I got it figured out that if I take two hunting bows with me and the first shot with the longbow is crap it's being tossed in the back of the pickup and I'm grabbing the xbow and I never miss with it.

Morning, Robert. Would you be able to show us how you set up your cooler for deer? I've heard some people say how they separate the meat from the ice with a layer of cardboard or sheet pans. A visual demonstration would be immensely helpful, thank you!
@robertcarte95Күн бұрын
@@bobby4116 I have ice in the cooler and simply put the deer parts in there stirring them around so they are covered. I don't keep the meat in the cooler long. Just to get it home. I process it that day or the next.

This is an extremely helpful video. You presented the info and procedures in such a way that beginners can readily understand. It gives hope and motivation for a beginner like me. And to end the video talking about God, about the Gospel, about our savior Jesus Christ is wonderful.

Yep, re plastic bag lining pack in rainstorm. Few years ago bicycled from OR to MA. Bags mounted to bike were not rain proof ... too $$$$ and heavy. Lined all bike bags with BIG plastic bags. Rode through # of very rainy days. Not a thing got wet ... except me.

Good stuff. I would like to add something I do. For reflectors, I use reflective tent guide line. It's not too expensive, doesn't take up much room in the pack and it really reflects when light is aimed at it. I cut it in 6 inch piece, burn the ends, and put them in a sandwich bag. I quick tie it too a limb, and snatch off when I'm done. It comes in different colors too.

Holding my anchor too long I swing my arrows everywhere if I'm more where I go all the way back to my anchor and as soon as I touch my anchor and I've already started you know I'm on my Target and I let it go I can consistently get a two and a half 3-inch group as soon as I start to anchor and hold for any extended time they go all over the place

I'm all the way across the country 80 miles from Reno getting ready to move back to Eastern Oregon I can't stand it here in California my mama was here and she was you know getting close to death so I stuck around I've been instinctive hunting with bows for quite some time I'm 66. I've had covid February 2020 I spent over a month in the VA hospital in Portland Oregon and the only way they could get rid of it was I demanded that they gave me hydroxychloroquine and the stuff worked I mean it was the cove went away then I was stupid enough to take the two shots after I got here in in eastern California because I wanted to fly and they had put that mandate that you can't fly unless you got the shot and I'm just now getting over covet again you know what was the purpose of these shots other someone made a whole bunch of money

Got a question. Recently acquired an old Bear Polar longbow for a good price. I like it but it's got a weird arrow shelf. Instead of being flat or slightly rounded the highest point is almost even with the back of the bow. It slopes up from the belly or grip at a high angle almost like a triangle. What was their reasoning? Should I reshape it?
