Couldn’t agree more on the Woodsman broadhead. I’ve tried many over the last 5+ decades and pretty much stick with the Woodsman and Razorheads. Glad you’re back, been waiting for your next video and hope you’re feeling better.

It's fun to meander down that road of broadhead selection. Good campfire fodder. I appreciate your pointing out that hitting the right spot is paramount. Get well soon Robert!

Shot Bear Razorheads for years, also Zwickey and Woodsman and a few Snuffers. Always shot them in dirt. I get about 20-30 bags of dirt from Wally World and stack them to be a backstop to shoot into. A lot cheaper than a target and lasts a lot longer. Plus, no mess, the dirt ends up in the yard. Repairs just involve a couple more bags of dirt. Why the bags? Contained and rock free plus cheap. I can always double them up back to back for high shot areas. I leave the dirt in the plastic bags, always easy to pull arrows, even broadheads come out easy. I stack them high enough to be taller than my 3D deer target that I stand in front of the dirt. I also have a free hanging tennis ball that hangs out in front of the dirt for my walk around shooting in the yard. It gets replaced fairly often with some dense foam dice that my wife gets for me at the Dollar Tree. Yes, dirt will dull your heads but oh well, I just shoot a couple heads into the dirt for practice. There is very little mess from the bags, unlike other targets that leave stuff all over the place.
