This and "Johnny's Reloading Bench" were my inspiration for a PSA value DMR build a few years ago. 👍 Haven't stretched it out to 1000 yards yet but it does well at 100 yards with Hornady 75gr BTHP over 24gr of varget.

Good shooting Logan. Keeping it humble too. The bolt locked back thing was funny. Their 223 Wylde 18" upper is going to complete my 1st AR. They should probably ship ya a case of their AAC 5.56. Sold me on PSA for my intended purpose.

After your original video I ordered a PSA upper in 18" 223 wylde. I have a UTG 1x8 power scope and can consistently hit steel at 400 yards with 55 gr hornady bullets, and at 600 with 77 bthp with relative ease. Such a great budget build.

I love me some semi-auto. Thanks for the through back. This weekend I'm loading up some 223 and 308 for a Sunday shoot. I may take a bolt gun along, but semi-Auto Sunday is the order of the day this weekend.

Great video and great shooting. PSA rifles catch a lot a of crap because of their price. I started with several “brand names before I started building my own and discovered PSA but my experience is that my PSA, mostly on Anderson lowers perform exceptionally well. Great video!

Hey Logan, I have the same PSA upper on an AR and it’s been a jewel. I recently moved to a place that has a great rifle range out to 500yds, soon to be a 1000. I have a Primary Arms 1x6 LPVO on it now and have hit 500yds with it but not consistently. I have several SWFA scopes, all MOA, 10x, 12x and 16x and have always just held over for distance. I’ve never had to dial up for longer shots, where’s a good place to start? I’ve watched videos and see all the electronics some guys use. Lots to learn. Another thing, I bought out a reloader couple years ago and I enjoy that ALMOST as much as shooting it. Great videos. Thanks

When you're developing an accurate load, do you try to bring the bullet as close to the lands as possible or back off a bit, as reloading manuals suggest? Trying to get good with my 6.5 Grendel.

I like the 77smk with 8208xbr. I've shot mine to 825 just above sea level. I'll never part with my 18 inch white oak barrel.

PSA barrel LMFAO JUNK !!!

Not! I regularly shoot 800yrd Sniper Matches at Camp Pendleton USMC Wilcox range with my 1985 FN-FNC 5.56 NATO 19.5in Barrel and I win 90% of the time (even against nearby Coronado Base Navy SEAL's). Granted the barrel is a hand made FN match grade 7:1 twist, still it's 5.56NATO! (USAF Capt. Ret. 20th Spl Ops Sqn, 27th Spl Ops Wing, 20yrs, Nam 1970-73)
