From there, they talk about the success of their debut album, Born Into the 90s, while revealing that they had little involvement in the creative process considering that it was almost done by the time they met Kelly. Later on, they share their thoughts on all the alleged abuse depicted in Surviving R. Kelly, while adding insight through their eye-witness accounts of Kelly during the early days of his career.

Lakea Brown yeah but some of those older girls were lied to about the younger girls age remember the girl Lisa van who was having sex with sparkles niece r kelly had lied about her age until the little girl started talking about how she couldn’t wait to get a car when she turned 16 and that’s how Lisa said she found out her real age she was 14 at the time and r kelly told Lisa van that sparkles niece was 17 and she said after she found out is when the sex stop so she she didn’t know

The guy in the sunglasses is being very evasive. He knew a lot more about his meal ticket’s wrong doing and kept quiet. Anytime you let a man dictate where you should put your eyes when his female at the time walks into a room, you’re a servant to that man in my eyes. Right! What I find awkward is the lack of interest VLAD shows for their personal & creative accomplishments. But I get that VLAD is doing his job, just trying to clarify between what "the word on the street" and actual events. VLAD wants to get it right. I am not even mad at him. VLAD probaly pays decent $$ for these interviews. I like this interview....a lot.

It's only fair that Justice is given to this young man of God. He might have done something wrong in life as we all have at times however it's God forgave his only be forgotten son then who are we when none of the accusers of R Kelly has a doctor's report a police report an affidavit from a friend or nothing to give this man 30 years in jail only means that all involved in this fraud case should also go to jail. Emotion for release during the duration of this child should be placed ASAP. We will place him in his own private jail in Chicago Illinois with the help of the good Lord. And of course his most magnificent attorney may God bless her richly and the whole world is solicited to pray in the behalf of his attorney the entire world and Robert Kelly, a man of God who had sex with female and I believe is being tortured because he didn't have sex with males! Of course I'm exaggerating but you never know since there's no police reports and no doctor statements and last but not least New York has no jurisdiction over what goes on in Chicago and they will know it along with our cricket States Attorney and the other crooked so-called elected officials that have tortured this man imprisonment of over 6 months all because of the court procedures and the corruption. If the victims were so hurt back in the day why didn't they call the police or why isn't there a police report or a doctor's bill or something outside of their no good words. Aaliyah parents was very involved in her music career however you can’t spend every waking moment with your child.Im seeing some really awful comments about her mom which is crazy to me because I know Mrs.Haughton personally and have known the Haughtons for years. People keep over looking the fact that Aaliyah’s Uncle “Barry Hankerson “ was the reason why Aaliyah was involved musically with RKelly.Basically the Uncle ask RKelly to work on Aaliyah’s first album and after meeting with Aaliyah’s parents they felt comfortable with Barry’s decision. Being that Barry Hankerson is Aaliyah’s mom brother they trusted him.Barry found out that RKelly was pursuing Aaliyah and kept quiet about it, he didn’t even let her parents know because all he saw was $$$,but Aaliyah’s parents found out about the twos relationship and marriage and had the marriage anulled and they took Aaliyah out the music industry for 2 years to get her act together. Aaliyah’s parents even started distancing themselves from Barry Hankerson but Aaliyah’s was under contract with Barry because Barry started BlackGround Records which he started for Aaliyah because Aaliyah was having a difficult time getting a record deal. At the time of Aaliyah’s death she was in the process of leaving Blackground Records.Aaliyah was done with her contract with him. That’s the TRUTH. Aaliyah had a beautiful relationship with her mother and I know Aaliyah wouldn’t want people talking so awful about her mother especially if they don’t know the truth. Aaliyah’s mom not only lost her daughter in the plane crash but also a cousin who she asked to go to the Bahamas with Aaliyah as like a parental guidance because she was having eye surgery and her father was sick and couldn’t fly at the tome. Then a few years later Diane husband aka Aaliyah’s Dad died. So that’s the truth coming from a creditable source lol. Thanks for not being disrespectful like a lot of people do when talking about her mother. People say “Aaliyah’s mother was money hungry and this and that” and I’m like ummmmmm Aaliyah parents had money even before Aaliyah was born. lol a lot of people have inaccurate information.

R- kelly & Public Announcement "Born into the 90s" is the greatest R&B group album of all time!!!! "Honey love" was classic "Dedicated" was classic but the track "Slow Dance" is the greatest R&B song of all time in my opinion i never heard R kelly sound more amazing than he did on that song he never sang his fuckin ass off like he did on that track & that knockin ass beat & P.A.s backup vocals on the chorus was the masterpiece of masterpieces of the boom bap era!!!!! R- Kellys solo debut album was the greatest solo R&B album of all time!!! it definitely had the best track list of any R&B album of all time that's the only r&b album that was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 from start to finish every track even the two out dated hip hop tracks that kelz rapped on were even catchy!!!!

I remember I was in college to become a lawyer in the early 90’s. I had homies who were street guys. When I would come home I would hang with them because, why not, we grew up together!. My homies knew I wasn’t into the street things they were, and they never had me involved around it. But, it was one time that changed my mindset. I had graduated and was in law school. I’m home and I’m at the store. This dude walks up to me asking to cop a dime bag. I’m like WHAT. Nah, I don’t do that. His reply was like, “come on homie, you be with boogie and Jrock. I know you got something for me”. Right then and there, I knew what “guilt by association” was, and knew what I had to do. I talked with my homies and told them. We can play ball, but I can’t be going to the clubs and stuff with y’all man. I can’t afford to lose my career over some stuff I’m not even involved with. Luckily, even though they were hustlers, they understood and never thought of me as being better. Sometimes you have to cut some things off. Like everyone is saying about these two dudes. Everyone is looking at them wide eyed because they were around R Kelly for so long.
