@@AstraLog123 Well I watched the vid for INFP insight, but I comnented on the similarities with INTJ - something that has been touched upon in orher videos but is still weird to me considering the types are very different when it comes to cognitive functions. I also have very interesting relationships with INFPs myself (INTJ)

My mum is Infp and she is not attuned to the feelings of the people around her. Quite the opposite, she is very much in her own world usually. Even my brother said: if you feel sad because someone you loved died and she did n8t know that person, she shows little empathy for your sadness. I am not a big fan of Infps, because of that lack of empathy and self centeredness. I much prefer the Fe types as friends and partners. 😄 i am Infj ...the other points were accurate i think .

INFPs have intense empathy and are able to read other people easily. Your mom sounds like she has empathy burnout. It doesn’t make empathy go away…it makes one have to shut down because of feeling empathy so hard that it breaks you. INFPs are the most misunderstood type in my opinion, INFJs being next.

Maybe they are not always able to show their empathy. As an INFP I always overanalyze all the people around me and can understand their acts, feelings and where they possibly come from. But when it comes to showing how much i can understand them or when im trying to help them im totally overwhelmed. Normally trying to help people either only happens in my head but im too scared to actually try it in real life or if i find the courage, it rather looks like a stressful argument in which im trying to make them see their situation and what they should do about it. They often dont really listen to my advices which is somehow understandable but it makes me so mad becouse i see where they are going to end and not being able to help them appropriately makes me feel so frustrated.
