Here we have a Bally s6000 with an error of 88FF which stands for a Dead Battery. We will go through the process of putting in a new battery as well as going through the programming and reset of the machine!

The coin mech switch in the down position will turn off the bill acceptor and the coin comparitor . Leave in up position to play.

im trying to figure out how to put an s6000 out of service? i thought flipping the coin swith would work but they can still put freeplay on from the card reader.

I just changed the battery on the MPU board and reset the RAM. Now I'm getting a 31 error code. The hopper seems to work ok. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a proslot 6000 and it works fine but the only problem I have is that it never pays out at all, I use it for my man cave, it's the Fabulous Sevens

Okay, are you referring that you never get a win on the reels? Does it have a hopper? Ticket payout when you hit cash out? There's a couple things, could be the setup to not pay out. Hope this helps!

Alright, and when you say it doesn't pay out, when you get a win on the reels it doesn't spit out your coins? Or only when you hit the cash out button? Because I'm thinking your machine is setup to NOT pay out for your winnings. If you were to hit the cash out button it should spit out what's in the hopper. Please let me know more details!

@@moreno3662 Ahh, I got you now. Then yes, that is definitely a setup feature that can be changed to how often you win, including jackpots. If you have the chips in order to do the programming different than what it's currently set to, I would give ya more help on that! Best of luck!

Join Newlife games. Loads of info. Ram clear can be purchased on EBay along with batteries. But once you know your machine you can solder battery holders in, makes it a lot easier..

My coins go in and come right back out. I bought the bally 6000 from a person on ebay. After a few months, the coins wouldn't go in. I tried to reset the coin on the coin comparitor. A no go, and now i have an 88 error. Can you not just put in a reg AA battery? I would be willing to pay for a zoom meeting tech call, if possible for direction.

This means Low, or Dead Battery! Hope that helps!

Q: My Bally 6000 machine does not have a printer and it plays with tokens (I only have about 100 tokens). Should I mistakenly hit the payout button and it tries to payout more tokens than I have, will I get an error? If so, how do I clear the error and reset it?

I believe that #8 dip switch would be turned to off.

12.05 with the coin mechanism, FALSE information !!!! It must be set in the UP position wenn you have à coin-mechanism !!! Damn man, 6 RAM clear and lost many time later it works finally.

I made it myself, but that's because I have the original manual from Bally. You could pause and copy what I have. Hope this helps!
