@@jeffc2460I've read several comments regarding Vincent being trigger-happy. There were no bumps in the road. It's a side effect of him doing heroin all the time. (So is his continual constipation, why he's always in the bathroom with a book.)
@fourthgirl
@fourthgirl 10 ай бұрын
Vincent bought heroin from his drug dealer. Normally that is put in a balloon...he was out. So he put it in a baggie and it looked like cocaine, which is what Mia was snorting. When she found Vincent's stash, she mistook it for cocaine, hit her usual amount to snort. If you go to the ER with an overdose, you are talking to the cops or worse, Marcellus Wallace.

@andreachilton6037 Vincent is a "loose canon". I see both the lack of basic gun safety practices and the heroin use as symptoms of his underlying issues.

One of the great filmmaking moments is the entire Jack Rabbit Slims scene. Mia & Vincent observe all the hollywood icons from the past. Then, once they get up to dance, it’s meant to dawn on us, the audience, that Vincent is played by John Travolta, the biggest dance star of the 70’s. At the time the film was released Travolta was somewhat forgotten, but this scene is meant to remind us he’s just as much of an icon as all the characters in the restaurant. It’s an amazing moment

I’m so happy to see more couples creating content together. You both have beautiful smiles! Much love to you both! We just celebrated our 25th Anniversary and I can honestly say that I love being married to my husband and I don’t regret anything because we eloped and got married on the beach in Jamaica. Our parents came out for 3 nights 4 days to see us get married. I’m so grateful we brought them because they hadn’t been anywhere in years and they all have passed away and I’m grateful for the beautiful memories we made with our parents. How long have you been together? 🙏🏼❤️Tracy ®️🦅

Drug trivia - Mia thought Vincent's heroin was cocaine. Usually, heroin looks brown or beige; only the very purest will look like a fine, white powder - but this is also very rare - rare enough that even a druggie like Mia didn't think twice, when she saw it - and treated it as if it was regular cocaine; she lined up long lines, and snorted up essentially a mega-dose of extraordinarily pure heroin - obviously, a lethal dose without immediate medical attention :D
@alharairah2214
@alharairah2214 10 ай бұрын
Also the Vincent's dealer mentioned he didn't have the usual packaging, since it was in a baggie instead of a balloon, it was easy for her to mistake what substance it was. And Mia had been snorting cocaine which is an upper - and mixing uppers and downers is dangerous

The great thing about the dance scene at Jack Rabbit Slims is when Mia announces she wants that trophy she has all the confidence but the audience doesn't know her from boo. Vincent is apprehensive but the audience knows he can dance from Saturday NIght Fever even tho it is a different character. Quentin just cast the meta of John Travolta's career into his character for the scene. Brilliant.

Up to this point in his career, Travolta was starting to feel type cast. He had to dance in every movie from the 70s, 80s, and now the 90s. Every director would insert a dance scene for him. He was starting to not like it, and hadn't been in anything for a few years before this, because he was tired of disco and old time rock dancing. He wanted to be an actor.

Being more organized and disciplined in his work, Julius wouldn't have left his gun on the counter while going to the bathroom and Butch may have died. Also; the pawnshop rapists would still be at it, so maybe Julius did the right thing?
