it's way funnier if you understand portuguese, the levels are full of hidden jokes. Even the boss named Michael Douglas, is a joke itself, because it is also a drug here in Brazil very popular on festivals and raves. The game also has a strong political side, clearly against the actual brazilian president, that most people dislike, and really underestimated the virus when it first started causing some serious deaths and being even called genocide

If you can ignore the blatant messaging in the game, it looks and plays well enough. But the setting and story really doesn't make sense at all. Why would they be in close contact to those they even think have a disease. For the message, a beat-em-up just is antithetical to what they are trying to say. A stealth action keep-away game would've made more sense.

This game is peak "2020 brazilian far left". 90% of the "jokes" require you to be brazilian to get it, even among brazilians, it appeals exclusively to the MOST progressives because even your average labour party voter would cringe at that artstyle. On top of all, it has the 2020 mask freenzy that now looks outdated and silly. It is a game trapped in a specific time, in a specific place, for a specific political view.

Brazilian here! This game is actually Brazilian, let me give some context. The enemies are wearing green and yellow because those are the colours that the supporters of Bolsonaro wears, the game by itself is the conscious population kicking the ass of these people. In Brazil we call those people "minions" because they are against masks, against vaccinations and do and follow all the Bolsonaro says, usually extreme right wing people. The bosses are also based on big names that support Bolsonaro and are against all measures taken against corona. This whole game is a satire of the current Brazilian political situation. It is funny for a Brazilian cause they are going to understand it but for people outside Brazil it just looks weird.

Games feels a bit too preachy, I think it would have been more interesting if they made fun of both aisles. It would have been funny if there was something like a Karen boss that's wearing 100 masks, and your job is to knock off the extra ones. Or maybe they let you beat up Stephen Colbert so he can't do his "Vax Scene" segment.

This game is an special political satire against the extreme and far right wing. It’s just perfect for Brazil moments approaching new elections, and it suits everywhere that has got his share of political stubidity on the last 4 years.

Even if the game misses its mark with its plot points (even if I do relate to the feeling of wanting to give inconsiderate jerks a piece of my mind) and the humour, it still seems to be pretty solid in its gameplay and visuals. It's nice to be able to adjust some of the settings as well. Hopefully the bugs can be ironed out and maybe the devs will consider adding some online play and more content later down the line. Given the lack of content and the bugs, I might give this one a miss for the time being. The devs have definitely got some solid ideas and I reckon they've got some good ground for their next potential project. Thanks for the review.

Comedy writing is a bit more complicated than most people seem to think. It can be easy to fall into the trap of name-dropping something ridiculous that you might find funny just when it pops into your head, but that's because your mind already has meta associations with it that you subjectively link to being humorous. When you actually try to flesh it out into comedy, it needs to be given a comedic set-up or it will probably bomb. For example, even though I think flat-Earthers are ridiculous, just putting one by into a game isn't necessarily funny. Instead, putting in a flat-Earther character who becomes an astronaut and then gets stuck in orbit around the Earth would be considerably more funny because that situation is the comedic set-up. The game seems to have some technical competence behind its creation and maybe with some better comedy writing in the future this developer can create a game that hits on all levels.
