With a three or four pods pump, pulsing is very lower than with this one. However, your damper is fantastic.

And give up their R&D? It appears from the outside to just be a standard accumulator. You can see the schrader valve on top for filling with an inert gas, and a diaphragm is sandwiched between the two dampener housings at the top, separating the gas from the liquid being dispensed. This is a standard component in hydraulics, with the same purpose, to dampen out the pulsation from the pump. It is the equivalent of a electrical capacitor, which is used everywhere in circuits to smooth out power fluctuations (pulsations).
