Almost makes you wish it was chain driven. The work on my grandfathers 70 is going well. Looks like in a few weeks, we will head down to work on it again. I have to replace the parts from the carborator my uncle stole to get his 730 running. I also will hopefully get the clutch working. After that, I'm avoiding tearing apart the steering pedestal for a task I have most everything for and the few parts I don't have, aren't expensive to get. Rewiring the entire tractor. All 9 wires and the 3 grounds.

Nice video Randy! Glad you got your 2510 home safely even if it had to be towed home with a red tractor. If that belt comes off again or even breaks, I would look into getting a 400 amp alternator if the inverter is pulling power that hard from the alternator. Glad you didn't use red loctight on that idler pulley bolt because the bolt would most likely snap off if you were to attempt to remove it later on. As for alternator pulleys, I would stick with the one you currently using. A larger pulley won't spin the alternator as fast as the one you currently have, and installing a larger pulley could result in intermittent voltage drops with your air conditioning system. Especially at engine idle speeds.
