As a Senior Master Sergeant in Civil Air Patrol, I can confirm this is how every PT meeting goes. Especially the part when you call a sergeant/chief a sir, it really gets annoying. I've gotten used to it at this point. I can guarantee you I've been called a sir way more times than I've been called a Sergeant.

The same thing happened to me at pt except I ate healthy like, fruits and veggies before... I was fine the whole time until the very end of the very end of the mile run. Yeah I threw up but it was worth it I beat my mile time so yeah XD every one was so worried and I was fine they made me stay inside for a few minutes but I killed pt that night

Well, I’m actually in this force in my surgeon was recently promoted to a chief, and I’m pretty sure everyone in the comments he’s in CAP knows what happened

I remember in camp curry too it was like 10 pm and these kids sleeping next to me and my wingman kept cracking jokes and fart noises and nobody would fess up to it so the turned every light on and made every basic airman at the time do 30 push-ups. Then they screamed at us at 6am in the morning like we were going to war. But all in all it was a good experience and I’m glad it’ll always be a part of my life

I'm a Cadet First Sergeant in my squadron and I have to run PT. You would not believe how many cadets come up to me and have a full-on story to give me that they are sick or they can't do PT. I got in a car accident and I still did PT here and there because I didn't want to just not do it. I just make them do more sit-ups and squats. When you complain to me about your tum tum... I will laugh at you because you were supposed to know that it was PT night. Some cadets are actually sick and get a pass but at this point, I can tell who's faking it.

You should do a Traex, skills and drills or encampment version of this

Once my flight got lectured when we called the First Sergeant Ma'am because she was also a flight commander. On our first PT night, it started thunder storming, power went out and everything, but the school was locked so we had to just stand outside and wait for our parents to come get us. At my basic encampment, there were these two kids in my flight who would complain so badly that the flight staff would just stop answering when they raised their hands. My piece of advice to anyone who joins civil air patrol, just don't call too much attention to yourself unless it's positive. Complaining or being dumb like Horton will only make the flight staff hate your guts.

I remember in camp curry I would always have to drop and do ten cause I’d call the cadet Master Sergeants Mam/Sir and I’d always say good afternoon in the evening. I remember I said good Morning sure to my cadet captain the asshole and I was scared to death of him he pulled me aside and said don’t ever let me catch you say that again. And then I salutes him in doors and he got mad at me for that too and he threatened to kick me out for running in uniform.

I was in C.A.P and I wish I would’ve studied mor and stayed on my shit cause I look back now and i wish I could do everything all over I remember I only went to camp curry twice and the first time was cool but the power was out all weekend. I got a 100 on my drill and barely passed my pt I never got to do encampment I was honestly too scared our program in Texas got a cadet captain I think he even made major the one diamond but I remember he was such an ass we were on the track one day and 1 kid gave him an attitude and had made us run of and down a steep ass hill 8 times until he passed out.

Never call a seargent a sir or vise versa. Always call a chief a chief
