If you are trusting in repenting of your sins to save you, you are trusting in your good works (which are filthy rags before God), you are saying Jesus Christ's grace is not enough for you, therefore you have never trusted Christ alone as your saviour, you are trusting yourself as co-saviour. You will be rejected if you keep this heresy. Never once in the gospel of John that was written to teach people how to be saved, never once does it say the word repent (which means to change your mind, not 'of your sins' which heretics love to add to the word of God). Jonah 3:10 God repents of the evil he was going to do to destroy the city of Ninevah after the Ninevites repent of their sins, in the very same verse repenting of your sins is defined as a work. God has no sin, yet He repents the most in the Bible. You have been lied to, the only requirement for salvation is trust in Jesus Christ to save you, not a single work of yours is to contribute.
