(PT. 6) Replacing the front brake line on the most HATED scooter on the internet

In my experience working as a technician in independent motorcycle shops I worked on everything from CVO Harley Davidsons to Honda CT90s. But there was one bike that always stood out with exceptionally poor quality. The Tao Tao 50cc GY6 (139QMB) scooter. And now I'm going to put this scooter to the test and find out if they really are little money pits, or if the issues with the bike are a result of the people who buy these kinds of scooters.
So I purchased a Tao Tao "Pony" ATM 50 and my plan is to make it my main means of transportation for 6 months. Yes from June 1st to January 1st this little scooter is going to be my daily driver. I'll be logging all of the miles, issues and expenses of keeping this scooter running in a log. Doing this will allow me to present a true cost of ownership at the end of this experiment.
The Tao Tao Pony 50 is based on the generic GY6 139QMB platform. They were sold under many different "Brand" names like Wolf, Bintelli, Fly, Rocketa, MotoBravo Italica, and Dongfang just to name a few. You may be riding one and not even know it!
On my way home from work I noticed a strange growling noise coming from the front wheel. I pulled over and discovered my front brake line retainer had broken and my brake line had been rubbing on my front tire. Removing the rubber from the line compromised the integrity of the line. I decided to not ride the scooter until I replaced the brake line.
This failure happened within 160 Km of my last service. My 1000 Km service included inspection of the brake system and my retainer and brake line were in good shape.

To be honest the new brake line is a bit too long, but I was able to route the majority of the excess line under the front cover.

I am enjoying watching your videos on the 49cc tao tao. I was a Honda motorcycle technician in my younger years through the 70's, and I have purchased an old 2008 long bow prodical 150 scooter that I will get running after a lot of electrical rewiring. It will be fun in comparing the newer scooter to the old Hondas.

For ppl not sure about cable or line routing , I suggest zip tie them together. Pull one pulls both. I do same for some chain replacements .

The noise started because the line had worn off the outer rubber sheathing and exposed the spiral wire inner core. This core, similar to a piano wire, will make this kind of noise when lettering etc. on the tire rubs on it. As for the bleeding, a much simpler method is to push fluid in from the bottom (wheel cylinder bleeder screw) with a pump. Forces the air up and out, you just have to keep an eye on the master cylinder so you can remove fluid if needed before it spills.

It's always interesting to see a video just when I need it! I'm not sure how but the sight glass on my TaoTao's front brake reservoir shattered (long going battle with my former landlord is the most likely reason). I have been turning wrenches on cars for over 10 years as a shade tree with formal training but I have never bled front brakes on a scooter/motorcycle. Thanks so much for the video! Good day Sir. My SSR Lazer is broken in nicely. The valve job you taught me how to do worked great. She's topping out at 37mph with no more stalling while idling. Thanks again man. Also picked up a Yamaha pw50 tonight for my 3 year old. Looking forward to many days of riding with him.

@@parkersgarage4216 not normal. I've had a Honda 125 from 1987 that has been in service for 30+ years and still has the original lines and the second brake pad and the original drum. It's has been down for all of a month worth of days it's entire life. I'm now having trouble finding parts like clutches because they never break either... It's getting replaced for the first time once I find one. And it's now on the 3rd generation of learners beating the tar out of it.

Phil Builds well they are built cheaper w cheaper components hence the couple grand less price tag. If you upgrade the necessary stuff though I’d be curious to see how these do. I bought a grom clone and 190 swapped it and I friggin loved that bike. Had it for 3 months it was my first bike ride the crap out of it and Never had an issue. I saved 2 grand over the grom and could blow one away and I had 5 gears. The key here is I can turn a wrench and they are simple to fix. Nothing broke but if it ever did I woulda bought higher quality parts just like Garrett did. I will say that was my first bike and got me into it for far less money. I didn’t have to spend crazy money to find out if I like motorcycles then take a crazy loss when I sell it. I sold mine and broke even w the grom that’s not gonna happen. I put 1200 miles on it in a months time too. I like all bikes no matter what brand type etc. I learned I love riding and I wish I woulda done it sooner. It’s not for everyone

Enjoying this series, keep it up. I have a couple of comments. First, DOT4 and 3 brake fluids are hygroscopic so when you're bleeding or opening the system use wet rags instead of dry. The fluid won't make it past the rag if it's tightly wrapped around what you're opening up. Next, I never pop open the top banjo bolt to bleed, just replace the cover, pull the lever all the way in to the bar and secure it. The air will bleed away overnight, you can help it along by gently tapping on the line to get any bubbles to travel up to the MC. You need time with this method but no mess at the top banjo bolt. Lastly, I'm in Canada and only a few places sell gas with ethanol. It is a giant rip off. You are essentially buying fuel with 10-15% less energy in it than gasoline. So performance will suffer. On vehicles with engine control computers they will compensate somewhat for the inferior fuel but on a scooter with a carb your performance will suffer. Looking forward to seeing what your testing demonstrates.

Great video, as always. Over here in Europe those Chinese scooters are EVERYWHERE. Most of them are either knockoff Vespas or knockoff Aprilia Habanas. All powered by the same 139QMB 50cc, of course. And since they usually fall in the hands of not-too-tech-savvy owners (read; my neighbor's 16 year old daughter) they get run hard and receive very little maintenance. And they just keep going. I don't know if it's the tolerances in the engine, or the ruggedly simple design, but these things tolerate so much abuse with so little maintenance.

They're breeding like rabbits in Australia too, I often see a couple of them pulled up outside the pub, and often see them on the road when I walk up. They are also often converted into food delivery bikes, with a bigger storage comparment on the back. They are the exact same design as in the video, some even down to the gold colour.

A lot of them are very bad, but they keep going because of the tolerances and because replacement parts are cheap. Gy6 engine is such a mass product, that it became somewhat reliable. Just not as reliable as the Honda engine it was copied from. Also the kymco version of it, is much more reliable. But the used components can vary in quality on the Chinese scooters. If you take care of them, they will last a while.

This helped me out big time. The free scooter had a non working front brake. It took about 15-20 minutes to bleed it and add new brake fluid. Thanks again for the video!!!

I had this same thing happen to me on a VW Rabbit. The brake line going to the caliper worked loose from the grommet holding it on the strut assembly and over a period of time the rim wore through the line resulting in a loss of brake fluid culminating in me going through an intersection, frantically pumping the brakes and pulling on the emergency brake on New Years Eve. My wife was with me. My current PIaggio and Vespa have a nice metal bracket and grommet, I looked this afternoon. My Mitsubishi Mirage is properly routed too, I looked when I did the brakes this last year. Always nice to see how the project is going, keep up the great work!

Wow, out of the 4 Chinese scooters I've ever owned I never had to replace a whole brake line that early! However, I always had bad luck with the fuel and speedometer lines! Also, it's now been over a year since I bought my Tao Tao Evo 50, over 2K miles ridden so far and haven't faced any catastrophic failures, yet lol.

@@carmineredd1198 I'm not lying lol, I know the speedometers on these Chinese scooters aren't 100% accurate. I use a digital speedometer on my phone to measure my speed, the fastest I was able to go was 42 on flat ground with no road bumps and wind.

@@SegaDisneyUniverse 42 is much better than 39. i dislike it when people say 40-45mph , on a moped exact mph is very important to me . i once bought an 2stroke Eton Beamer because i read they go 45mph well the cop said i was doing 37 in a 30 on a moped that is not allowed to go over 24mph , so i bought a 150 and still use the 50cc plate my 150 will do 55mph . hope you get lots of use from yours the Evo is the huracan ? the long one or the one with the fairing by the feet ?

Really loving this series, in finland these 50cc mopeds need a moped driver's license and can only go max 45kph. I would like to see you modify this scooter in the future like ordering and installing a new 24mm carburetor and 100cc top end. Keep it up!

The same in germany. Restricted to 45 but they all goes regular 50-55. You can drive them with a license for car or a separate AM license.

Been following this series of videos because son wants me to teach him to ride and have been looking at small scoots like yours. I ride a Jetmax . Its a 250cc fuel injected maxiscoot . I always run non ethanol and have never had a problem starting even after winter storage here in NY. Don't if it would effect mileage but who needs the extra garbage the put into fuel in my engine. Ethanol's biggest problem is with cars that sit for months at a time. It breaks down in the gas tank and fuel system, which is especially bad for older carburated engines. A boat dock at Lake Cumberland noted a ton of long term slip owners continually having starting issues on boats that sat for months between visits. They changed suppliers to straight gas, and all issues disappeared. We pulled the bowl off of ours and there was a layer of watery jellyish substance in the bottom, along with corrosion in the aluminum. Nasty stuff, unless you burn it soon after filling up.

I have a taotao atm-50. My front brake was wonky for about a week until it went out completely. I added brake fluid and attempted to bleed them and found a tiny hole in the line. I love this little thing. Even if it feels like a death trap sometimes lol.

Glad you found that before it rubbed through far enough to cause a brake failure! Interesting note about the non-ethanol fuel. Would like to see what the results are on that because I've switched to non-ethanol fuel in my older ATV's and my 57 Chevy since it became available locally (Thank you Buc-ee's). I know higher octane fuel shouldn't make a difference unless you were experiencing pre-detonation due to heat.

Sorry but this problem probably existed from the beginning. I would imagine the line got bumped in the crate and bent the clip. I had a similar problem on my Bashan. The clip holding the speedometer cable wasn't completely pushed close and the cable got out and snagged on outside of the clip during suspension compression and rebound. A shop familiar with the scooter probably would have looked for any subtle shipping damage. It's why people who buy a scooter in a box have these issues and should buy a Chinese scooter from the many places selling them. If a Certified Mechanic could miss this, think about the trouble people who assemble them with a screwdriver and Channellocks would have.

I had just inspected the braking system at the 1000k service though and all the brackets and retainers were in good shape. So this issue happened in the last 500km. In addition to that uncrating and repairing these scooters used to be my job. I worked at a shop that sold several "brands" and models of these Chinese scooters

Garret Seesing okay. So maybe I'm wrong. It would still be more logical to me that that the clip broke from the brake line tugging on it rather than the clip break pushing it into the wheel

@@kz1000st1 yeah I think you're right. It probably gave way from the brake line tugging on it as the suspension loaded and unloaded. But left uncontained the brake line was free to find its way into my front wheel

@@Scooter_911 I don't want to sound like a wise guy know it all but I put 10,000 miles on a crate scooter. Most of the problems come from assembly line flaws. Possibly the brake line snagged up in the plastics because it was misrouted. Over time it pulled on the bracket and broke it. You routed it correctly during the repair.

@@kz1000st1 I did not change the routing of the brake line when installing the front fender. In fact with the retainer in place it would be impossible to install the line outside of the fender because the retainer is welded to the internal fender stay.

When I had my 150; the ear on the front caliper, where the bolt mounts it, snapped off the caliper itself.

Always something with these scooters. I have an oil leak on mine. I found 2 lose bolts already. Going to do a thorough inspection and I'm positive I'll find more.

I' ve actually had this sort of "breakdown" in a ZongShen LZX200-GY2 motorcycle (bought used). Granted, it was 13 yo, the front brake line was weathered and cracked in several places, but in addition it was routed in such a way that it rubbed against the forks and fork protectors. Scarier of all, many mechanics claimed it was "OK to ride, since it didn't leak". I ended up replacing it of course (getting the proper brake line was another story, I had to obtain an entire front brake assy) and this time routed it properly. To its merit, it really didn't leak and stood 13 years of abuse, but still looked too scary to coninue riding.

The exact same brake line rubbing happened to me on my ATM-50 a month ago. I thought it was the speedo cable clicking until I got on the ground and looked! Zip tied it just like you did temporarily. Mine only has 700 K on it!

Look forward to a crumbling rear directional bulb socket causing turn signal to fail. I've rigged mine with tape and glue until you show me how to fix it when yours breaks... haha.

May I give you a pointer on vacuum bleeder? 1) Fill the master cylinder with new fluid 2) leave iid off master cylinder being careful not to spill fluid 3) attach vacuum bleeder to bleed screw of caliper, use a small zip tie to make sure hose is air tight. 4) pump you vacuum pump until you are holding a good vacuum on the bleed screw. 5) crack open the bleed screw momentarily, tighten bleed screw quickly as to not allow air in the system again. 6) repeat above steps until you vacuum out only fluid keeping master cylinder full as needed. Do not need to pump the lever when bleeding this way. Just so you know, I am a retired field service engineer with 52 years experience fixing concerns with cars and trucks all over the world directly for the OEMs I don’t ride a scooter but I find you videos great on this Tao Tao. My bike of choice for the past for the past 11 years has been Suzuki DL1000. I have owned three Suzuki’s, before the Suzuki’s were several different Harley’s. I do all my own maintenance and repairs still.

I have a few Chinese motorcycles and they have been pretty solid overall. Between the 3 of them I had one rear brake line failure. One day the back brake just stopped working. At first I thought it was just bad fluid which is known to happen on Chinese bikes. I bled fresh brake fluid into the system and it worked for about 1 mile. Then it went dead again and looking closer I noticed a pin prick leak in the break hose. A $10 OEM replacement hose has corrected it since that time and held so far. I also have 2 other chinese bikes with Honda CG 150 clone motors in them. Despite lacking power they seem fairly bullet proof so far. Only odd thing I have discovered is for some reason even though the valves are adjusted exactly the same they are tad more noisy on one and not the other. Its either a very sensitive adjustment or its a tolerance issue. As long as they are not tight on these bikes typically you are good. I enjoy the Tao Tao 50 videos. I have always sort of thought the biggest issue with Chinese bikes was the owner and not the bike itself to some degree. However they are cheap in some areas. It helps a lot being mechanically inclined and you certainly don't get any dealer support with them!

I had no idea there was a such thing as a JIS head screwdriver. Your diagram at 3:49 shows expertly why this is important. I think I like the JIS standard better than Phillips. It will grip the screw much better with less room for slippage that may strip the head.

Meanwhile, others be like, "There's no problem, it makes noise because it's cheap. It still runs, so I carry on." Then one day. "I suddenly".....suddenly?... "have no brakes. They were fine up until then. People that keep going until an obvious problem they can't ignore pops up.

it happens to me the same at 2000km, but on a different Chinese scoter. BTW in Europe ethanol fuel is forbidden, the gas station only fill high end 98 or 100 octane fuel (LOVE your videos :) )

I wish this video was out a few weeks back. My new Tao Tao Thunder 50 had spongy brakes, so I went to bleed them. I let the reservoir run dry, and could not for the life of me get it bled properly, so I had to take it to the shop and have it fixed there. The brakes are still spongy, though, at least in comparison to my beater 2014 Tao Tao VIP 50, and my previous 2018 Bintelli Bolt front brakes. I'll assume it is the pads, as even on the old VIP, the front brakes stop much harder than the new Thunder.

Hey when the flasher relay on the tao tao goes bad... Mine did in the first 2 weeks of ownership.. Replace it with a grote 44010 universal 3 wire solid state flasher... Will last pretty much forever lol just wanted to add a helpful tip... Colors even match when you splice it on the factory harness connector

Garret love the videos iv learned so much from your videos iv been waiting almost 4 months for my Tao Tao . But when it does get here I'll know exactly what to do and don't do. Interesting! Recently had near identical issue ( lexmoto Milano 50cc gy6 ~1500 miles/2400km). Tab holding the front break line broke, and the line rubbed under breaking. Unfortunately I had no noisy warning so my first clue was failure! Fortunately it was in zero traffic.

I am from Sri Lanka and here we ride mostly Indian bikes both scooters and bikes.. rarely we ride a Japanese high capacity bike..Please teach us about a common method to adjust our tappet or valve clearance because here we dont have any repair manuals given to us by the motor companies for our bikes..

Greetings! I had a Bajaj Chetak for a while and it was one of my favorite bikes of all time! The adjustment is very similar and the concept is the same as far as putting the piston to top dead center. Unfortunately there aren't many Indian bikes here in the states and I no longer have my Bajaj. If I get another one I'll definitely put a video together!

The clearance for 139qmb is in most cases 0,10 in/0,10 out. You can also try 0,08/0,10 or 0,08/0,12.

These videos are great! But kind of confirming what I suspected. A well-built motorized bicycle ether 49cc or 79cc 4 stroke is far more reliable than a 50cc Chinese scooter.

Ethanol free fuel is perfect for anything with a small engine because it will not separate and clog jets. It also improves fuel mileage in cars with an ethenol sensor.

Viewer from the UK here! Great videos! Not sure if its been covered but these were for sale in the UK from about 2007-2016. First as the Baotian BT49QT-9, then Baotian Speedy, Pulse Scout, Lexmoto Scout and Peugeot V-Clic, amongst other names. They seem to last a while here in the UK. There are plenty of early examples still around and I have seen models for sale with over 10,000 miles on the clock. I would guess thats because law dictates they have to be built, inspected and road registered by a dealer before they can be ridden so they must at least have got a decent PDI service. If theyre still being made today and shipped to US its no wonder the build quality is terrible. The stamping and moulding machines must be in terrible condition by now.

Also an interesting bit. The Peugeot version could take a passenger in the form of an extended seat that goes over the top of the tank cap so you had to open the seat to fill with fuel

Ethanol causes engines to runs cooler. I know this from my experience pit crewing for sprint cars that ran pure alcohol fuel injection engines. They take a long time to get up to temperature. Thanks for another fun video!

Yes, Since you have to inject more ethanol to be at the same lambda, the ethanol evaporation cools the combustion chambers. It's quite substancial, that's why you can run higher compression ratios and/or higher spark advance with it to produce more hp ! Would be nice, once that experiment is over with, to see him rejet the carb, shave the head, and move the CDI to see if he can make it go faster while still keeping it legal (50cc) running on E85

Ethanol burns colder, but takes longer to combust, so the heat peaks not as high as with gasoline, but soaks in longer.

i'd love to run it in my supercharged GMC sierra, but mine is an 01 with no input for an ethanol sensor, and I haven't gone to junkyard yet to pick up a computer from a new truck to run it

True. Ethanol has fewer BTU’s than straight gas. So you save some money burning ethanol contaminated fuel, but you get less mpg so it’s pretty much a wash…..

The ethanol will lean the mixture, the reason is the ethanol requires more volume to run than gasoline for example a car that runs on e85(85% ethanol) only would run extremely rich with pump gas in it but if you put e85 in a car that runs on pump gas it would be way too lean and would run poorly so the e10 or e20 you're running in the bike would have a similar effect just not as drastic, and generally the factory jetting was set with non ethanol fuel, it's a good trick on old cars and bikes to run non ethanol fuel as well because the carburetors were jetted for gas with no ethanol back then. Also these bikes are very lean from factory to begin with so it can pass emissions, if your broke like me you can take a torch tip cleaner or micro drill bit and just slightly enlarge the main jet, I have messed with many chinese quads and scooters over the years and I always slightly ream the main jet and it always seems to help, I have not found a Chinese bike yet that doesn't like more jet from the factory.

i have a taotao powermax vip 150cc . did first oil change after 25,000 miles. it is the best moped i ever owned and would recommend it . mine cost $650 NIB , i have another and am buying a third ASAP because i stripped a stud bolt and it has other issues, plastic, seat bucket and so the backup bike will be the main one and i'll get a third as a new backup . if/when i fix the stud i'll trash the old bike some more

Friend gave me a Chinkoscoot [can't remember the model offhand. 250cc Honda clone engine, small 10" rear rim, 12" front, prone to overheating] that had "antilock braking" that consisted of a module that basically equated to built-in air in the lines. Tried to remove the "antilock" module, & ended up with really wooden, on/off braking. NOT what was wanted! Coming up with a recommendation for rectifying that situation [which my understanding was common across a wide swath of the Chinkoscoots] would be good. Haven't watched the vid yet, so if that's what you're referring to as 'replacing the brake line' then I'll be answered...

You wouldn't hear the noise, due to tyre (rubber) and brake hose outer is rubber, soon as outer is worn out and tyres sidewall grooves making contact with the brakes hose inner braided wall, that's when you hear the sound.

I have a Jinlun JL50QT-8 that I can't seem to find the exact master cylinder for. The stock has a very small reservoir to fit under the fairing . Any idea where I can find one? All the universal ones have too big a reservoir.

Brake bleeding, always fun, and yes I do my own. Quick question relating to my brake fluid OCD! there seemed to be a hell of lot of the the stuff squirting over the caliper, did you leave the pads in, or was it the camera angle and all was well?. Anyway very informative video as always, and nice to watch with a cup of coffee after being out all day on my scoot in the blazing sunshine.

there sure was! thats why i prefer to use a hose to direct the brake fluid away from the components. I just ran it without the hose for demonstration purposes. I did clean the caliper, rotor and pads thoroughly afterwards. In order to properly bleed the brake you will need to leave the pads in. Without the pads in place the brake piston can actually over extend and shoot out of the caliper. Great to hear you're taking your repairs into your own hands and thanks for the great questions!

I'm so confused you say squeeze it slow so it doesn't squirt anywhere but you have the books closed at that time do you have the cap on the master cylinder while you're doing this? I don't understand it looks like you have the cap on it

Spilled brake fluid is easy to wash away with water! Since its hydrophile itll love to stick to the water.

so, if the brake would lock down, not releasing pressure, what section to address? caliper? hose? or cylinder? What happens if you don't change brake fluid on suggested intervals? it clogs?

more often than not its a problem with the caliper, but i've also seen the a clog in the bleed hole in the master cylinder cause a similar issue. Brake fluid does deteriorate with time and heat. as it brakes down it becomes a brown sludge that can clog components. Great question!

Hey Garret could it be possible you have restrictions in your fuel delivery and that is why it's lean? Also will you derestrict it at any point? If you remove the restrictions will it be a legal motorcycle?

Great question. In a sense yes the scooter has a restriction in the fuel delivery circuit. The main jet has been sized too small either to comply with emissions or to comply with the speed restrictions for a "moped". There is nothing else to "derestrict" on this particular bike. There is no restriction wire on the cdi, on the air box, and there is no spacer on the variator.

Hi Garrett I’m back Well I checked the valves As you suggest Redid them The manual suggests intake 3 Exhaust 5 But I went 4 on the intake 5 exhaust Hope your that doesn’t calls a problem I hear a strange noise I will investigate it I thought of ordering a new motor What do you suggest

What kind of noise are you hearing? Even though the manual says .005" is an allowable clearance it makes a little too much noise for most customers. As far as motors I don't really have a suggestion. I prefer to rebuild with high quality parts from companies like NCY

Gasoline is already a fabulous solvent so as long as you're riding regularly there really is no need for additives. In addition to that additives do even less if your scooter is carbureted like most are.

Ethanol will eat the rubber hoses etc. you should run ethanol free in ALL small engines. Lawnmowers, motorcycles, fuel mix etc. I know myself I can tell a difference. I ran ethanol free and 93 both were fine. The free seemed to run just a touch better and better mpg. I tried 87 it didn’t run as smooth. I had a grom clone I 190 swapped. I recently picked up a 2009 hd 1200 custom. Riding that now but the clone is a good gateway drug 😂😂😂

And to think I only replaced the brakeline on my Kymco Agility because it was 10 years old. I went and splurged though. Spent 40 euro on a braided steel line. It was scary how much of a difference it made in hindsight. I had it bled professionally though, I don't have the tools for that. As for OEM parts cost, there is a world of difference in the cost of parts. I found that out the hard way while doing an engine rebuild (gotta learn how to wrench somehow) Kymco OEM engine parts are about the most expensive there are. Would you like a "compatible" 139QMB cylinder for 20 euro? Or maybe a Malossi GY6 cylinder for 119? Or do you have 283 euro burning a 39mm hole in your pocket? If so there's a Kymco OEM GY6 cylinder at just that price. Or if you'd prefer you can get one in a Honda box at for the same money. Still I'd say there's a very good reason why a Kymco Agility 50 costs 3 times as much as a TaoTao, and it's very noticeable once you start taking the thing apart. You can tell the difference between a TaoTao part and a Kymco part just by looking at it. One is clearly made with better materials to much more strict tolerances. Your TaoTao hasn't run properly since it came from the factory. My Kymco ate a piston ring after 50.000km... After "babies first engine rebuild" it was basically a matter of some fine tuning on the idle screw and it's been running like it was brand new.

for Chinese schooter the oil air fuel mixturev& gaaoline is different around the globe. but 87 octante is way to low, since your in america the humidity & aur pressure is different from china. there for the scooter can runs lean. i noticed a difference from 95 octane to 98 octane in airfuel ratio & performance. anything lower than 95 octane made my engine sluggish.

my first bike was a quad bike, and it had a GY6 1p57qmj . is that a 150 cc engine or did the dude who sold it to my dad lie to him ?

the 157QMJ is indeed a 150cc. The 139QMB is a 50cc with 39mm piston, the 152QMI is a 125cc with 52mm piston and the 157QMJ has a 57mm piston.

hey! thanx 4 da reply ... yeah i had this quad for about a year and a half and every so often something different fell off it .... the last 6 months or so that it worked i was riding it without the entire exhaust system cause it fell off ( straight from the cylinder head ) ...boy did it sound nasty . eventually though i think it blew up cause it used to spray oil all over my feet as i rode along ( was coming from the exhaust port i guess) i gave it away eventually ( after trying to fix it ... the'res some videos on my YT channel ) ..... yeah so that's the story man ..... love your videos .... keep up da good work ...
