Hey Ed. Are you still using the I think 160 grain round nose in the 6.5 creed more If so I know you make your own rounds ...do you know any company that makes them . Thank . Waiting one new vids

Thanks for the video and the battery life is a deal breaker for me. e.g. I just spent 6 hours in blind and left my Pulsar Trail XP38 on the entire time. I leave screen on as well to reduce the response time if a quick shooting opportunity arises. 2.5 hours on the new thermal would have meant 3 batteries. Hunting on a working cattle ranch with at least 11 horses would mean, for me, no shot!
@OutdoorEDventures4 жыл бұрын
Stock battery is weak. The AS3 battery would easily cover your needs along with internal battery. Sounds like you already have a thermal.
@justhuntvids58984 жыл бұрын
The Thermion XP50 also has a 1.5-2hr internal battery. With the internal battery, the external battery can be changed without powering down the device. As far as turning off the Thermion, it's power-response is immediate--just 2-3 seconds to power on to operational--exponentially quicker than the Trails. Also, you can put it to sleep like the Trail and re-powering is instant. Again, internal and external battery combined, you're looking at about 4 active hours, much more than the 2.5 hours you're thinking. An extra battery is small, weighs nothing and takes seconds to change out. Just wanted to give you some extra info. Hope it helps.

A note to this that I didn't hear you say. The DVR shown in this vid is not near the quality of the picture you get in the screen when you look three the scope. Great revue :) got our second xp38 on its way together with an xq38LRF :P
@OutdoorEDventures4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely great observation. You are lucky to get 60-70% quality redigitzed though screen. Live is always going to be exponentially better!
@justhuntvids58984 жыл бұрын
That is true but Pulsar does an EXCELLENT job getting it close. You have to remember that this may also be the result of downgraded quality in rendering (in the lineal video editing program). The image and video are both quite crisp but it does take some time playing with features/settings to optimize it. That said, video storage is internal as opposed to the old school external DVRs so there are some major benefits there, especially considering effects through recoil impulse. Good vid.

The pulsar Trail XQ38 works fantastic but I need to figured out how to turn off the invisible hogs option I know them hogs are there but they have some kind of invisibility cloaking device they used to program my scope so they are invisible to it so I cannot see them even when they are right in front of me Acorns?? No that's not it! They have invisibility cloaking devices I'm tellin ya!! invisibility cloaking devices is all it can be LOL

Not new. I would not pass on a Sig Echo 1 or 2. You can find them on sale occasionally around 1K.

Awesome scope, and even better with the online update, pity that the elevation and windage knobs are not marked up/down-left/right, the only criticism that I have.

Not willing to send a .20 caliber bullet over 400 yards into a hog. I don't think I'd even do that with a 6.5 Grendel.
