archers. Once you kill all archers Gimli will say sonething, NOW leave the wall and return to the courtyard. Continue fighting, spam that A&Y, you know the drill, you'll probably need a dozen if tries to get this far but don't give up, you'll get there and once you get it it won't be hard. Protect the door and charge up when you can. This is the last part, the trolls, but the good thing is the door has plenty of health, or just enough, and health pickups are all around , just remember to pick them up. Now you CAN defeat them the classic way, one heavy attack , then dodge, heavy attack, dodge, rinse and repeat. BUT, since i had time, i found it easier to let them get near the door and hit them from the back, they'll knock you back here and there but there's health everywhere. Use heavy attack on their backs, or A&Y, or if you can do the charge up attack, this will do massive damage and soon they'll be dead because others are hitting them too. Congratulations, you finished the game.

My buddy and I used to always laugh when guy @00:23 would slash WAYYY too early and hit nothing but ground before the onslaught of orcs just blew through him lol. Good memories

Quick tip: Its easier to kill the trolls with just spamming the Single variant of the Heavy Attack (Triangle) instead of doing the double triangle
