I just prefer Ps3 only because analog sticks. Tried Ps4 but its sticks are just too small which made everything less accurate.

i love both PS3 & PS4 i remember i play uncharted 1,2,3 original with ps3 control all the time it was awesome , i play uncharted Nathan Drake's HD remastered collection 1,2,3 with ps4 controller oh my god the ps4 controller give me a superior experience and confidence i never see something before wow unbelievable the ps4 controller function very smoothly with uncharted games , i see the ps4 controller is a winner

I like both... I tried PS4 when I was PS3 user. The PS4 controller was good and smooth for me but wasn't that good... LOVE THE OLD PS3

PS4 controller are better for me I don't play online not a fan of that but Im fanatic story mode guy and arcade 1 or 2 player. Horror games fits perfect for me ps4 controller experience it on with high end graphics and better smoothness then ps3. Playing Uncharted 4 ps4 controller feel more enjoyable looking for things I may need or shooting enemy third person action with that nice rumble feature. A Controller is a controller that a tool for me picking up the controller isn't about holding a controller, Its a tool for me. Picking up thinks controller a person thats me. People do not understand what a controller is all about to satifie them all they care is that online call of duty battlefield halo..... A controller feel more like im there with the person in the game then a touchscreen thats doesn't give me the feel im there, it help's me it guides me.

Does the PS3 controller aim better than the PS3 controller? When I play RDR against PS3 users using a PS4 controller they seem to aim faster than my PS3 controller on my PS3.

Ps3 controller is better. I've gotten a lot worse in fps games since I switched to ps4 controller. The sticks on ps4 controller don't allow as much movement as in ps3 controller and they are more stiff. Because of that reason I can't aim precisely. Also the ps4 controller feels like it is gonna fall off from my hand. The center of mass of the controller is not balanced. It feels front heavy.

Why are R2 and L2 called triggers? I just call them R2 and L2😂 both PS2 PS3 and PS4. Don't get why their called triggers😑

PS3 Remotes felt like complete dogshit, the Xbox 360 remote shit on it, glad they fixed this issue with the PS4 remote

You can just use the ps4 controller on ps3 only thing is that the home button doesnt work same as the touch pad and the ps4 has a built in bluetooth

ps3 controller is undefeated i've had mine for 12 years and is still a champion. ps4 a bit heavier when using on pc

DualShock 3: Pros: ++ Taller domed sticks (better for FPS) + Start and Select button are easy to press. Cons: -- L2/R2 are just buttons, not Analog triggers - Shoulder buttons aren't that great - Controller is quite small (I personally don't mind the size) DualShock 4: Pros: + R2/L2 Triggers are great + shoulder buttons are very clean ++ Controller size is perfect and ergonomic (Excellent for Claw Players) + Touch Pad button is great Cons: -- Short Concave sticks which aren't good for FPS games --- Overtime, Deadzone drift can occur where the player walks on there own or aiming sensitivity is wack. This can be fixed but is quite the inconvenience - Start and Option buttons hardly protrude from the controller. Personally, I'm happy to use both Controllers for there designated system. Also, if you really want to compare, you can use a DualShock 4 on PS3. Would be nice if Sony or some 3rd Party made a Throwback controller that perfectly matches the feel of a DualShock 3 for use on PS4 and/or the upcoming PS5.

Ps3 and Ps2 controller's shape is perfect for my hands when Im playing Tekken. In a Ps3 controller, my fuck you fingers are always in the L2 and R2 button and my pointing fingers in the L1 and R1. I have absolute control of my character because I can easily press the buttons I want. In the Ps4 controller I can not wrap my Fuck you fingers on the R2 and L2 shoulder buttons and now it rests under the controller because of its new shape and size. It feels comfortable but now my pointing fingers do the pressing for both the 4 shoulder buttons which reduces my control over the buttons. The L2 and R2 buttons are also springy compared to the older versions so pressing double tap or triple tap on them feels slow and weird. The Ps4 controller has more functions now but because of the new shape and size, my hands have to adapt to it.

PS4 controller is garbage . It's because on the Ps3 controller you can rest your Right middle finger comfortably on the middle part of the back of the controller while using your pinky and ring finger to SOFT Cone cup hold the grip letting your ring finger rest and hold below (closer towards your body) at the crevice below the cylinder of the Right analog stick which allows grip that stops the controller and Right analog stick from moving too much when you are spamming R1 (shooting). PS3 forces a finger joint grip , while Ps4 forces a palm grip (you can try finger grip which hard because it feels like the right side of the R1 button that thin plastic is cutting up my finger) but finger grip is bad because there the stupid angle of the bottom of the PS4 controller forces your middle finger to slide right ,, and there's nothing to slide toward right because there is no crevice (at right analog stick) to rest your ring finger on. Ps4 controller = TRASH

Ps3 controller is better, mine is from 2012, and still orking perfectly, just cracked the plastic in some places but still perfect, the analogs are way better, the materialof the ps4 ones are shit, in 4 years they getted fucked.

Ps3 controllers are garbage. And ps4 isn’t a lot better. I do prefer pc/ps4 over Xbox but the controllers for Xbox are way better. What I find annoying about the ps3 controller is if you drop it 2 times the fucking thing has parts coming off of it or it has huge scratches. I bought controllers to test the difference to see if I’m just imagining it or whatever, but the PS4 controller is so much more durable, the grips on the joysticks are better on ps4 as well but that’s my person preference. I hate the ps3 joysticks they feel too.. cant think of the right word, loose? The triggers on the ps3 controller doesn’t feel good compared to other controllers. The PS4s triggers aren’t much better but they’re better than nothing. The ps3 controller just feels like cheap plastic shit. I understand 2013 and 2006 are different but I honestly think the PS4 is way better controller.
