I reaaaally hope we get a fable 1-3 collection on playstation. Fable is the reason i got a 360 instead of a ps3 back in the day.

I always bought PlayStation cause I love third person action adventure single player games and I buy a lot of games. This shifting to live service is alienating their fan base, the lack of first party for a whole year won’t sell consoles as well. Why would an average Joe who has a PS4 would buy the Ps5 when there’s only 10-12 current gen only games? This is terrible management and it sucks to see.

Ok, somehow my comment got deleated, so I try it again. :D Just wanted to thank you for your streams and content over the years. My dad is fighting lungh cancer so your content is a good distraction. :) I'm still hyped for Hellblade 2 no matter what. But it's funny. I said I would buy a Series X for it since it got first announced...and litterally weeks before launch Microsoft is like "Yeah, lets put our games on PlayStation." Lol xD The Hellblade Marketing is also strange. It seems I'm more hyped for Hellblade then Microsoft themselves. xD Keep up the good work MBG! :)

totally agree .. i did plat both ZD & FW + DLC’s but i feel like i’ve had my horizon fill till next gen now .. if they do the remake, now this lego game and then the multiplayer game ill be like

Horizon is one of the best franchises they have. I feel PS gamers just lean more toward simple movie games. Horizon has actual complexity in its gameplay design. It's what I feel PS needs outside of the more simple blockbuster movie like games.

MBG remember those so called "analysts" predicted that switch will only sell 39 million units in its entire lifetime, cut to 2024 switch is on track to beat ps2 in the next two years to become the most successful console ever, the mantra is same, you wanna sell a console, release multiple consistent must play true exclusives and people will buy it.

As far as acquisitions go I definitely think they should lock down Arrowhead. Even with the game being a runaway hit they own the IP so the studio itself shouldn't be that expensive. I also think they could lock down the studio they're using for all the "classics" ports on Premium. Other than that they probably shouldn't do much, because then you run into the situation Microsoft's in where you own too much to actually manage it.

The PS5 pro will not lure pc gamers, the pro gpu will probably be equivalent to a 7800xt and that might be pushing it.

no mbg the ps4 didn't have many actual ps4 only exclusives last generation at this point in its life. Your argument's not holding water man, the PS5 was selling insane when it had been nearly 2 years since its last showcase early last year

Man horizon is going to get milked to absolute death in the next few years especially as it’s creator as the ceo now. So that’s now potentially 2 multiplayer games Zero dawn remaster/remake Horizon 3 Horizon tv show Horizon Lego game And I’m probably forgetting something else Literally couldn’t care less about any of that apart from horizon 3

Sony was also heavily criticized for not putting on good showcases in the PS4 gen in 2017-2019

Playstation is still doing great despite the fear mongering. The bottom line is the core AAA single player exclusives and we have no reason to believe that that will ever come to an end. Stellar Blade was a global hit on PS5 and it likely drove console sales even short term. PC is more niche as the barrier to entry is much higher than it is for PS5. I don't know why people think PC is the future when that's the case. We still have upcoming games like Silent Hill 2, Death Stranding 2, the rumored Venom game, the rumored God of War Atreus game, Santa Monica's next game, and many other distant games on the horizon like Horizon 3, Spiderman 3, FF7 Remake Part 3, the next God of War, etc. You're being a little doom and gloom MBG. We'll see these games sooner rather than later and even the games we won't see at the next showcase we'll see eventually.
