Hi there, I just bought the PUK 5.1 machine from December month. I’m learning how to used it’s. I’m still learning how to Miro laser welding for 36Awg fine wires and still learning how to use this machine. Any recommendations for laser welding on fine wires...? Thanks

For 36 AWG wires,which is very fine (about 0.13 mm) you must put the settings to minimum; 0.5 ms and from 1% power. The latest PUK 5.1 features a micro welding mode which even allows lower settings. The electrode should be sharpened with a fine diamond grinding disc. The wires must feature a clean straight cut (not cut with a nipper) and hold tightly together, but with not too much pressure. The aim is to place the tiny welding spot exactly where the wires are touching, not too much to one side.
