Psylocke and Storm were both my favorite Xmen and when they put on X Men 2 on Sega Genesis? I was in a dream 🤯 She is also an omega level mutant from the full scope of her abilities

The current Captain Britain (Elizabeth/Betsy) is level Omega, not current Psylocke (Kwannon). All that Omega ish happened under Betsy control of the ninja body. When Betsy got her original Euro body back, those Omega level telepathy and Alpha level telekinesis went with her. The only thing Betsy lost is the perfect physical peak ninja body that she had inhabited and trained under Merlin. Psylocke (Kwannon) was fortunate enough to gain telepathy and psychic weaponry when inhabiting Betsy's Euro body. Unfortunately for Kwannon, her growth in telepathy was stunted when she died (twice).

@@JT-fq2blYou're missing out though on what Psylocke really is focusing on the person's at hand. Psylocke is/was both women at the same time and I honestly believe Psylockes true form is the psionic butterfly, a literal metaphor of her powers being able to shed her body to extend her psyche to others. That is where the omega level comes from because of her manipulation of duality and recurrent life. The zombie mind ninja

@25lighters91 That doesn't make her an Omega level telepath. Kwannon hasn't shown any noteworthy feats as a telepath while in Elizabeth's and her own body, but Elizabeth did in both bodies. If Kwannon hadn't died the first time around, Elizabeth wouldn't be an Omega telepath due to the psychic link cutting her power in half with Kwannon.

some things I think they should have mentioned: 1)Kwannon's psyche was buried in Betsy's mind after a body swap. Betsy never had those fighting skills before the swap. If she did Slaymaster would not have plucked out her eyes as easily as he did, That`s why she wore a heavily armored purple costume when she joined the X-men. 2) Kwannon did have a daughter that she was desperately trying to have resurrected when she led the Hellions. 3) They don't share one body anymore, technically Kwannon is Psylocke and Betsy is Captain Britain

The whole 2 bodies thing is a continuity train wreck (like all of modern Marvel). Kwanon died in Betsys original body during Sisterhood story arc for example. She was also already Captain Britain when she originally fought Slaymaster in the 80s UK comic. This whole regression of her character was done entirely out of bitterness and spite by ignorant twitter sociopaths who never read comics. Hypocrisy off the scale from these intolerant activist types as they couldn't accept Psylocke unless she was back in the body she was born in!- Doesn't sound very progressive to me!

I love Psylocke. One of my favorite X-Men. I wish the writers would develop her powers more. She should be Omega level. On par with, and possibly exceeding Jean Grey, and Emma Frost.

Psylocke (Kwannon) doesn't deserve to be Omega level, because she's been dead more than she been alive. Also, she Psylocke doesn't have telekinesis. That ability was bestowed onto Captain Britain (Elizabeth) by AoA Jean Grey while remaining Psylocke's body. The only good thing Psylocke have that Captain Britain lose when returning to here original body is a peak physical body of a ninja that was trained under Merlin.

@@JT-fq2bl Kwannon has all of Betsy's powers, but they are weakened, as she has no experience with the powers. in Fallen Angels it is said that Betsy left part of her power with Kwannon and that Kwannon is not at Xavier's level and cannot even do what Elizabeth can (in the sense of level).

Betsy is one of the most powerful psychics and this was confirmed in the Uncanny X-Force Vol. 2 where she was considered the 3rd psychic most powerful on the planet. (That time Jean and Xavier were gone)

Betsy Braddock born mutant telepath is twin sister to Brian Braddock a.k.a. Captain Britain. Her twin brother Brian is a simple human but Betsy inherited the X gene like their older brother Jamie Braddock who is a reality warper mutant and very crazy. The interesting part is Betsy's powers started to manifest as precognitive visions like Destiny and evolved into telepathy and psycho blasts after she trained with the STRIKE organization. The trauma from the body swap shut down Betsy's powers and changed them to channel into psychic weapons. Her butterfly is Betsy's anchor to maintain her spirit when she loses her body.

She only had a couple of lines of dialogue but I thought her action scenes were pretty good. Her psychic abilities needed to be presented though after Apocalypse was defeated she fled the scene.

Wasn't the whole body swapping thing done at Shinobi Shaw's headquarters and not on mojoworld somewhere I could be wrong but I do believe she was switched with Betsy because she had the Legacy virus but the Legacy virus didn't stick with the body it still went to the ninja lady and it happened at the same headquarters that Magneto went to too kill Shinobi Shaw because Sebastian Shaw killed Magneto's Daddy

A REALM I IMAGINE THAT HAS BOTH A VARIANT OF PSYLOCKE & OF (RACHEL SUMMERS) IN IT: I think the only type of mutant, that can keep this Anti-Hero mutant, PSYLOCKE in check, is an Omega-Level hero mutant. I imagine in a different realm, the daughter of JEAN GREY & SCOTT SUMMERS, was born with the ability, to become an Omega-Level mutant. Now I imagine in this realm, PYSLOCKE, first met RACHEL, when she was age:16, at that time Rachel was age:15, and she was on her summer vacation. I imagine at first they both talked allot, then later they hung out doing stuff, but Rachel was firm on avoiding doing dangerous stuff, and on taking dangerous drugs. Unbeknownst to Psylocke, Rachel was born with, powerful mutant abilities, and powers, and to add some haven’t yet awakened. The two eventually became great friends, and they looked out for each as if they were carrying stepsisters. I imagine about six years later, Rachel’s dormant extra powerful powers awakened, and she became an Omega-Level mutant. The only type that can go into Psylocke’s mind, in order to heal it, along with being the only one to protect it, from evil Omega-Level mutants.
