AISNO lost their minds and this boss has 393 def and mdef. I highly suggest you just run bleed for the counterpick. I just really wanted to break in the Yao and showcase some of her empower gameplay tech...and even then this route has highly questionable team and buff choices cuz I needed a sturdier punching bag to show off the work around for the forced attack bonus purge. Plus I'm sick of bleed stomping everything.
Or if you do play Yao, don't mess around sandbagging with Owo Raven. Bring your high mitigation hard counters like Cab and Joan.
Outside of obnoxious ambiguous targeting aoes from the elites, the main mechanic is the boss will periodically link itself to all mobs onscreen (red blood orb above their head), and will have full invulnerability until all linked mobs are dead. So not only is his mitigation absurd, but you can't even damage or core break him for large sections of the fight at all.
Anyways, the main things I wanted to show off is taking advantage of the ult's damage zone not moving so she can nuke adds then go autoattack single target something else down in the meantime, and the timing to not have limp ults.
Her ult has a forced self purge that removes her attack bonus at the very end of the animation that cannot be avoided, so if you want efficient spamming, wait for her ult animation to end completely. You can also see her autoattack overlapping with the ult animation during the slowmo, so that is not a reliable indicator. The removal occurs quite a bit after the final hit connects, so damage numbers isn't a great indicator either. Furthermore, using ecb during ult will cancel her ult animation entirely, leaving you with no visual cues on when to do the next eat, so the second break mode eat is more or less a blind guesstimate here.
The slowmo before eating Thistle shows the animation cue of when to eat. But to be competely honest, this should be superfluous information for quite some time since Yao is so overpowered. My Yao's ult damage actually drops all the way down to 20k from 34-37k if I mistime and lose her attack bonus mid ult, so it's pretty significant, but for now, most your Yaos should be able to just oogabooga spam and still kill even losing over 40% her damage, especially if also running Yanyan.
Also wanted to show and point out that Hecate's mag pen buff and Owo's ecb buff persist after death, making them rather convenient emergency rations.

A series for 240k farm routing on a f2p account. Originally designed to make high BFL approachable and practical, now I just make ideas to make dark 240k possible with modest sinners.
