My rule while drinking, "For every alcohol drink, I drink a small glass of water (8oz = 1/4 liter)". Keeping hydrated while drinking makes all the difference.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX!!! and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU BOTH. For my sixtieth birthday, my wife took me to Dublin Ireland. My great grandfather's grandfather left Ireland in the 1820's, and few of us have been back since. It was overwhelming being in the land of my ancestors (Wales, Scotland, England and Denmark are now on a list). Perhaps, when Covid is over, we can have the pleasure of hosting the two of you here, in Toronto Canada, for a birthday or anniversary. Toronto is at a similar latitude to Florence Italy and in the summer, is just as hot. In Winter, however, it's cold, but we have ways of enjoying even that.

Anyone who sees a jacket like that knows it probably has a colourful history with someone and would be bad form to just lift it! Pubs are opening up down in Cork as well Clisare! I don't yet know what the new normal would be, but anything is an improvement over the last year.

I hop you have a good summer. Don't know how you plan to spend it. I usually spend it going to summer festivals and of course the Calgary Stampede. This summer looks better as more restrictions are being lifted. A beer indoors, maybe not. But there are lots of patios around. Lots of people spending days outside, drinking, eating and enjoying the sunshine.

Yes I expected nothing less lads. I've to wait for the vaccination as I'm in the vulnerable group. But I'm looking forward to a cocktail. Another Claire cracker at the start I see.. "oh never mind.. I was about to say something really stupid. Least they're both in Europe" . Least that side of geography knowledge is going strong 😂😂😂😂 Ps this is like the ghosts of Xmas past watching this. I used to work in the office park right beside Belfield and spent the odd few days in the Clonskeagh House! Always the chance an Irish vlogger goes to places you know of course. You were pretty hammered. Are you sure it wasn't you who left your jacket in the bush? I've noticed more than one Irish KZfaqr use the word "rob" to mean "steal." In the U.S., you rob a victim, a store, a bank, etc. That is, the object of the verb is the victim of the theft, not the thing that was stolen. Is this another regional language difference? Just curious. I like the expression, "going pinting." It seems different from going drinking, somehow.

Clisare please launch a Gaelige channel! I have inherited my great, great grandfather's funny little house and 1.12 acres of land. Apparently a guy has taken over part of the land - although he doesn't have a legal right to - although I respect that he is more from the area than I am - and so I have to go over there and talk to him, however his English is limited. The problem is - I supposedly look Irish but I was born in England :( anad my father is Lithuanian :( and I am panicking. I want to be repectful and work with everyone. I speak fluent English, French (my degree was in French) Lithuanian and Latin, however my Gaelige is very limited. I would like to learn it for cultural reasons too - I love languages and even though I speak one of the deadest languages going - Latin - its influence is everywhere to be seen. It's a bit like my ancestry - it goes back a bit but its influence is very much still there!
