As a dancer who competes a lot, I'm so confused with the judging. This had everything, skills, technique, control over the power of the moves and even a great concept. It's not just a dance routine, it's a whole art performance with a tangible story in it. And this is coming from a Stay, I accepted already before the announcement that this performance is something that can't be won over.

로투킹 덥즈 다음으로 ㄹㅇ 제대로 된 서사 있는 무대인 것 같아서 보는 내내 뭔가 가슴이 벅찼음... 이 무대를 위해서 얼마나 노력했을지도 생각이 났지만 이런 무대 구성을 생각해냈다는 게 이 셋한테 너무 고맙고 노력했다고 말해 주고 싶었음... 그냥... 레전드

They can choose hiphop but instead they choosing contemporary to portray their emotion their feeling. They do something we wouldn't expect from a boy group who usually having a intense dance.

It's a crime that this performance has less views and we are watching this art for free...

이 무대가 진짜 대박인게 연산군이 어머니를 잃고 미쳐가는 과정을 세 개의 자아로 나눠서 표현한다는 아이디어 자체가 미쳤고 나 같은 역사덕후의 마음을 울렸음.. 기존의 한국스러운(한복입은) 아이돌 무대와는 다른게 당시 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 연산군의 감정을 해석해서 표현한 예술작품 느낌임.. 대취타는 랩으로 표현했다면(광해군) 왕과비는 춤으로 표현했고 연출, 안무, 연기 -> 감정전달이 완벽했다고 생각함 진짜 이런 무대는 더 알려져야 하는데ㅠㅠ 작명도 너무 멋졌다

진짜 1차 경연 싹 다 진거 이거 맞나 싶었다,,,^^ ㄹㅇ적은 암넷임ㅂㄷㅂㄷ팀끼리도 경쟁 붙여놓고 그걸로도 모자라서 유닛으로 대결까지 시키고 누구 한명이 실수하게 되서 무개념 팬들이 욕하면 그런거 듣는 아티스트들이나 그런 상황을 보면 맴찢어질 팬들이나 그런거 진짜 하나도 신경 안쓰는거같음ㅠㅠ 이번 무대 진짜 태양님도 동혁님도 우리 쭈요도 진짜 너무 잘했는데ㅠㅠ 한편의 소설을 뮤지컬로 본 줄 알았다구요ㅠㅠ 기승전결 딱딱 완벽하고 1명이지만 3개의 자아를 표현한게 너무 소름돋았었는데.. 나만 댄스팀은 무조건 이길거라거 생각했나...ㅠㅠ

I just realize they not only portray the life of King Yeonsan-gun but also portray the 4 phases of his grief over his mother's death. Man, this is totally a masterpiece.

These judges really have to sit their ass down and watch it again because they seem to have MISSED THE AMOUNT OF TALENT IN THIS PERFORMANCE. At this point I really feel betrayed, it haunts me Ps. 보면볼수록 기억에 남는데.. 결과를 이해할 수가 없네요ㅜㅜ실력은 물론이고 표현력이며 연산군에 대한 해석, 기교, 무대연출까지 완벽했는데 너무 아쉬워요. 그래도 고생많았습니다! 정말 멋졌어요!!

Amazed me how they were able to create an entire PLOT from a 4 minute performance. No lyrics to tell you the story. Just pure movement. Truly had tears in my eyes at one point from the different range of emotions this performance put me through. It really does leave a lingering feeling once it's over

To my mind this team were the real winners; the performance was so refreshing and was powerful in its meaning without having to be explosive or loud... so dissapointed for them :'(

If you think about it, these 3 groups (ikon, sf9 and tbz), you can tell their focus is so different. I mean, this one unit, the three of them are dancers, not just because they know how to dance (technically they are just amazing) but because they are, individually, really passionate about dancing and they work hard to have their own styles. And that’s what they tried to show: a detailed choreography, actual dancing moves. This performance was in a level you can only see with professionals, in theaters. This is what a dancer would do. It was just artistically superior and it had zero unnecessary parts. I'm so much in love with this.

I'm honestly not surprise why this video has low views. Fewer people really appreciate contemporary style. People are more on to aggressive dance than classical art performances. I firsthand experience it so I'm not surprise. It's just sad that very few appreciate this. This is not just a dance performance this is storytelling, cultural rep. and a masterpiece. This performance shows different aspect of dance. People who loved this have great eyes and have deeper understanding. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Mayfly's performance would definitely catch the attention of young ones because they are doing a cover of exo's song combined with their intense moves. And they have that appeal for younger audiences. On the other hand this performance is art. People who loves art and subtlety can only appreciate this. They may not have that big intense moves but those graceful moves that they portray is powerful enough to touch our emotions. The musicality is also art. I just wish the evaluators were balanced enough for judging. They can put a rookie panel but they should also balanced it with seniors and dance experts so that the result would be more credible and not only favorable to a certain team. It would also be easy for the losing team's fans to accept the result if only mnet did that.

the fact that the difference between the number of performer in team A and their team but they still manage to give memorable performance is just on another level.... THE B X IKONICS X FANTASY LETS STREAM THIS PERFORMANCE AS A WHOLE FAMILY..

Edit :They're actually represent one person that is a king (Yeonsangun of Joseon era) who lost his mother. They showed different lingering feelings between egos : Taeyang went out fight to death (tyrant), Juyeon drowned his grief (loneliness) and DK lost his senses (madness). They showed sadness and longing for the mother. My previous interpretation was how the dance spoke to me. This is how the dance should be. It can spoke to us indirectly even pierce our hearts with emotions. Credit also to @Gly that helped me translate this art.

I'm glad this team went for a different style or concept from what is commonly expected by boy groups. Win or lose, they showcased their versatility here and the way everything was put together (dance moves, storyline, facial expressions, instrumental music) was impressive. To me this is something I would literally pay for to watch

this performance is truly unmatched, the originality, the storyline, the emotions, the different identities and style yet they become one. this is THE dance performance, no wait its a MASTERPIECE. no amount of popularity will tell otherwise. they're artists, they ate this up and left no crumbs.

I had only watched the Mayfly performance. I recently stumbled across this and even though I'm a Staytiny, I immediately screamed "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THIS WIN?!"

I'm a melody, and I love the confidence that the Mayfly crew gave my boi Peniel during the performance. However, this is just objectively AMAZING storytelling. For me, I would have loved to have seen its one win this round

Both team did great but the judge who doesnt have eyes especially that rookies have to admit that this group really show a lot of things in their performance. Different emotions, story, art, culture, colour, and of course diffrent type of dance like ninja, hip hop, classical Sorry to say eventhough Im Stay but I choose this performance more than Mayfly.

juyeon doesnt flip his table for nothing. honestly this performance is more better than mayfly for me 😬. ofc my boy did great (skz) but still i cant deny its one deserves more for this round. disappointed with mnet. 💔

recently started watching kingdom right after queendom 2 due to boredom and curiosity. as i do not stan any of the groups that participated, i was more objective in evaluating the performances (i often have my own rankings each round like what i also did in qd2) and honestly i was beyond disappointed that this team lost with a huge margin. as an enjoyer of dance performances and as someone who has experiences in this field, this team pulled off a performance that goes beyond "dancing" itself as it emphasized the storyline, technicalities, and the artistic value of it. i was very moved on how fluid they are which goes well with contemporary. tbh they shined the most in dance category, but it's just a shame that not a lot of people acknowledge the deepness of art in this type of dance, which i also saw coming (based on my experiences as well). i was really pissed at the results but they left a legendary performance nonetheless, and I'm glad that a lot of people here (especially the dancers and performers themselves) appreciate and commend this performance. i feel like i just have to vent this out because the results felt really unfair to me even though i'm a year late lol but kudos to taeyang, juyeon, and dk for this masterpiece!

These three truly have the best dance lines of the dancers in kingdom. Their elegance is unmatched
