I actually have tried a few flat setups and it does roll SOOOO much better, I have the kizer shift unlimated frames which can ride flat, I can even have a slight rocker if I want for swivelly stuff! I think I'm going to try it again in the near future. Right now I'm working on royales which would be a little tougher with flat frames. But when I did skate flat frames most of my grinds felt great. I'll go back to flat for transition skating for sure!! and funny you mention those freestyle frames on your shadows because I own those frames as well haha the grooove is waaaaaaaaay to big and actually makes it easier to get wheelbite since theres no real wheel bike protection, just a massssive groove for grinding like super wide rails lmao I'll probably never use those frames again, theres way better freestyel frames that mimic antirocker so you don't slip out all the way into the wheels haha

@@Sicnus oh man that might be asking a little too much of your shadows in terms of support lol usually they say you want something as supportive as possible . The new wizard branded high boots go half way up the leg lmaooo I'm sure you could do it, but you'd probably have a better experience with some oysi or kizer shift frames so you can run bigger wheels with a rocker. Like my shifts can run 64mm wheels on the outside and 60 on the inside, the axels go up and down 5mm. so this way you have a 1mm rocker. I've seen people so such sickkkk things with this type of setup. Oysis let you do the same thing but even bigger if your boot allows it. Lots of options! I got nn wizard frames for rollerblade rb110 boot because they basically don't have any flex and are super supportive. Feels so much different than my aggressive blades lol

@@inlineonline thats a great approach. I did the same when starting out and i still try to get a routine in every session of trying most of my repertoire
