Also, if your crush doesn't have a phone number or doesn't feel comfortable giving it out, then don't push them to do it by asking them all the time. Instead, show interest in wanting to talk to them or see them virtually or in person...without sounding creepy.

As a person that’s been to more dates than I want to admit, I think there is one very simple thing that even I often tend to forget when texting. You are having a conversation with another human. I know it sounds stupid but often I get caught up forcing a conversation and drying up the conversation myself when I should realise that you are only half of the conversation. If they answer you always with a one liner or send you a reply once a week you shouldn’t waste your time forcing yourself in to it. Just know if you are interested to a person and they are equally interested aswell you usually can struck up a conversation about anything. Once I even talked half an hour about paint drying and it was amazing!

Totally agree! Forced conversations are not the right thing how to find someone. If the other person replies with one word or after several days, there is just no interest in you. Take your things and go to find someone better. Trust me, it's not worth it. If that other person is the right one, your chatting will be much easier, nice and natural. I can say it by me own experience. My best relationships started exactly like that and those beginnings were so interesting, funny and just lovely. Exactly like with my current girlfriend, we are together for several years now, we have beautiful little daughter and our talks are still funny and interesting after all those years.

Human beings are complex and simple at the same time. In order to take advantage of the latter, you just have to be honest and direct about what you want to say. In terms of texting, getting someone’s attention is still complicated, especially when they’re entertaining more than one person through the tiny screen in the palm of their hand.

my advice is just to be yourself and NEVER try to act like someone you're not. because if they do end up liking you, it's not really you they love it's the fake persona you made for them. if you be yourself, you'll attract the right person and they'll love you wholeheartedly for the person you are inside

I really like this advice, but it only works if you are surrounded by multiple single people of the targeted gender who are also of an appropriate age, have similar values and political views. Which is what ruins that for many progressive women in the developing world countries who are surrounded by men who want a free servant with no self-esteem around. Very often, if you are struggling - do your statistics, know who you are and where you are. There is no use fishing in a river without fish, you need to find a good place first.

Great advice and video! I myself don't have a crush nor their contact info, though the best way to casually get someone's email and phone number is by treating it casually, by asking in a group. You could ask for all of your friend's contact info so you could make a group chat, and there'd be no reason to refuse.

Keep that friendship going, after a rejection you can become closer on a non romantic basis if you enjoy their company no matter what type of company that may be. I did this with mine and we are much closer despite me no longer romantically pursuing them because they arent ready for it/arent sure of their own feelings but despite this we are still great friends. I don't have a go-to opening line, I just talk to her about what comes to mind in the spur of the moment.. Sometimes I don't know what to say and that's the most excruciating part. I've always struggled with keeping the conversation going, always depended on others to do this. I'm a huge introvert, but I also really like this girl and I absolutely do not want to come off as boring.. these tips could be major help! I just tried to be cool and engaged, those things you mentioned came naturally. I even got her on a date, which on she seemed really happy. But after that I would initiate every conversation, and on the last one she distanced back and answered really shortly. After that I gave up. Not the first time, and probably not the last one, haha 💀It hurts, but I hope that at least she is fine.

In many ways I had a swapped role of this. Someone I was talking to continually said they were enjoying our conversations and was interested in me - but I wish they would have watched this video because if that was the case I wasn't receiving any of that downrange at all. They never seemed interested - dry two word answers, never asking about me or telling me about themselves, aside from the first week of flirting. So I concluded we just had wildly different communication styles and expectations and decided it wasn't for me. An hour later this video pops up on my feed haha YT well played.

This dude and i figured out that we like each others. However, due to the fact that both of us are very much introverted, we rarely talk and it's probably impossible for us to have a deep conversation. Heck we don't even text. Maybe take it easy on the questions at the beginning. That way, news tidbits will still be interesting, like discovering your BF/GFs favourite foods. Also, some question will make the other uncomfortable, so stay away from these areas till he/she gets close enough to you. Sharing personal things can be fun too. There's always something new to find out ^_^ I fully agree about the Similarity attracts part too. There's a saying that always stuck with me. "Birds of a feather flock together". Opposites attract but I had to find out the hard way that relationships don't endure if the other one is wired totally different. Love can bridge a lot but not everything.

I did once have a crush and I mostly had to engage the conversation and when I didn’t they never texted me so when I asked her why she wasn’t she said she was busy but for me why couldn’t you have said that in text and it was just a complete mess so I deleted their number but I do see them because they are a customer at the place i work at but we don’t really say anything towards each except customer and cashier stuff 😂

I have a co worker i like who smiles at Me very sweetly and I smile back for her too. She has asked me a couple of questions in relation to work and I help her even if some were dumb questions i know she is smart enough to figure out herself. But during lunch there is a guy who might be her first friend that she would sit with and bring drinks for him and when we made eye contact she was happy and showed fear at the same time so I didn't bother her and sat by mself or with a friend who was one of the few 1st people i talked with at orientation. Although at this point I do need friends since I'm new in Vegas but I cannot help but melt when we see each other passing by. I'm being patient though and yesterday I had an appointment so I missed a day of work. I'm curious to see how she will react when I come back tomorrow but I definitely need more friends. I made a few but they work at different departments except for 2 of them. I'm also hoping to find someone else incase this doesn't work out so that I have someone else to keep me company.

@@Psych2go Thanks, that's what I was thinking and really want to do but I remember reading her eye language and she seemed nervous because I definetly wanted to sit with her, but she had company. It's alright we're not properly acquainted anyways and there are plenty of fish in the sea, not everything can go the way we planned but eventually the right person will come along. If I get lucky I might bump into her again and that will be the time for me to step up within those few minutes.

a trick to see if someone care about you is : talk to them on social media and everyday say hi to them and do a small conversation after like 1 or 2 week don’t talk to them for the day and see how they will react

my crush and i live 3.5 hours away from each other, but a way we connect i have noticed is through music taste bc ours is very similar, so WE ARE TRADING PLAYLISTS! :D mine is filled with love songs but i will update y'all on how it goes

i had a crush on my friend and we used to talk a lot, but now we don't talk much anymore, one of the reason is because she got busy in her job, but the other main reason is that our conversation doesn't go that much interesting and smooth anymore like it was used to. can someone give me advice on how to make our conversations like before again !
