06년 당시 고2였는데 그 땐 노래가 좋다고만 해서 많이 들었었는데 30대 백수인 지금 '짓밟힐 수록 또 다시 일어나 잡초같이' 라는 가사에 눈물이 너무 나오네요... 후에 이 노래를 웃으며 듣는 날이 왔으면 좋겠어요 ㅠㅠ

ㄹㅇ.. 위아더원이랑 챔피언 의미도 좋고 딱이었는데 아쉽ㅠㅠ 게다가 폐막식 때 화려한 조명에 라이브 밴드랑 위아더원 공연하면서 부채춤에 사물놀이 나오고 상모까지 돌리면서 태평소 독주 함 때려주면 와... 진짜 미친 작품 나왔을 듯ㄷㄷ

You NEED to listen to his most old but famous hit "Champion", Passionate Goodbye, the song he wrote to PROPOSE to his then-girlfriend/now wife "Entertainer", and "Blue Frog". The last two are kinda hard to find on YT.

@@zita4002 'It's Art' is my favourite. The first time I heard it, I don't know what he is saying because I don't speak the Korean, only English and French. But the song - even when I could not understand the words - made me FEEL so much, like my heart would burst! So I use Google translate to find out the lyrics, and it is beautiful song.

To people who is not of a Korean origin or don't know much about the depth of the problem separating North and South Korea, this is a very powerful message, although similar messages have been in media one way or the other for years now. Respect for psy for making this video! I really do hope Korea does reunite one day, despite the differences and work to be one again on an equal ground. We are already a very small country, and to half that even further in many ways it is too sad. :'(

They mostly shuffle the 100 most popular (American) songs from now and the last few decades and play them over and over and over and over again and again and again. That's the reason I don't listen to radio whenever I can avoid it, you go crazy with this monotony! But fortunately, German subcultures are very rich and diverse. I heard of him in 2001, when the censors in South Korea banned some of his music from radio. He's been writing and performing ever since except when he was drafted into the Army. It's been a long, hard road for him to get where he is today.

I applaud you, Psy. I think these songs before Gangnam Style are really wonderful, and you should have had a larger following from the beginning! But because of Gangnam Style, people see these wonderful videos. So, win-win. I think the North and South should be together again, and your video shows how much you care about your country, and, it shows me that you won't let the fame get to your head 100%. :)

There are some decent translations to English out there of the lyrics -- definitely worth looking them up. Psy recorded this song for when the World Cup was in Seoul, and it's in good part about having North Koreans playing on the South Korean team, if I remember the story right... In any case, this is definitely one of my favorite songs by Psy :)
