Good video. Hillies golf club probably could add but tenuous as could add all licensed premises including Indian restaurants! Sad to see railway, countryman, periwinkle all gone.

We've got 2 pubs in wombwell called George the one shown in this clip is the one best for nightlife and is local to the town centre known as the little George run by Paul and Pauline good selection of refreshments and a good social atmosphere a good time is had by all customers a great time in there its not a pub for kids so if you are planning a good evening don't forget to get them a babysitter.

Spent most friday nights in the catholic club they always had a good dj in everyone in the area knew it as paddysand parents gave it a name for grab a grannys which it wasnt but during the week they did old time da;cing in there, thats probably why they said it was grab a grannys but friday night it was all the popular music from ska, motown, mod, it was the best night for miles i used to bring palls from sheffand they said that the atmosphere in paddys was less than a pound for entry for non members and better than in sheff, cant go there now the brewery turned it into a car park, those were the days when you could go out and dance until the last order
