PUERTO DE LA CRUZ, TENERIFE

2 ай бұрынToday I’m in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. I’m walking to the harbour El Muelle and through the town towards the beach at Martianez. It is an overcast day and a very quiet period. The lull before the storm as we move towards the summer holidays. This town will be bursting soon with tourists enjoying the summer break.

Hi Steve - we were in Puerto for 10 weeks over last winter and had just one shower of rain, you are so right not a lot of rain in Puerto de la Cruz

In May and June the skies in the north are very often overcast, since the sun is high up, much more than in the other 10 months of each year.

I even prefer these overcast and windy days in PdlC. You still can go to the Lido ..... not blinded by the light ! Nice walk Steve.
