I love that the second to last boss is a real animal called a siphonophore. They are a colonial organism much like the Portuguese man of war. They are one of the longest animals on earth and the fact they made it a collection of minds being tossed in the waves is such a neat nod to the actual biology of the creature

Wish Puffer fought that Mantis Shrimp, Topoda. I blame chat in the last stream thinking he’s been in that place before which he didn’t and saying it’s only treasure in the village. Not all true. There was something better and more to it. Finding and beating Topoda will let you upgrade all your Adaptations and unlock the best Adaptation in the game, the Mantis Punch. It would’ve made Puffer’s experience better, easier, and perhaps more fun. Even making these boss fights easier and less frustrating. But this stream, chat lets Puffer know about the secret Knight Helmet shell and lets him get it but not find Topoda in the last stream? Stupid chat. They ruined it. If they can give Puffer a better interest in the lost village, they could’ve just said “There’s a secret boss”. 11:24 Kril used the Mantis Punch in this cutscene even though Puffer never fought Topoda and got the Mantis Punch Adaptation. 1:45:17 This is Topoda that Puffer missed and skipped. Oh and by the way, the Skull Shell is in the village. AKA Joel. It would've been perfect for Puffer to find it.

Camtscha is one boss in phase 2 that if you don’t learn to parry all the hits to stagger him fast; it actually very challenging. I don’t blame Puffer at all for losing to him; I was so bad at most fights and the moment I learnt to parry and counter, combat clicked.
