We explore the South West of Western Australia, starting in Denmark, visiting Boat Harbour Beach and Owingup Nature Reserve.
You probably know by now we don't mind a winery! This was our first time staying at Duckett’s Mill Wines and Denmark Farmhouse Cheese. We had a blast and proved to be a great spot to explore the Denmark surrounds.

We also walked the Harewood Forest Walk Trail, visited the beautiful Singlefile Wines and enjoyed the local Denmark food.

Before visiting it's always best practice to visit the local Denmark Visitors Centre to check track conditions and whether there are any closures.

Great insight into the first stage of your trip to Denmark. Clearly plenty of options whatever the weather throws at you. The coastal tracks look stunning and clearly worth taking them all the way to the beach. Love the drones shots too to provide geographical context.

The south west is so nice! Red Rock Beach and all the surrounds is a spot I’d recommend checking out to! Great to see you back mate, look forward to the next video

I stayed at a orchard down that way at the same time as you guys. I will say it is way nicer where you are. But I had to go buy a jumper as I wasn't expecting it to be so cold. We did the castle rock hike. Was perfect weather for it.

Haha too right! Weather certainly caught us out 🥶 Still had a great time exploring and certainly easier to sleep in cooler weather. We ended up going to Kmart in Albany and buying Max some pants that he forgot ha! Castle rock sounds nice

Haha the camp dog loafing around trying to score something for his guts 😂 I have made the mistake of heading down south for Christmas and only packing summer clothes 🥶 Not a cheap fix to buy new in Yallingup 😅

I think you’re spot on with the dog haha! Don’t blame it! Yeah I bet - clothes down south coast a small fortune. I think Max needs a checklist for the next trip 🤣

Yes it’s great. Would like to tackle Bornholm Beach next but need another vehicle as its one of Aus toughest tracks

@@Perth4WDandCamping the track down to Bornholm Beach is a bit tight in sections , but an awesome track and winter would be the time to do it

Great vid Mark. Assuming the initial track into boat harbour is easy done solo with correct tyre pressures or would you recommend that done with another vehicle as well? Wanting to do a solo track around Denmark to the beach with the kids (ie no help if we get bogged!)

Thanks. Yes track into the beach is no problem solo. Only a few soft areas as you get closer to the beach but right pressures and you’ll be fine
