The ER5 emulator seems to have been lost from the web, it is included on this CD download (which is still available) for only $7 and includes loads of other software - show Patrick some love

Oh ! OPL programming has not disappeared. The Psion OPL User Guide from Psion computers PLC 1997 is also very good to start . Good video. wThanks.

This could be a general small lesson in procedural programming. Those structures and conditions are present in all programming languages

Yes it could. I have found OPL very intuitive when it comes to writing programs, as you say all programming languages share common functionality
