Ingredients: (Mofongo)
* 2 large plantains (or 3 medium ones)
* 1 garlic clove for each plantain
* salt to taste
* 1/4 cup (more or less) extra virgin olive oil (you can also use a bit of the broth from the shrimp stew)
* 1/4 cup chopped bacon, cooked
Ingredients: (Camarones ‘a la criolla’
* 1 lb frozen shrimp
*1 tsp sofrito
* 1.5 tap tomato sauce
* Season salt to taste
* lemon juice to taste
* 1 - 2 tsp real butter
* 1/4 packet Sazón

As a Puerto Rican raised in the states I definitely need to try cooking this recipe o haven't had it in years but I'ma have to make mine with caldo de pollo because I can't have shrimp 🦐 this video is a great recipe tutorial keep up the good work

Awe, yes you do!! You can make the caldo de pollo similarly to this! You just have to add a lil more sofrito/spices and you’ll be good. ☺️

Mofongo is one of the most traditional awsomeness wether its with seafood or stuffed with beef pork of chicken its just soooo delicios. 🤤(slurp)
