You have no idea how high my respect is for this revolutionary hiphop group! They started a resistance against racism and going against the media. Every record they made contained a message and they combined it with dangerous rhymes and beats, but also with funky and dope beats. Bum rush the show, It takes a nation and fear of a black planet are without a doubt the most important and best hiphop albums of all time! Ok look i am 49 white and english.. when thks broke it was 88 and i was 14 ... Folk bang on about punk in the 1970s but THIS was mine, i loved The Cure Prince INXS U2 but from the off PEade me LISTEN to storoes of blavk histoey and struggles, great beats BUT educational. I would do my paper round everyday with this album on the walkman. Great times, thank you Chuck Thank you flava

I come here whenever I start to think I was born at the wrong time. Watching and listening to this makes me glad I was alive to catch it- right at the perfect moment in life, when I most needed it. Respect.

Last I heard, they broke up. Flav o flav wanted to sellout and Chuck wasn't having it. That was a few years ago. No idea what's happened since then.

Flav, “Yo Chuck they must be on the pipe right?” Then “No you can’t have it back..Silly Rabbit” 🤣 So damn dope. PE ✌🏾 love these guys. Met Chuck D once in 2004 in a Restaurant in Philadelphia. We chatted briefly and discussed politics. He was with the Green Party he told me. So pleasant. He let me take a picture with him. I have it forever. Will cherish that brief encounter with the legendary Rap artist. ✌🏾
