They constantly report on car crashes, peons crimes, house and building fires and more ....every...single...night. I do tons of research on way more impactful fraud and it affects all of us! But I rarely have seen one story on things I learned to research. They are purposely making millions of people form a false idea of "reality". It's all about the tiny percentage of rich and powerful people keeping society in blissful ignorance, as much as possible. High viewership is extremely effective. So is the daily repetition!

When I worked for the City of Dallas in the Building Services Department, I saw this kind of stuff happening all the time. We had to punch a time clock, so we had to be at the shop at starting time and quitting time. Every morning we would pick up the work tickets for the buildings our area and then drive out to them in our city work trucks. There was never much maintenance to do each day and I could usually be done in just a few hours. But, we were told specifically to NOT come back to the shop until quitting time! The boss said it looked bad to have employees sitting around the shop waiting on work tickets. Some employees went to strip clubs, some went home and some just parked somewhere and napped. I would go to my assigned buildings and visit with employees there, to see if any preventive maintenance was needed. That's why I had so few work tickets. My most visited buildings were libraries and fire stations. I could check out books to read (I'm an avid reader) or eat lunch with the firemen. Some of those guys could've been professional chefs!

I was a public works supervisor and I had this one guy whom I had 'inherited' - 20 year plus employee, functionally illiterate, who was our designated lawn mowing person though out our tiny town. Any job to be done, he had it figured out to how much time it would take, in hours and would tell me. Town had a population of 800, so it's not that big. I had just installed radios in all of the vehicles to make it easier to locate people in the field if someone needed help. One day myself and the other two workers were at the shop trying to figure out where he was. We each tried calling him on the radio - no response. After 20 minutes we gave up the search. About 45 minutes later he calls back (on the radio) asking me if I had called him! The other 2 employees and myself had been together in the shop during most of this time. We looked at each other laughing our asses off, with him giving us a blank look in return. Now if this had been done on the cell phones; (which he didn't have and couldn't operate) I could see this response to a 'missed call'. I busted him right there and then saying; 'You heard us calling on the radio, and chose not to answer'; 'Do you see the word STUPID tattooed on my forehead?' He got his verbal warning and was much better about replying after that. Filed under 'you can't make this up'.

Believe it or not I worked for Kenny for about 18 months to get enough experience to get a better paying job doing less. Kenny is sharp as a tack. He’s forgotten more than most will EVER know. He can tell that a traffic signal is out of sync from a half mile away. My very first impression of him was he’s an asshole and he’s gonna fire me. He wasn’t really an asshole, he is just a dick. He’s not really a people person but if yer in his circle, he’ll bend over backwards to help you. But what you just saw is exactly what you got. Back then we worked five 8-hour days and I bet we only did two service calls per day. Other people on here are commenting about where is his boss during all this? Kenny hired his boss from a different municipality. No names, we’ll call him Dan. Start of shift: Kenny drops Dan off at Dans house and picks him up on his way back to the shop an hour before the end of shift. Just enough time to clock out. I had been gone for about eight years when this all took place but I was told that the county manager warned Kenny about the investigation but he only straightened up a flew correctly for a few days and once Monday came back around it was business as usual.

He would roll in about 10 am, then go to lunch, then go to the base gym then go home about 2-3 pm. If it was Friday, then he would hang around in his office til about 4, then head to the golf course snack bar and drink pitchers and pitchers of beer with my commander and some of the people in my squadron that weren't scheduled to work on Fridays. Good memories!

He's one of thousands, maybe millions of deadbeat employees. Yesterday I saw a guy sleeping in a governments ban with the engine running, I'm sure for the air conditioning. When I came out of the business I went into about 1/2 hour later, he was still sleeping. I doubt he would be on a lunch break at 9:00 o'clock in the morning, plus with high gas prices, why would somebody leave the engine running like that for so long?!
@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Жыл бұрын
Because your a**ain't paying for da gas! Usually, drugs and alcohol have a correlation. Normal people generally aren't sleeping in the middle of the day.

I believe him about the overtime. They probably stuffed him on the pay, so he decided he’d get it back somehow. I worked for a city before for over 15 years, as a youth worker. When a union was brought in. All of us long timers found out that we had vacation, sick and sick time that they never told us about. I was in a really bad accident one year, and when I took time off. They never paid me, because apparently “” we don’t have sick time.” It was a complete lie!!! I wouldn’t of done it this way, but good for him. I hope he enjoys retirement! We also had overtime, which we never received as well.

Their needs to be more accountability like this in Citys by the new investigation including police departments. As for me, I work for a City hovernment for 14 years and had never ever seen anything like this abuse, but I did witness Workman Compensation Fraud and reported it.
