Pulp - Babies - live on at the Warehouse, Leeds April 23rd 1993. Recorded on TDK E-HG E180, SP mono audio. This was a regional show, not broadcast across the full UK, so a friend in Leeds recorded it for me and sent me a copy. Tape archive 704.

I was in that audience, about 30 of us for a trial of a new TV programme. The band asked us to give them moral support as it was their first true TV appearance. We were their Sheffield rent a mob. We didn't know what we were supposed to do either hence the low key dancing. Quite a night.

Well, that was all right for a while But soon I wanted more I wanna see as well as hear and so I I hid inside her wardrobe As she came home round four And she was with some kid called David Oh, from the garage up the road I listened outside, I heard her Alright Someone hidden in a wardrobe, a guy named David, reminds me of a movie!!
