I don't know about Sparkle's story and how her situation went down, but I confronted a sexual predator within my family and my family said I was wrong for putting our dirty laundry out there. They accused me of being insubordinate to an elder and that I had a hard heart and was unforgiving as if I was perfect. When I say that kind of thing messes with your head. Y'all don't hear me. For many years, I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Then especially when your support comes from your family. When your job or your resources comes from them, it is the most terrible position to be in. I began to feel that I was the evil person, that I had did something wrong. To this day, I still feel like a villain because I **dared**, I had the audacity to confront a child molester. I wasn't even the victim and I felt all twisted up on the inside, I can only imagine my family members who were his victims feel. That mob mentality will make you doubt your own name. You have no freaking idea. I walked away from that situation, quite unsure if I would **EVER** repeat my actions and confront a person of wrong doing ever again. That's how people are silenced. That's how its done.

She obviously been telling the truth for years. It pisses me off when people and women are so naive and blind and still support r Kelly and say the documentary was a lie. I was 17 in the Barbershop when the tape came out and they played it in there and I knew back then it was him.

I cried so many times watching that documentary! I'm Brazilian, so I it was the first time I heard about the case. How come that man isn't in jail being tortured by the other guys is beyond my mind! I believe people who assume Sparkle has some responsabibility about it didn't watch the documentary. It is clear Sparkle has no fault about what happened. She only wanted to help her niece's career and as soon as she was told the poor girl was alone in the studio, she stepped in to protect her. It is told on the documentary. I'm really sorry it cost you your family for so much time. But you did what you had to do.
