Had mine for several months and it's awesome. The trigger is unbelievable smooth and light. OD green magpul furniture. I have 8 mags for mine. Mags are easy to load. Add a red dot. Sweet!!!

ALSO, I can't conceal my AR in a back pack or small rectangular case or ukulele bag. This one will fit in all three.

It's doubtful I will have time to put on ear protection before firing my gun when a robber or a group of robbers break into my house. I prefer not to go deaf after having to fire my gun in the house. And I must say that you do not sound like anyone who is actually a firearms instructor as you claimed before.

I love my AKV. I got the first one I could find in stock, which was the one with black magpul furniture and the SBA3 brace. It has been fantastic, no malfunctions, and just super fun to shoot. Thanks for the video!

It took awhile. I started trying a year or so ago, right after Tim from Military Arms Channel did his follow up review, where PSA fixed his issues. It probably took 4 or 5 weeks before one came in stock. And that wasn’t in the middle of a pandemic/supply shortage. Now I’ve got my eye on the AK74 that they just released. No telling how long I’ll be waiting.

I live in SC and I love going to Palmetto to shoot and browse their store (Summerville). The only knock I have with them is how often everything on their website is out of stock. When they finally do post new stock it's gone in the blink of an eye! I have been saving my $ and when the AKV and AKE I want finally get back ill be all over it.

I have this exact same gun. I ordered the redwood edition because I liked the way it looked but now I'm thinking of changing out the furniture because the lower hand guard and pistol is a little slippery. I've been training myself to shoot the gun without the brace in preparation for that inevitable day.

AKV is really awesome. Highly recomend the ALG trigger. If you feel adventurous with the dremel and the mac bracket, the Fostech binary trigger is a perfect match for the AKV.

PSA should put these exact features on the regular line of AK's they could use the regular style of AK mags that have a follower that holds the bolt open, That would let regular AK mags work in a PSA AK that had a last round bolt hold open and bolt release, If PSA came out with an AK with last round bolt hold open and bolt release, Adjustable gas block, Top rail, forged and chrome lined barrel, A nice trigger, Rear mounted sight on the rail using the old sight area as a steel picatiny, That would be a real game changer for the AK especially the last round bolt hold open and bolt release that would give them a unrivalled position in the sales of AKs

The keltec is compact cool on layaway for 425.00 was a steel. But I got level 3 + body armor and stocking survival foods when these Bastards lose in Nov. 3rd . Not letting Riots come to our cities...So maybe end of next year. Plus buying 233, 9mm, and 40 cal well Stocked. Money going way to fast here Sir. Hope you got one. Czechpoint has come out with a Czech produced VZ-58 in a 5.56/.223. The magazines would likely be limited because of the unusual caliber and VZ.

I bet these 9mm Ak’s are pretty reliable if they’re not made like total trash. Simple system with a lower power cartridge these things should last a lifetime if I’m not mistaken. Even on a stamped receiver.

Been shooting since i was 13. 22 pistol from hg higgins. I loved the ar 15. What is the difference in an Ak and Ar. Is it blow back gas etc /,delay?? Always confusing to me. Fired at m 16/Ar 15. Im a novice in this. I have a sks 7.62 39. Shoots very accurate

If I were going to buy a pistol caliber carbine this would be my choice, but there is nothing this pistol can do that a 7.62x39 AK pistol or a .223/5.56 AR pistol can’t do better. Much better! I like it, but it’s really just a toy. If they were so effective it would be way more prolific on the battlefield. A single round of 5.56 that strikes bone is an 80 percent one shot stop. I’ll give that it’s easier to suppress but that’s it.

If you want 9mm ak, its decent. Best is very subjective. I would take Nak or Pak 9 over AKV. But I wanted Vitaez clone and only one is option Kalashnikov USA KR9 or Kalashnikov KP9

I'd like to see them come out with a variant (or just a mag adapter, if that's even possible) that takes Glock mags, and actually use the paddle to lock and release the mags. I've seen the Draco NAK-9 and it looks good and all but it's just a little disappointing that the paddle mag release on that thing is cosmetic.

I've also seen on reviews that its bolt has to be at the rear before you insert a magazine to avoid damage on your mag's feed lips which in my opinion further detracts from the whole AK experience.
