no matter how many features you throw at these controllers xbox in my opinion will always be way better then ps controller for the simple fact the thumbsticks are offset and further apart and feel WAY more comfortable to me!

One underrated feature for the Elite that no one usually mentions is the fact that it can charge while the Xbox is completely off

This is Playstation's first attempt. Xbox has had some time to refine their controller. I'll personally wait for a second iteration of the dualsense edge with more improvements.

Haven’t you realized PlayStation does everything Microsoft does ? Lol things like paying for online services to party chats to now controllers 😂 while Xbox does the complete opposite, no vr, and no exclusives. Weird world we live in but you’re gonna be waiting a long time for Sony to give you a real controller man. If I had a choice I would ask for a ps2/ps3 style controller a little bit bigger but that was a classic design the sticks on that never broke

@@loitersquadX honestly the PS5 Dual Sense is the first PS controller I’ve ever actually enjoyed. It’s so good that it makes the Edge look like an overpriced overhyped pile of crap with less battery 🤦‍♂️. PlayStation needed a much better controller to make it worth it over its regular Dual sense and they needed much more to be bette than Elite Series 2 and I think it under delivered. I bought both the Edge and Elite Series 2 and it’s not even close. The Elite Series feels and works like a pro controller the EDGE looks and feels like version 2 of the regular Dual sense not an actual pro controller. Couldn’t even give us magnetic sticks to be better than the competition they just found a way to make money off of us when they’re pos sticks fail we can just swap them for $40 a pair. It’s def the best looking and feeling controller they’ve ever come up with but not worth 3x the price of a regular controller and certainly doesn’t beat the Elite Series 2 in any way except haptic technology but that’s irrelevant for pro users

Yea, it is their first attempt at a pro controller but they aren't Stevie Wonder, they can see other iterations of pro controllers on the market since like 1912 since the Titanic sank. They are just oblivious to the battery situation but they are basically doing that teddy bear monkey Gif where they awkwardly look at their customers with provisional vision pretending not to see us yet the eyes are piercing us. 👀They know that we know that they know that we know that they pretend to not know that their battery is - in my opinion - insufficient.

I grabbed the Elite Core to replace my Elite series 2, I immediately noticed how much cheaper it felt. Especially the plastic used on the triggers and bumpers. Microsoft is def cutting corners with the Core.

I prefer the Elite as well. Before I got my Edge, I thought it would be much heavier. It doesn't feel like a noticeable upgrade over the dualsense, like the Elite does when compared to the regular Xbox controller

The bumpers are the main problem I have with the Xbox elite controllers. Everything is made high quality on the xbox elites besides the bumpers.

Got my edge controller today amd it feels great so far and I'm mainly on playstation (don't have an xbox and rarely play on pc), so this is perfect and it has everything I wanted in a pro controller. I've had a razer raju ultimate ps4 controller and it was great but would reset my profiles, had to use the phone app to customize and the wireless was unreliable, so this is the best I've had so far and less than a scuff.

Imo how it stacks up PlayStation: -Best buttons -Best triggers -Better reliability -Better features Xbox: -Best joysticks -Best Joystick position -Better comfortability -Best battery life -Better customization -Better materials

The Elite Series 2 in hand feels miles more premium than the Dual Sense Edge. They really made the controller feel hefty and material choice is like this rubbery feel which feels so much nicer than the Edge’s regular dual sense feel. It doesn’t feel much different from the regular controllers at all and at $200 that’s very disappointing also that battery life is abysmal how they get away with that I don’t understand it’s PS first pro controller so I’m sure the next one will be better but they should’ve done way better with this. The edge has this heavier weight giving you a sense of premium but it’s because some internals are made of metal therefore giving more weight yet the outside still feels plasticky

If you use one for more than a month without something breaking, it's basically like winning the lottery. Anyone who argues this is a complete moron or works for Microsoft.

Listen we all know there are higher than normal QC issues with the Elite controller but the fact is that it’s not as bad as ppl make it seem. I own two of them a black one and a Xbox design lab 6 months in no issues. ELITE Series 2 has been the best selling Video game accessory of any platform in the last two years. If they were as bad as you claim this would be an impossibility. No I don’t work for Microsoft and you don’t have statistics to back up your claim. KZfaq videos of ppl bitching isn’t going to cut it lol, ppl that are happy with their product don’t complain so the loudest are always the ppl that have had an issue.

Lol the paddles are there so you don't have to take your finger of the trigger? Ehm the paddles main function are to replace the face buttons, so you keep full control over the camera. Of course you can also map triggers/shoulder buttons, but the general idea is to not lose camera control.

i like the dual sense edge because i dont want too deal with stick drift not having too solder the controller sticks dude ps5 controllers on compatable with windows games only on steam . i use a ps5 controller on pc on steam games then you can put the programe or game you can that is on epic games store launch through steam make it work with it .not loop holes anymore they been compatible with steam since ps4 controller v2 ones

I have an Elite 2 and an Elite 2 Core... The Core sucks in my opinion. The Elite 2 was way more durable. I used it for around 6 months and the stick drift didn't increase much at all... The Core however had drastic stick drift within the first month. It's terrible now.

I have A.S.D.A (Analogue stick Drift anxiety) - Hence why I'm steering toward the 'edge / Victrix Pro. Initially I did want the Astro C40 but I'd find aliens faster than I'd find it available new ,online. Paying this much money for the chance of automatically running like Forest Gump due to stick drift on any controller is a shame. I think all controllers should have upgraded stick sensors or removable components in this day and age.

I ended up buying 2 pre owned Astro C40’s on eBay! 2 controllers for £135, one had stick drift hence the price, I bought electrical WD40 And lubricated the stick drifted stick and BOOM, now I don’t have stick drift. Well I used a Hoover first to suck up dust lol They are a dream of a controller. I even bought 5 analogue sticks for replacement. 4 off ali express and 1 other off eBay, all yet to be tested though but I don’t need them yet 🤟

Core isn’t as good as Elite 2. Send mine back as the left trigger didn’t work and it just felt cheaper in general.

Bescause the Dualshock 4 had these functions. You can also setup the touchpad to keyboard keys with DS4windows on pc. IT also has a mic and a speaker.

Both of my elite controllers are fine, my first one took years to have any issues and I fixed it in 5 minutes and now it’s back to normal so u got bad luck

I sent my dual edge back two days ago. No difference in performance. The back paddles have a quicker response time than The trigger stops. The replacement thumb sticks is the selling point.

You can overclock the ps5 controller vs not being able to do that on the Xbox controller. You also dont need anything to run the edge controller on pc. You just plug it in and go.

I'mma tell you something if the PlayStation dual edge controller had the swappable d-pad where you can switch around the joystick with the d-pad oh man I would have instantly I just hate the PlayStation controller because of the d-pad an analog stick on the opposite that's the only reason why I became an Xbox wait until you see the elite series 3 controller game changer... splat facts

Series 1 Elite was the very best. I’m hoping a series 3 is introduced soon with the best mix of 1&2. Magnets DO NOT lose their strength dude. It takes like 50k years for a magnet to start to lose its pull… you sound like a preschooler.
