Let's give the RAM some more pep in her step. We install a #diablo Pulsar piggy back ECU module and test it. New bracket created for installation!!

My mph is inaccurate after adding 35’s. Does selecting your tire size adjust to the right reading? Right now im off about 3mph

It does not, I have the same issue. I tried several settings and it is still off 3mph

@sierragaragedoor3909 I bought a WiFi OBD2 scanner and set it to 35s as well. No change, I would like to find out how to fix it as well so we can share it out to everyone. Frustrating

I purchased the pulsar and changed my tire settings. Don’t enter the tire in as 35” I have 35’s and my actual tire height it 33.5”. That corrected my Speedo. Measure your tire height!

I've got a 2015 RAM 2500 that famously tows horribly on steep hills (as demonstrated on Ike's Gauntlet). I pull a 34' 10K lbs TT. It stands to reason that this would improve my towing performance on grades?? Great vid - thanks!

Had the same issue with mine ended up having to pull the ecm mounting plate off an drill out the bolt holes and grind the back of the plate down! Got about an 1/8 of an inch of clearance from the ac lines. Was a pain in the ass but it fits..need to fill up with 91 octane still to run in performance level..

I've noticed that u had the settings on performance with mds off but was seeing that your eco light was on witch I've heard that this won't shut mds off,,,,, so half the cost u could buy a banks peddle monster and really do the same thing,,,, just speaking my thoughts

I’m probably gonna get a pulsar for my 6.4 too but I have a S&B cold air intake for mine and it made it more snappy I would recommend getting one for your truck I’m sure you’ll even notice more power

Are you running high octane? I got the tuner and the instructions say only run modes 7 and 8 with 91 octane. Curious if that’s necessary?

Was curious if you towed anything and noticed a difference. I’ve got a travel trailer I haul around and this is just about the only tuner you can find for the 6.4 Hemi with adjustable modes. Thanks & appreciate the video!

Yes I have, I noticed is the shift RPM is different with the Pulsar and fuel mileage is better. I suggest adding Rear air bags if your hauling a lot just to save on your springs. Hope this helps.

Went to the website and it doesn’t show it being available for the 2023 ram 2500 6.4 hemi. I would imagine it would be the same as the 2022 but I’ll wait until there is confirmation. I really only want the ability to disable MDS.

Ide love to see some dyno numbers for this thing. Also, since there is a tow mod tune, is the tow and haul mode button still necessary?

I would love to see the Dyno numbers as well, The only thing I noticed the Tow/Haul button is good for is hill assist. If you do not push the button Hill assist will not engage.

Does cruise control still function normally even with the Pulsar uses those buttons to change settings?

Yes, once and a while I can't get it to turn on the cruise but turn it off and on and it's fine.

So i just ran across your page today man so whats the mpg you average towing and normal driving ive got 35s and get 15 mpg on a regular basis but i get on rare occasions 17 and 9 towing

I get 13 pretty much no matter what. I do all city driving. I always use tow mode.

Can you adjust the tire pressure sensors? Or at least turn off the light on the dash I upgraded tires rated for 65 psi and the lights on wants me to fill them to 80 psi I need it to go away I want to fix that and mds delete

You will need and OBD programmer to turn off the light.

The AC line must be a Power Wagon thing. I installed the same one on my Laramie and had no clearance issues. Also had a friend who has a PW who ran into the same clearance issue as you.

What's your thoughts after installing the Pulsar? Are you happy with the results? Two things: Do you need higher octane fuel for the performance modes and does the install keep idiot lights on of the dash.

@@ericmandragona4635 I’ve had mine installed since 19 (the older version) and not had the first issue. I paid $300 ish for it. For that price I thought it was well worth it, especially if you’re not going to do any major modifications to have to tune it. But for the price they are now, it would be tough for me to buy it again for what it does. As for the higher octane fuel, I run 87 in the performance mode all the time and not experienced the first problem.

Yes it really makes a difference, the modes are great and the mileage is 2MPG better when running in tow mode. Strange but yes Tow mode gave me the best mileage and performance.

Get a pedal commander too. Spin my tires at lights all the time.
